People who keep boring us with Buhari islamizing Nigeria are very stupid, no offence. In this present age and democracy, how will Buhari islamatize the predominantly xtian ss and se? He won't even dare it in north central or even in north east talkless of south. We don shine our eyes. No amount of divide and rule along ethnic and religious lines will make us vote a corrupt inept clueless gej next year. Buhari noni o. 16 Likes 1 Share |

Did the Bishop remind Goodluck Jonathan to also promise not to Christainize Nigeria? The height of irresponsibility and misapplication of knowledge is getting too much. Bigots calling others bigots. 14 Likes |

Change2015:Go and read about how Islam used force/violence to end about 1000 years of Christianity in Turkey. Today Turkey is about 99% Islam. However, this isn't the reason I will vote against buhari; the reason I will reject him is because he doesn't have any better ideology to administer Nigeria. 8 Likes |

He will actually islamize Nigeria. He won't do that by imposing sharia law, by just upholding the tenets of Islamic leadership like accountability, justice, equity and tolerance, you Christians would surely want to be part of the only true religion, Islam. However, the bishop even though he is putting his nose where it doesn't belong, is justified in his request (though he used challenge). but he hasn't been paying attention, GMB has said it time without number that no one can islamize Nigeria. GEJ had openly said he will not make policies that will subject Nigerians to undue hardship, but what are we facing now? politicians are like motor park touts, never depend on what they tell you. 5 Likes |

this a a very right call by the bishop. the current president of Sudan Omar al bashir was a liberal when he seized power. he was more liberal than Buhari. but in his later years,he dragged the country into OIC,introduced sharia and caused the breakage of the country. History tells us that they start going senile in there old age. buhari is already old. so the doomsday is nearer than expected. the signs are already there. let us not make this grave mistake of electing a closet sharia activist 3 Likes |

stanech:was it Buhari that registered Nigeria as an OIC member? NO Was it Buhari that allowed Sharia in Nigeria? No it was Obasanjo Does Nigeria still attend OIC meetings? Yes,Jonathan do attend the meetings. So tell me, if Buhari didn't islamize Nigeria as a military head of state when he had all the powers to do so without any hinderance, why should he do that as a democratically elected president? How is it possible? 10 Likes |

babadee1:You are a learner. During his military days, he was just a dummy head of state. He himself told us the coup that brought him to power was fought and won by others. That's why it was so easy for them to kick him out too. As a democratic president (God forbid), its just for him to unleash his private army (boko haram) on the 36 states in one fell swoop and even the Nass will flee while the president will be made to declare our beloved country an Islamic state! A vote for Buhari is a call to anarchy! 6 Likes 1 Share |

Much ado about the christians votes, what about the muslims votes? GEJ has only being campaigning to the christians and worse is that his supporters do that by insulting islam and muslims. If you ask them how GEJ would win they would say “ GEJ would win SS, SE, SW would be divided, he would win core PDP states in the north, north central, and the christians in the north would vote for him? WHAT ABOUT THE MUSLIMS VOTES?? 4 Likes |

• The major lie peddled by the ruling part against GMB is that he is an Islamic extremist but there is no evidence to support this. Many of his associates and subordinates in his private life are Christians. The statements credited to Buhari, which his detractors use to label him an Islamic fundamentalist, simply tell of an individual who is true to himself and his faith, and who will not compromise his faith for political advantage. In the 1984 military government of Buhari, out of the nineteen (19) governors appointed to preside over the nineteen States only seven (7) were Muslims. General Muhammadu Buhari's Governors 1984-1985: 1. Allison Madueke - Christian- Anambra. 2. Jeremiah Useni - Christian - Bendel. 3. Micheal Bamidele - Christian Ondo. 4. Oladipo Diya - Christian - Ogun. 5. David Mark - Christian - Niger. 6. John Kpera - Christian - Benue. 7. Dan Achibong - Christian - C/ Rivers. 8. Ike Nwachukwu -Christian -Imo. 9. Oladipo Popoola - Christian - Oyo. 10.Bitrus Atukum - Christian - Plateau. 11. B.L. Letimah - Christian - Rivers. 12. Salaudeen Latinwo - Muslim- Kwara. 13. Gbolahan Mudasiru - Atheist- Lagos. 14. Sani Sami -Muslim - Bauchi. 15. Abubakar Waziri - Muslim - Borno. 16. Muhammadu Jega - Muslim - Gongola. 17. Usman Mu'azu - Muslim - Kaduna. 18. Hamza Abdullahi - Muslim - Kano. 19. Garba Duba -Muslim -Sokoto General Do not be deceived, a vote against the Buhari is vote and support for the continuation of corruption, impunity, looting of our treasury, embezzlement of public funds meant for development; it is a support for the continuation of suffering and impoverishment of the masses in a land flowing with milk and honey. Vote Buhari. Be on the side of the people. Be on the side of YOU YOURSELF, not on the side of the corrupt political elite and business elite. 12 Likes 3 Shares |

Change2015: mr irreparably myopic xtian (i really doubt if u are a xtian though), did you just said islamization of nigeria cannot affect the practice of my faith as a xtian? I just can't believe a man in the 21st century is asking such question; like a caveman in the stone age, who didn't have access to information. Have u heard of a country called Turkey? Well, turkey was a xtian nation in times past. But when it became islamized, only scanty number of xtians are left in the country. Do u know a country called Saudi arabia? Well, Saudi Arabia is an islamized nation. As a result, no xtian can practice his faith freely. There are xtians of course, but they cannot build churches. They are free to practice their faith in The SECRET OF THEIR ROOMS and no more. Islamization means the constitution is islamic. It means xtians and people of other faiths can never stand for elective positions in the country. It means xtians are mere tenants and their landlords (muslims) can decide their faiths any which way they wants. It means only mosques will be built in campuses as official religious structure and no church will be allowed on government owned institutions. Do you know a country called Australia? Australia is a xtianized nation. Muslims are treated as mere tenants there. The Australian prime minister categorically told muslims to get the hell out of Australia if they are not satisfied with the "christian status" of australia. This is exactly what xtians in Nigeria will experience if they ever vote for an islamizer (grandson of uthman dan fodio). And for your information, kaduna is not islamized. Kaduna is still part of yet-to-be-islamized Nigeria, which is a secular nation. So Mr. Caveman "christian", are you enlightened now? it is disgusting that you don't know these things; information is so rife in this age. So how come you are still commenting like an irredeemable blockhead? 4 Likes |

seankay: then buhari shouldn't have problem doing what the bishop asked, right? The bishop didn't say buhari is bad. He just said buhari should come out and vow he will not islamize Nigeria. If you don't plan to steal, then vowing to the public about your clear intentions shouldn't be a problem. Or what do you think? |

vanunu: anyone who says religion will not play a role in 2015 election should just come and read your comment. You just said it all; buhari cannot be a good president of Nigeria. But of course, he will be a good president of nigerian muslims. I heard sometimes ago that northern muslims see southern muslims as fake. This means the oppression will not only affect Christians, but also the "fake" southern muslims. 3 Likes |
