Hahahaha, how do you want to convince me that your god is three in one..nonsense..when is written all over scripture that Yahweh is not Yahshua? Hun! undecided

I don't believe in that three in one hogwash. I stand with the scripture that describes God as one in number

Where in scripture is it written that Yahweh is not Jesus Christ? am still waiting for you to provide the scriptures to back your claim.

Wonderful..it amaze me that people that believe think that Jesus is Yahweh like you here still exist. Have you no scriptural understanding? Even the John 3:16 you sing up and down in your sunday school was very clear about this very issue and I asked you to read it but you came back ranting that Jesus is the same as Yahweh..what a shame sad, here is what Paul says to people like you 1 Cor.15:34 34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Still on 1 Cor. 15:27-28 .."27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Have you seen how clear this chapter made it that the Son (Jesus) is Subject to the father (God)?..so An2elect2 how did you come about mixed up doctrine of trinity where in the scripture Yahweh is said to be Yahshua?

And of-course we have one almighty God Yahweh (Eph.4:6) , who is God to Jesus and father to him too...this is why I hold the hebrew Shema very tight Deu.6:4

"Shema yisrael Adonai Elohinu Adonai ehad"
(hear O israel the lord our God the lord is one)

several times Jesus made us realise that the father is greater than him.
Jesus could do nothing of himself but what he sees the father does. If you are really a follower of Christ you will know who Jesus follow.

1 cor. 8:6 "6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." ...here God is made known as father and Jesus as lord..denoting two separate entities not One as you have said.

2 Peter 1:16-17
"16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17 For he(Jesus) received from God(Yahweh) the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him(Jesus) from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Also Jesus said “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done” (Luke 22:42).

This shows that they had two separate wills, although Jesus submitted his will to the will of the Father.  Two wills mean two separate individuals.

Furthermore, Jesus is reported to have said, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46).  If one of them forsook the other, then they must be two separate entities.

There are just too many verses to debunk your one in three co-equality catholic Doctrine brother. Jesus is Son to Yahweh

An2elect2 your father can not be the son of himself....Jesus is the Son of God(Yahweh) Ok!

Sorry for late reply.

1. When i called Jesus Yahweh i lied not cos the scriptures say so. The Almighty Yahweh Himself said in Isaiah 45:22-23 " Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is NON ELSE. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto ME every knee shall bow and every tongue swear." That was Yahweh. He said by Himself that there is no other beside Him. If that is the case it logically means no one can lay claim to these words except Yahweh Himself. No one can command worship except Yahweh.
Now look at Philippians 2:10-11: "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, of things in earth and things under the earth. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." There! Two Gods/Lords/Yahwehs? nah! Same person, He took upon Himself flesh doesn't mean He is made up of separate persons.

Isaiah40:3 "The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God." The LORD is Yahweh!

Aha! can you remember this? John the baptist.
Matthew 3:1-3. Read it up. Who was he making way for? was it you?

John1:1 The Word was God.

John1: 14 The Word was made flesh.

The Word was revealed in flesh and called the Son of God which is God in flesh. God begat God(Himself) in flesh. Simple.

"Without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, JUSTIFIED IN THE SPIRIT, seen of angels,PREACHED UNRO THE GENTILES, BELIEVED ON IN THE WORLD,RECEIVED UP INTO GLORY" 1Tim 3:16.

Jesus was both God and man. His divinity was 'clouded' by the flesh on Him. He is not just Mighty He is the Almighty, the Alpha and the Omega. The Only one true God. Rev1:8. He is the same as the Father Isaiah9:6.

Cant continue for now will have to be up early tommorow.

1. When i called Jesus Yahweh i lied not cos the scriptures say so.

No pls! the scripture never called Jesus Yahweh..but the Son of Yahweh. Father cannot be the son of himself, you are in great error..Jesus died and rose again but Yahweh did not coz he is immortal God.

Of-course that is Yahweh and there is no one like him in Luke 18:19. Jesus said
"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone.
Numbers 23:19 "19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Again in Isaiah 45:5-6 "5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else."
How be it, you will end up putting 3 in 1 or 1 in 3 like a triniterian.

Why didnt you start from verse 9 of that same chapter hun! So we could all read the part where it says "9 Wherefore God(Yahweh) also hath highly exalted him(Jesus), and given him(Jesus) a name which is above every name:

Who is exalting who in that verse? An2elect2
How about John 14:28 "28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I."

Isaiah40:3 "The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God." The LORD is Yahweh!

Here is Isaiah 40:3 "3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God." I wonder how u ended up with Yahweh in that verse.
..looks like you are confusing the use of 'Lord' and 'God', remember Jesus was given authority and name above other names, he represent God the father in all aspect of his ministry and also receives praise and worship to the glory of God the father..Jesus was called Lord and God too in the scripture..same way the father was addressed but that does not make him the father..everything Christ did he does by the authority of his father who is God over all.

Aha! can you remember this? John the baptist.
Matthew 3:1-3. Read it up. Who was he making way for? was it you?

Good as you can see Matt 3:1-3 is in sync with what I am saying above, it reads:
"1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias(Isaiah), saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight."

John1:1 The Word was God.
Yes the word(Jesus) was God and was with God(Yahweh)

John1: 14 The Word was made flesh.
Yes the word of God that was with God was made flesh not God himself as in Yahweh...the word(Jesus) of God that was with God(Yahweh)..take note of 'with' in purple..denoting something was WITH another..making them two separate entities.

The Word was revealed in flesh and called the Son of God which is God in flesh. God begat God(Himself) in flesh. Simple.

Where did the scripture says God biget himself?, will you quit being delusional and confused already! angry even my 6yrs old nephew wont say this rubbish..John 3:16 didnt say God biget himself

The God referred to here is in the person of Christ..read your bible properly my friend

Jesus was both God and man. His divinity was 'clouded' by the flesh on Him. He is not just Mighty He is the Almighty, the Alpha and the Omega. The Only one true God. Rev1:8. He is the same as the Father Isaiah9:6.

Lets see what Isaiah 9:6 called Christ..6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
You dont have to twist the scripture to drive home your point...Jesus was never referred to as the ALMIGHTY GOD.
Here is revelation which you fail to quote from verse one
Rev 1:1-7 "1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ."
....Did u noticed the order which the revelation was passed down till the angel in bold.? undecided or you want to tell me it was the angel that referred to himself as the Almighty in verse 8 of-course not..it was God the father all along. Now back to the bolded in red...I want you to explain what you understand with no multiple words or diversion or selfish twisting of scripture, what that statement in verse 1 is saying? lets see how you arrived at thesame person being God(Yahweh) and Jesus..how?

Lol Jesus is Yahweh robed in flesh. John1:14.
If you've seen Christ as to His deity you have seen the Father. John14:6,9.
Your problem is that you don't understand the dual nature of Christ. He was both man and God, combined. He had to take upon Himself our nature to redeem us. God needed a perfect and sinless body for this. Hebrews 10:5. That was why His conception into this world was not by a man or Joseph but by The I AM Himself.
To beget means to Father, procreate, cause. God was literally the Father of Jesus.
If the Father is God and God was made flesh in the person of Jesus Is Jesus not the Father? Who was the Deity in Christ? The Father/God. God is a Spirit and His Spirit cannot die. What died was the body, the flesh, the man not the Deity in Christ. The scriptures record that Christ rose himself from the dead and also records that God rose Him up. Same being.

When Jesus asked the young man why he called Him good and then said no one is good but God, He was not denying His deity. Luke18:19,20. Read the verses again. He asked because He wanted the man to see the implications of his words, deeds, thoughts and also His(Christ') divinity. Only God deserves to be called good cause all our good deeds must proceed from Him. The passage was not about Christ denying His divinity but His acknowledgement of it cos He is good. All scriptures bare record to the fact that Jesus was good, without sin, perfect, righteous, with no guile. He said He is the good Shepherd. John10:11, John8:46,Hebrews4:15,etc

Am no trinitarian ok stop this straw man point.
Maamin=post28641489:

Oga that's not two but one. If you understand the two natures of Christ. you will understand the mystery in 1Timothy 3:16 only one being did all that. God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. That's God hun? who did all this? Jesus. Did you see Head God and sub God there?
Maamin=post 28641489:

Yes the word(Jesus) was God and was with God(Yahweh)

lol If Jesus=God and God=Yahweh
Logic: Jesus= Yahweh. You are confused.

Don't get me started with this one cos you wont find the truth sweet to swallow.

How can somebody be a almighty and yet not the mighty. What are you talking about? are there two Gods? undecided SMH

Yes.

rckdude:

To start with your statements; "world has evolved beyond all that" and "people of this generation have become more knowledgeable" are excuses proponents of homosexuality put forward to support their immoral behaviors. I agree the world has changed, culture have evolved, information is ubiquitous and there is more freedom to live as we please. One thing hasn't changed. God hasn't changed. Our God is the same God he was during Paul's generation, His word is still active and living, sharper than any two edged sword...it discerns the very intents of our heart.

Paul was an apostle to the gentile world and not the Jews. The gentile (majorly Greeks and Romans) were more knowledgeable and advance than the Jews. But we didn't see Paul entering their pagan shrines all in the name of converting them. He stood his ground, he didnt compromise. When Paul went to Ephesus he didn't enter the temple of their goddess before the Ephesians believed in him and burnt all their pagan books and stuffs. The Pope claims to be from the line of the Apostles, why isn't he following the examples laid down by his predecessors? Oh! the world has evolved right?

Yes I agree with you that people want to see what Christianity offers, if i were born a Muslim i would also want to see what Christianity would offer me. But I don't think the way to show what we offer as Christians is to show the world that we support their pagan worship because we as Christians are tolerant. If thousands of people are converting to Christianity its because they gave room for the Holy Spirit to convince them, I don't think they would be converted by seeing the Pope worship in a mosque (even if you claim he was worshiping Jehovah). This would rather confuse their new found love for Christ.

Judaism wasn't a popular culture during the time of Moses to the reign of David down to the last King that went on exile to Babylon. When Jesus came and brought the new covenant, Christianity still wasn't a popular religion, the disciples were killed, jailed and beaten. they didn't compromise their faith. Why should our own generation compromise? Why should we run to their place of worship just because we want them to stop killing us? We are making the devil to rejoice by doing this.

May God bless the soul of all the true Christians who have lost their lives in the North and every other part of the world.
sorry i didn't see this on time,
i want to say that homosexuality is a normal variation of human sexual orientation and that is how God design life. he created variety of species , for reasons best known to him , so we shouldn't fight God by hating homosexuals simply because what they do is irritating.
For same sex attraction is also found among all species of living things, including insects and plants.
moreover, God says love your neighbor as yourself.
anybody can be your neighbor including homosexuals.
everbody have the right to practice any religion of their choice. if anybody have problem with God for being a Muslim then, we humans should not help God to fight by hating Muslims.
let God fight his battle.
our own is to treat them equally the way we treat our fellow christians.
if they are not reciprocating our love for them by killing us, to fight back will never bring peace to the world.
what the pope did in mosque wasn't worship.
what we go to church to do is not worship.
church and mosque are mere buildings. buildings and all the ordinances in them and lifting holy hands and prayer are not worship. check your bible.
they are all classified in the category of praise.
worship and praise are not the same thing.
to worship God in spirit and truth is right inside your spirit, a state where Christ created in you when he died on the cross
the pope understand this things.
in summary, religion is nothing and is not worth fighting for

An2elect2:

Only God receives worship. God said He wont share His glory with any other. Did He change His mind? lol you are making no sense.

lol If Jesus=God and God=Yahweh
Logic: Jesus= Yahweh. You are confused.

Nah, God was with Himself does not mean two entities John 1:1 debunks that argument. God = Word. God was made flesh. The Word was made flesh. Does it mean two were made flesh? not!

Lol the scripture did not put it that way doesn't mean it is not that way straw man.

There is more to just reading the scriptures. That's why every Christian has the anointing. The Teacher.

What? you must be joking with this right? that was the revelation of Jesus that He sent His angel to testify unto John. Lol anyone who reads revelation will know its Jesus all through and the same that sat on the throne.
Don't get me started with this one cos you wont find the truth sweet to swallow.

How can somebody be a almighty and yet not the mighty. What are you talking about? are there two Gods? undecided SMH

One more thing the name of Jesus has far greater significance than the name Yahweh in these last days.
Yes.

This is Ridiculous
