Okay had to congratulate the writer on this story, got me to read all in about 30 minutes..... That's how fast I read if a story interests me....
Then to comments on here although biased because the story is about mma I was all for Cynthia tbh, in reality you wouldn't want to share your home with an outsider just because your he goat of a fiance got her preggo so i was in support of all she did to keep her home.....
Although i don't like how the story ended , I hope the man doesnt go ahead to marry mma anyways would be so unfair to Cynthia.

Thanks, Roby. Good to know that you see Cynthia's actions as plausible.

Actually I'm not. I get a lot reports like this and it's baffling why people do it. I nearly reported a blog that posted all of Ola Chapters and even claimed the story was written by her and taking all the credit.

They also did that to me.But you know what? If they chose the story and posted it and people loved it,that means the story is nice.Boys don't throw stones at a barren mango tree. There must be ripe fruits on it.

I was able to stop the page posting my story because i found out the page admin.

Don't worry.Someday,we will become great writers and the world will read the stories.

Dont be discouraged

Dan your work is very excellent and great.I think you should report those doing that,if possible go through the appropriate quarters and stop them.If you fold your hands in the near future when you can put your work together for publishing it might be difficult and also make an appearance on the wall of those miscreants, never do wells that would derive joy in attributing someones' good success to themselves.Remain positive though your place is at the top.

Hello guys, I will be speaking at this year's Nigeria CSR Awards on 'How Nigerian Companies Can Help Boost Talent Development' grin

You can get a free ticket to the event. It's at Muson Centre, Onikan Lagos, this Saturday. Red carpet starts by 6:00pm.

Go to their Twitter page (https://twitter.com/NigeriaCSRaward) and see how you can win a free ticket to the event. I got two but since I don't have a wife yet, I've given out one to a friend.

DanWrites:
It is very saddening when people copy your work, use it and get all the credit.
Writing is one of the hardest things to do. Most writers don't sleep at night.
Since I posted The Village Girl on Nairaland, many story blogs have copied the original story, fronting it as theirs. Only a few of them sought my consent before using the work and I had given them conditions under which they were to do so.
This same thing happened when I posted Ola here. That one was crazier even.
Actions like this dampen the spirit of coming writers like me. I paid for all the personal development I put in to get to this place. I attended several writing workshops, most of them I paid heavily in cash to enrol in.
I am a journalist but creative writing and journalistic writing are way too different. I put a lot effort in developing my characters before winding them through a seamless plot to achieve a readable story.
Since I threw submissions open on my blog for story entries, of all the tens of stories we receive each day, only a tiny few would have potential. Because it is not easy.
Please, I beg of you, if you have posted any of my stories on any blog, for the sake of morals, just go there and credit me as the original writer of the story.
Also put a link to my official blog - http://danwrites90..com
God Bless.
It is my mistake, I should have opened a blog a lot earlier than now.
Thank you all.
Daniel Nkado

Shebi I told you that time that someone was using your story. Don't be too sad, on the brighter side, ppl only steal something that is too fine for them to afford. So chill but please don't stop writing o. And why is my comment not showing on your blog?

Actually the comment thing has been worked on. You can now drop your comments as you want them. Please it is better to comment with a name rather than using Anonymous. Comments made as Anonymous are more likely to be marked as spam. You can also win recharge cards every week simply by commenting.

Hello, commenting on your blog is odd cos I have done so twice but it dissapeared.
The site has potential but I really think u should post often -so to speak. Like today, I only saw one 'gloria' post. Lol
We appreciate though but things should only get better # Heaven on earth.
Cheers

Thank you for the review, teamplayey. We do our best to update DNB regularly. Dan is also very choosy about submissions.
But be sure to read something new on DNB every day.
The ongoing chapter story now is The Village Girl 2. Chapter Three of it will be posted today.

As for making comments, did you try logging in into a Google account or using the Name/URL option?
Many are actually complaining of it. Please try again, as I learned, once you are able to make one comment, the difficulty ceases.
