bossladyMo:Yeah, I am doing PTE-Academic on Wednesday. I know it will be much better than IELTS. I know what monopoly is..YIMU to British Council! I don't know how they want somebody to get 30/30 in writing on TOEFL Ibt for superior level. So I will update Oz thread later and PTE-A could be the way forward. Cambridge Advanced English will soon be added. I need 79/90 all bands or above on Wednesday. Canada's EE is all experimental and it won't favor me and many but I'm happy Oz's road is simpler. Thank you BossladyMo! I will chat you up on your opinion, should I wait to round off my Masters degree project in order to boost my ICT Major content or go with my B.Sc transcript and certificate. You know my 7 courses are still being awaited and I have paid for both transcripts. My M.Sc has 15 ICT courses! ACS needs me to upload certified copies of all and pay. I see people get their assessment results after one month. Bosslady, I know you aren't into much IT but you could say a thing or two! Thank you once again. |

ferdimako: Good luck on that. That is why we no dey see you for this thread anymore? |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 3:10pm On Dec 12, 2014 |
ANBAKO: Yes, I have been preparing for the test. I need 20 points from the test because I have 40 already. With subclass 189, no settlement fund or evidence and I land anywhere I like. I will soon go away from here. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by ANBAKO: 3:12pm On Dec 12, 2014 |
ferdimako: On the bolded, Please dont say that again!!! It is experimental, Now that you could not meet the point ...it suddenly becomes experimental. IELTS is now monopoly!!! hmmm. Oz suddenly become simpler, then what of current FSWP? Super simplest.....? You were the one lightening this thread up with this EE thing, now you are berating it..... Known devil is better than an unknown Angel. All the best with Aussie moves!!! |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 3:17pm On Dec 12, 2014 |
ANBAKO: Yeah.. I thought it could be as simple as Oz's. But I won't meet up with their demands which I did on paper-based type. I said it won't favor me and so many others. It favors folks who have got jobs now and Canadian experiences. I can't be hoping for something I can't achieve, and I know they will tone it down with time. Anything or nobody that has control over one thing is a monopoly. I don't think you know my history... I am talking about the routes not rubbishing Canada! |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 4:23pm On Dec 12, 2014 |
ferdimako: Do come back to say how the PTE turns out for you. When will you be finishing your masters? I would advise you wait till you get it before applying for assessment. ACS deducts years of experience if your degree isn't in a related field. But whatever it is, this 2015 year is going to bring huge changes to Aus migration...so get in while you can. On the other hand, you can submit your BSc, without the missing courses...but you stand the risk of it being assessed as an ICT minor, and a significant number of years will be deducted from your work experience. You should download the skillassessment guidelines pdf from the ACS website. |

ferdimako: Go away from where? Internet dey Aussie too na. I trust you... You will still be using one-eye check Nairaland from that side. Once a Nairalander is forever a Nairalander. I love your spirit anyways....no retreat no surrender. Sincerely wish you best of luck. |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 6:51pm On Dec 12, 2014 |
bossladyMo:I have those from ACS...I hope to finish the project next month. I'd really like to have my diploma, B.Sc + Ms assessed...all is ICT major but don't know what the course units will turn out. WES said they are equivalent to Canada's but don't know if ACS will concur. If I get d 7 missing B.Sc courses on my transcript, that will be great...I can start the assessment next month without the Master's. However, if all could be in...that will be the best. I'm not claiming any migration points from job years and experience. I'll update Oz thread about the PTE...we will continue this talk there. I'm sorry folks for talking OZ on CA thread. Bear with me... I'm out of here! |

ferdimako: Your degree might be in ICT, but not have enough ICT courses to make it an ICT major, so it ends up being an ICT minor degree. We go dey yarn for Aus thread...make Canada people no use stone chase us komot lol |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by damkollins(m): 9:50am On Dec 13, 2014 |
highburygonner:The address is not really a problem ....it's just for bank record purposes . What is ideally important is raising the draft in favour of the Receiver General for Canada which you have done. No issues with the address given,,,,,,......you're fine. Cheers. |

I am filling the forms as well and instructions state that if the space ia not enough to fill in your details to you xan use a sheet of paper and attach it to the form. My question is about proof of funds. Pls how much in naira do I need as a single applicant. Does it matter if someone puts a large sum in my account before I print my statement. 1 Like |

Please how do I calculate how much funds I have in Canadian Dollar ooooo. I am having a tough time filling the forms. Is it ok to print out the forms and fill with black pen or is it compulsory I fill it online. When filling the generic form do I remove the dependant page since I don't have a dependent. The back ground declaration form I dont have enoufh space to fill my personal history and activity as the columns are too small. Can I leave it blank and add a sheet where I typed my full details. Help me please |

Please house, I need help with the following questions: 1. For forms in which I require extra sheet for, can I just create a word document, type the required information and attach it to the form? 2. Am I supposed to obtain a ‘proof of full custody for children under 18 and proof that the child may be removed from the jurisdiction of the court’ for my biological child as stated in number 17 of the documents checklist? 3. If yes, can this be an affidavit and who should sign it? Thanks house, this is urgent, please. |
