See, this is the typical nigerian phd syndrome. Everyone feels the need to criticize something... somehow i think it is the only way we feel we can boost our flagging self esteem.

I seldom criticize but when i do, it's strictly based on knowledge. If you want to make your rules stringent, then you must be prepared enough. I don't even have a PhD but i'm a scholar.

Do not be downhearted for reading the truth. Nigeria would be great if those who make the laws abide by them.

Please relax and have fun and tell those judges to get their qualifications right before judging others

All in all, it's good to have a contest but the judges should be somewhat qualified to handle this process.

I never wanted to be in any competition.....If you have a good comprehensive skill you would have understood that all I was saying was for them to make it an open competition without restricting it to a certain class of people because the ideas and knowledge would be limited to only that population pool.

I'm a Librarian and I dont attack people until they say something too dumb or attacked me first.

I'm sorry but if a way is made for you then same should be done to everyone. The longer i live in the US the more i realize why things don't work in Nigeria/Africa in general. Everyone wants rules bent for them. The rules are the rules, if you dont have the necessary documents required for the competition then too bad. try again next year.

I was having a conversation with a lady yesterday and we both agreed on the reasons why many Nigerian businesses here don't thrive as much .The main reason is our lacking customer service appeal.
You walk into a business,even if they don't care about you much as a black person,they sure will smile and treat you right,they make money by so doing and they are there to make money and if the receptionist fails to comply,he/ she will be gone.
The lobby will be inviting, with magazines for you to read and a TV set on a news channel,sometimes good soothing music playing,they may even have free coffee on the side for you.toilet area will be clean and well deodorized.
Walk into a Nigerian business,you see old smelly carpets,stains on the chair,the clock on the wall won't even be right.the harsh look on everybody's face will make you want to run out.if they had some magazines it will be from two years before.make the mistake of wanting to use the toilet,CHineke God,smell apart, You better check if there is toilet paper before you start releasing your cannon.
We want the same benefits but won't put in any efforts and wonder why the only customers are people from your village.

How do you match up the picture to the account name according to the rules and claims of being a graduate or an undergraduate?


Please judges if your rules have changed or been taken away and the competition is now open to everybody who claims to be a graduate or an undergraduate please say so plainly,I bet there are many who had been put away by the rules who are now eligible according to these your posts I see now.
It's not fair that many of them may never see this change,however.
