South West is already secured. The good works of governors Fashola, Ajimobi, Aregbesola, Amosun and former governor Fayemi and the figure of Tinubu have already secured the South West. The choice of Amaechi is strategic, it is aimed at dividing the votes from the South South that would have all gone to Jonathan who also from the region.

1. Fashola is a muslim, and a muslim/muslim ticket won't sell that much. We shouldn't forget that Nigerians haven't mature that much in terms of ethno-religion politics.
