Reason(s) Why US Is Scared Of Nigeria by Nobody: 6:38pm On Dec 14, 2014 |
The 20th century has witnessed the rise of non-western powers threatening the world order established by some very racist whites. First to rise was Haiti, then Japan and now China/India. The rise of these powers has seen the Western powers lose more privileges, control , markets and most importantly resources. Nigeria is a potential superpower not because of her population but because if she is industrialized and decides to build a 10 lane railways connecting every African country to her, she will build an African empire out of trade and commerce influential enough to wean Africa of Western neocolonialism. ECOWAS and ECOMOG are clear proofs Despite poor implementation, we can see how much these organizations have achieved. I want to use this medium to tell our SW neighbours to avoid playing the script of indigenous neo colonists from the North who neither mean well for the country or their people. If Nigeria breaks up (which I do support) SW will be denying herself the opportunity of being part of this great future empire if she makes enemy of her Southern and Middle belt neighbours due to greed for the post of VP in the disguise of "Change" What Nkrumah Zik Sankara Mandela dreamt of achieving can still be achieved not through their erroneous believe of a bigger country but through trade, commerce and technology connected by railways. With love from the East= The trade commerce and technological light of Africa. 13 Likes |

This is more like why Whitetechnology is scared of any political alliance between the SW and the north. I guess your glorious vision of Africa must be to the exclusion of some people you don't like. By the way, the US is not scared of Nigeria. You need to drop this destructive victim mentality. 2 Likes |

WhiteTechnology: left for for me, most northern politicians are lazy and it's attributable to free 'oil money'. How does one expect these governors to look inwards and harness whatever resources that abounds within their states ( besides, there's hardly any state in Nigeria without its own form of blessings) when they know very well that something substantial is bound to fall in from Abuja every month....worst still is the loans they collect and nothing to show for such, all because of anticipation of oil money. so back to your question, why would any sincere and ambitious leader be afraid of true federalism and even 80 percent resource control? Corruption!!! personally, i'm of the opinion that all states should av total control of their resources and remit taxes to d central government...that would even curtail the clamor for state creation, crazy loans, crave for political offices by thieves and trust it will stimulate growth in the long run. 5 Likes 3 Shares |

Ever since the American parliament made their famous prophecy about Nigeria's breakup in 2005, I knew Nigeria was destined for greatness. Greatness that is not limited to the West African sub region alone, but greatness that will span the entire continent of Africa and the world at large. This is what the Americans are trying to avoid. It's important Nigerians know that, America will do anything to break up any country that may rise to challenge her super power status. They did it to former USSR. They did it to DR Congo. They did it to Cuba. Now they're doing it to China and Nigeria. |
