yes,it is very possible but it will have more negative effect in an economy like nigeria own. We aren't a manufacturing country and I think to a large extent it is good to have a devalued currency to a dollar so as to be able to produce goods cheaper. I maybe be wrong though maybe some economist here will be able to throw more light on this issue

Its never and would never be possible, Only Market forces can creat this, the only physical currency change that can happen by pronunciation is devaluation.Even china with the highest growth don't have same value as the Dollar.America with all its mights still trade at £1.56 to a $1, don't eh US do all that you mentioned?
