Bros dem. No be small thing 4 this oyibo land o!. The racism is primal. A lot of them are really ignorant and can't help themselves. And their T.V and media bombard them with news on immigrants, NHS, ebola... As i dey here, if i dey go work; i dey prepare like say i dey go war. Because the truth is they are not happy seeing ur black skin. Worse if u earn more than them. U have to be 10 steps ahead of their plotting against u. I am ALWAYS mentally alert with them. Don't laugh too much with them. Cause it's the one u laugh most with wey go pin ur black nyash to the wall Who God has blessed, no man can curse. But it can be really exhausting to always be on your toes around them- so when i dey off, i dey jellof till i drop. But know your work very well and always document or email anytime wey u anticipate any wahala, to cover ur ass. Even ur fellow black person(those uncle tom nig**rs) dey almost as dangerous so be careful of them too- Your own fellow Nigerian go fukk u up sef Most people will prefer to come back to Nigeria if things were a little bit better sef. No place pass ur own country sha. Instead of the mental torture for this side. But how we go do? If u come back Nigeria- No work, no light, no road, boko haram, kidnapping, assassination, politicians, corruption, tribalism, nepotism, religious war... And the worst thing is that the black man in africa does not want to improve anything in his environment- infrastructure, roads, housing. The black man does not think of his fellow black man. Only selfishness and how to steal money to the detriment of others and your society. Then they go and put the money in the white man's banks. Then how can the white man respect u? Life is fukked; But strong man no dey cry. We go ride till we die! 2 Likes |

Amefrica: I see no racism in all the stuff that you wrote and you and your friends are some of the reason why these things continue to perpetuate. No one has an obligation to respond to you positively, who are you to require ALL total strangers to greet you? You don't know the challenges that the poor Guy has in his life, perhaps he was robbed by black folks before and he is now cautious of interacting with certain types. And then you and your friends want to start fighting with him? For what? I don't know about Canadian laws but you should be careful fighting in public. You are no longer in Oyingbo or Ebute Meta, be civilized and professional. You were an instigator and doing black folks a disservice by your actions. 3 Likes |

majekdom2: You've got no clue about what racism means, and you very ignorant to call me a racist when all I am doing is speaking the truth and providing you with facts which can be checked and verified. Nigeria is under the economic control of the world bank and IMF which ensure that we never invest in our education system, when Buhari was in office he refused to implement these destructive policies and the west promptly had him overthrown and replaced him with Babangida who began cutting spending on all public services , education included, so if you want to point fingers you better start pointing at the US and Europe who are the architects of our collapsed educational system in Nigeria. You are a brainwashed follower, whenever Africa tries to put into office decent leaders they are immediately killed or overthrown by the CIA, only tyrants and corrupt scum are allowed to remain in office for decades. . wAs Nkrumah incompetent? how about Gadaffi, Mandela, Sankara and Lumumba - better go and learn about your history and stop spouting ignorance on this thread. People like you continue to bleat about good roads and healthcare but in the same breath sing the praises of people llike Ngozi Okonjo Iweala who is implementing all of the starvation economic policies that will ensure you never have any of those things, you have no clue about what racism is you joker. 7 Likes |

Amefrica: My son, be very careful; where you greeting everybody u came across while in nigeria Am sure u were not doing that; u just want to force your self on folks who dont give a shiit about u; better go there and do what your old folks sent u there to do. Some white folks refused to return your greetings, and you n your friend wanted to fight them in their own country Be careful so u dont end in jail or get forced back to nigerian jungle. I have said my own. Am outta here. |

cap28:bros , na wa for you oo . I dont seem to understand you seriously . Now you bringing politics ..... buhari , babaginda . is that what we discussing here . the fact remains , the babaginda you mentioned is a black man just as you . and you claim babaginda the blackman allowed himself to be used . so what is the argument here , would you blame the white man for devising schemes or blame the blackman that pertrated and allow these schemes on his own people when he knows it wont help him. you blaming babaginda and at the same time blaming the oyinbo man , soon you will blame the devil .you will even say obasanjo and gej were put there by the whites. the black leaders you mentioned had notable impacts , till today some blame mandela in southafrica for signing a deal with the whites because they believe the whites are still favoured , you should read on the differences between his exwife and him . I am not a fan of okonjo and her policies , you can check on my topics and posts on here on NL. I see you are the regular that complains about almost everything , soon you will say it is the white man that thought jonathan how to say stealing is not corruption. Like I said no one will treat you so bad , if they know they will gain from you . The blacks are a problem to themselves not the whites. |

/ OP: Nothing in the story depicts racism. He saw two black folks who may rob him as a good number of them do. He got away. Yet una carry una wahala go sit next to them on the bus. They moved because they thought that you were coming in for the kill. Next time, learn to mind your busy. It is not by force to discuss with a stranger. If na naija sef, this time of the year, the man go hold im blokos may e no be say like play play the thing go disappear. / |

@ OP, Please read... "You would not believe how I got my first real corporate job. One bright Saturday Morning, 3 months after my graduation from Graduate Business Sch,I went for my usual early morning cliff run.Nothing unusual except that I noticed the cliff parts had overgrown with weeds. In front of me, I saw a group of elderly locals clearing the parts. I wished them well as I jogged past them … 10 mins later, I saw another man all alone clearing a partway,I greeted him, ran past him, suddenly stopped and walked back towards him. I greeted him and asked him if he was volunteering. He nodded ad gave me a friendly smile. Since I love volunteering, I offered to help clear the partways, after all, I am a regular user of same partway. That was how my run ended that day. We had a very wonderful discussion on Sustainable Development as we worked. He was impressed and asked a lot of questions on the effects of Oil pollution in our Naija Delta and how corporations abuse their Powers and neglect their corporate social responsibilities. Before I left him, he of course, wanted to know what I do for a living and what I was doing in a cold country of his. To cut the long story short, this man turned out to the the VP of one of the top Tech Companies. And for three yrs, I worked under his LOB until he moved to Silicon Valley while I moved on to greater things too" Some worth similar right?? It pays to be Polite... Keep being polite. 4 Likes |

majekdom2: You have a very simplistic mindset which doesn't surprise me as a lot of Nigerians reason like you. Of course I have to bring in politics because politics is entertwined with history. Just in case you haven't noticed, the Europeans and americans dominate the entire world because militarily they are stronger - now just in case you are still not getting the point - a nation that is militarily stronger than your own nation can overthrow or kill your leaders at will and that is exactly what happened with Buhari so its not about why Babangida allowed himself to be used, its about the fact that militarily the west are more powerful than us and can impose leaders on us whether we want them or not. Also in every society you will always have saboteurs and this is not unique to Nigeria but to countries all over the world. the united states has overthrown and killed progressive leaders in south America, the carribean and the arab world so your question should be: "why does the US and Europe go around the whole world intimidating and destroying progressive govts who have the interests of their people at heart" and not "why did babangida allow himself to be used" people like you are so brainwashed that you cant bring yourself to ever question the white man because it is ingrained in you that the white man is your lord and master. Again I see that you would rather blame mandela than blame the white man who clamped him in prison for 27 long years, yes mandela may have sold out by agreeing to allow the whites retain their hold over the land and resources of south Africa but you must remember that by 1990 mandela was already a broken man, he had suffered various psychological and physical breakdowns whilst in prison and it was for this very reason the white power structure chose him as their preferred peace broker as they knew they could get a better deal with him as he was no longer as militant and as radical as he had been when he was imprisoned in 1963, this does not however change the fact that Mandela put the needs of his nation before his own personal needs, therefore your statement about African leaders is not completely true because there are true freedom fighthers in Africa who would give up their lives for the freedom of their people, sadly these kind of leaders are never allowed to get into the corridors of power by Europe and the US. 4 Likes |

Your mate better brace himself for more of this, if he wants to remain staying abroad. He will find such people at his place of work, school etc. Just ignore such people, cos they do such to get a reaction from you. |
