Nine Important Verse That Muslim Need To Explain To Us by kinibigdeal(m): 10:32am On Dec 25, 2014 |
Am a scholar, a constructive critics but unbiased and very religious to my christian doctrine but not a fanatic or an extremist. I have both the bible and the Qur'an as the two major religion in Nigeria, some that knows me very well knew I have it in my archive but there was a day I came across a meliquenal verse in the qu'ran which I think need an explanation from the muslim faithfully which entails the following: Qur'an 9:29 Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the last Day, nor hold that forbidden which both been forbidden by Allah and his messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of truth, from way the people of the book, until they pay the jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. Qur'an 4:157 They said (in boast), "we killed christ jesus the son of mary, the messenger of Allah". But they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubt, without(certain) knowledge, but only conjective to follow, for a surety they killed him not. Qur'an 5:47 Let the people of the Gospel judge by what allah hath revealed therein. If any do fail to judge by(the light of) what allah revealed, they are (no longer better than) those who rebel Qur'an 2:191-193 And kill them wherever you find them and turn them out from where they have turned you out Qur'an 3:151 Soon shall we cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, for that they joined companion with Allah Qur'an 8:89 And fight with them until there is no more filna(disorder, unbelief) and religion should be only for Allah Qur'an 8:57 If thou comest on them in war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember Qur'an 9: 30 "AND THE JEWS SAY, EZRA IS THE SON OF ALLAH, AND THE CHRISTIAN SAY: THE MESSIAH IS THE SON OF ALLAH, THESE ARE THE WORDS OF THEIR MOUTHS; THEY INITIATE THE SAYING OF THOSE WHO DISBELIEVED; MAY ALLAH DESTROY THEM; HOW THEY ARE TURNED AWAY Qur'an 9:123 "O you who belief fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness Qur'an 48:2a "Muhammed is the messenger of Allah, and those with him are hard(ruthless) against the disbelief and merciful among themselves Tabari 9:69 Killing unbelievers is a small matter to us Conclusion Am not in anyway trying to trigger controversies with the aboved verse, and if deem fit it can be deleted, I just want a very good muslim scholar to explain the verses to me and some who are eager to know. And also if there is any verse in the bible that you also feel you need explanation as I have done, I will be happy to explain to you with the help of the holy spirit. 2 Likes |

[b] Qur'an 9:29 Fight those who believe not in God nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which has been forbidden by God and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of truth, [even if they are] of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. Some people have falsely concluded from verse 9:29, that Muslims are commanded to attack all non-Muslims until they pay money. In fact, such an interpretation is completely false and contradicts authentic Islamic teachings. Commenting on this verse, Shaykh Jalal Abualrub writes: These Ayat (Quranic verses) stress the necessity of fighting against the People of the Scripture, but under what conditions? We previously established the fact that the Islamic State is not permitted to attack non-Muslims who are not hostile to Islam, who do not oppress Muslims, or try to convert Muslims by force from their religion, or expel them from their lands, or wage war against them, or prepare for attacks against them. If any of these offenses occurs, however, Muslims are permitted to defend themselves and protect their religion. Muslims are not permitted to attack non-Muslims who signed peace pacts with them, or non-Muslims who live under the protection of the Islamic State. Qur'an 4:157And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allâh," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) ]: But Allâh raised him ['Iesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allâh is Ever All-Powerful, All Wise.}his body and soul were raised to the heavens. It is confirmed in the Saheeh that he will descend with his body and soul. Because if Allah meant that I’sa died, He would have said: ‘They did not kill him, and they did not crucify him, but he died’. That is why some Ulamah said: “and raise you” means “I take you up”, i.e. with body and soul’. In Arabic language “Tawafaitu” i.e. I received the amount in full, and “Istawfait” means the same thing. The word “Tawafa” does not necessarily refer to the “taking” of body and soul. It can also refer to ‘taking the soul away at the time of sleep’. Qur'an Qur'an 5:47 Let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah hath revealed therein. If any do fail to judge by(the light of) what Allah revealed, they are (no longer better than) those who rebel. We must read everything in its context. When one sees the clear evidence that Islam teaches that the text of the Christian and Jewish scriptures of today is corrupt, he or she then must attempt to harmonize and understand what the other verses are speaking about. When all verses are looked at together, the problem will go away. The main problem with Christians who put forth these arguments is that they fail to identify and understand how the Qur'an uses the terms 'Torah' and 'Gospel' in the Qur'an. When the Qur'an talks about the Torah and Gospel, one of its intentions is to speak about the original revelations sent to Moses and Jesus peace be upon them both respectively. Sometimes the Qur'an or authentic hadith might appear to be speaking about the Torah and Gospel, which Jews and Christians refer to. [/b] 3 Likes |

Zaikon:Can you provide PROOF that the resemblance of Jesus was placed on another man who was killed? The bible records that some people were sent to watch over the tomb of Jesus so that his body was not stolen. When He resurrected and they couldn't find Him,they reported back to those who gave them the instruction. These people gave them money and told them to go round saying Jesus' body was stolen by his disciples and many believed them(Matt.28:13) Anyone can tell stories.Muhammed told his own story. I will be convinced with PROOF that indeed someone else was killed in Jesus' place. |

And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. Zaikon:Jesus came and fulfilled a purpose. The story was that he was killed and was raised from the dead even before Muhammed was born.Muhammed came later with his story that he did not die but another person was killed in his place.Even before Muhammed came there was the story that he died but did not rise from the dead. I can say it was Muhammed's story and assumption since he did not leave any undeniable proof except his story that it was what God told him. 1 Like |

Zaikon:so you mean after the death of Jesus, God waited for 650years before he send muhammed to say ''they crucified him not?'' What about people that have died believing Jesus was dead? Whose gonna take the blame for there unbelieve ? The problems with Muslims is the misunderstanding of the holiness of God,this verse in the quran indicate God cast a false believe on Christians and Jews meaning God is a deceiver. According to the quran, all soul must test death; Surah 21:35: Every soul must taste of death, and We try you with evil and with good, for ordeal. And unto Us ye will be returned. (Pickthall) Before then, the quran say all prophets of God are human including Jesus; Surah 21:7-8: Before thee, also, the messengers We sent WERE BUT MEN, to whom We granted inspiration: If ye realise this not, ask of those who possess the Message. Nor did We give them bodies that ate no food, nor WERE THEY EXAMPT FROM DEATH. (Yusuf Ali) And the quran say all soul must test death; Surah 21:35: Every SOUL must taste of DEATH, and We try you with evil and with good, for ordeal. And unto Us ye will be returned. (Pickthall) If Muslims say Jesus did not die, they are indirectly saying that Allah lied in quran 21:35. Even a well known Islamic translator of the quran(yusuf Ali) say in his footnote of Surah 19:33: “…Christ was not crucified (S. IV. 157). But those who believe that he never died should ponder over this verse.” (Ali, “The Holy Qur’an”, p.774, f. 2485.) 2 Likes |

thorpido:. This Qur'an could never have been devised by any besides Allah. Rather it is confirmation of what came before it and an elucidation of the Book which contains no doubt from the Lord of all the worlds. Do they say, "He has invented it"? Say: "Then produce a sura like it and call on anyone you can besides Allah if you are telling the truth." (Qur'an, 10:37-38) Verily! It is We(Allah) Who have sent down the Quran to you (O Muhammad SAW) by stages. (Qur'an , 76:23) And this is a Book We have sent down and blessed, so follow it and have fear of Allah so that hopefully you will gain mercy. (Qur'an, 6:155) Haven't the unbelievers considered if this was from other than Allah, they would find within it many contradictions? [Noble Quran 4:82] The Quran is from Allah (God) not Muhammad's story |

Zaikon:where do you get this information that Jesus is coming back to clearify this ? You did not answer my question, the Jews and Christians that have died thinking Jesus was killed before the coming of muhammed, who shall be blame for there unbelieif? Allah or satan? if you answer this question you will notice there are spiritual manipulation going on in the quran. One of the attribute of the true God is Holiness, but the quran say Allah change the face of someone to Jesus, meaning Allah deceive thoes people, surly this is not the acts of Holiness of the true God, it's satan that do such thing. 1 Like |

What proof is there that it was angel gabriel he saw? kinibigdeal: Firstly, Let me take you back to verse 28 of the surah. O you who have believed, indeed the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach al-Masjid al-Haram after this, their [final] year. And if you fear privation, Allah will enrich you from His bounty if He wills. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Wise(Q9,vs28) During the time of prophet Muhammad(SAW), the unbelievers do create mischiefs and harm to the muslims...So in a way to protect themselves, Allah instructed the Muhammad(SAW) and the muslims to take measures and protect themselves Idolators are no longer allowed into Al-Masjid Al-Haram Allah commands His believing servants, who are pure in religion and person, to expel the idolators who are filthy in the religious sense, from Al-Masjid Al-Haram. After the revelation of this Ayah, idolators were no longer allowed to go near the Masjid. This Ayah was revealed in the ninth year of Hijrah. The Messenger of Allah sent `Ali in the company of Abu Bakr that year to publicize to the idolators that no Mushrik will be allowed to perform Hajj after that year, nor a naked person allowed to perform Tawaf around the House. Allah completed this decree, made it a legislative ruling, as well as, a fact of reality. `Abdur-Razzaq recorded that Jabir bin `Abdullah commented on the Ayah, Breaking down the verse ﴿إِنَّمَا الْمُشْرِكُونَ نَجَسٌ فَلاَ يَقْرَبُواْ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَـذَا﴾ (O you who believe! Verily, the Mushrikin(unbelievers, polytheist, wrong doers) are impure. So let them not come near Al-Masjid Al-Haram after this year) "Unless it was a servant or one of the people of Dhimmah.'' Imam Abu `Amr Al-Awza'i said, "Umar bin `Abdul-`Aziz wrote (to his governors) to prevent Jews and Christians from entering the Masjids of Muslims, and he followed his order with Allah's statement, ﴿إِنَّمَا الْمُشْرِكُونَ نَجَسٌ﴾ (Verily, the Mushrikin are impure.) `Ata' said, "All of the Sacred Area ﴿the Haram﴾ is considered a Masjid, for Allah said, ﴿فَلاَ يَقْرَبُواْ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَـذَا﴾ (So let them not come near Al-Masjid Al-Haram (at Makkah) after this year.)'' This Ayah indicates that idolators are impure and that the believers are pure. In the Sahih is the following, «الْمُؤْمِنُ لَا يَنْجُس» (The believer does not become impure.) Allah said, ﴿وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ عَيْلَةً فَسَوْفَ يُغْنِيكُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ﴾ (and if you fear poverty, Allah will enrich you, out of His bounty.) Muhammad bin Ishaq commented, "The people said, `Our markets will be closed, our commerce disrupted, and what we earned will vanish.' So Allah revealed this verse, ﴿وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ عَيْلَةً فَسَوْفَ يُغْنِيكُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ﴾ (and if you fear poverty, Allah will enrich you, out of His bounty), from other resources, ﴿إِن شَآءَ﴾ (if He wills), until, ﴿وَهُمْ صَـغِرُونَ﴾ (. ..and feel themselves subdued.) This Ayah means, `this will be your compensation for the closed markets that you feared would result.' Therefore, Allah compensated them for the losses they incurred because they severed ties with idolators, by the Jizyah they earned from the People of the Book.'' Similar statements were reported from Ibn `Abbas, Mujahid, `Ikrimah, Sa`id bin Jubayr, Qatadah and Ad-Dahhak and others. Allah said, ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ﴾ (Surely, Allah is All-Knowing), in what benefits you, ﴿حَكِيمٌ﴾ (All-Wise), in His orders and prohibitions, for He is All-Perfect in His actions and statements, All-Just in His creations and decisions, Blessed and Hallowed be He. This is why Allah compensated Muslims for their losses by the amount of Jizyah that they took from the people of Dhimmah. |
Re: Nine Important Verse That Muslim Need To Explain To Us by dastranger(m): 6:15pm On Dec 25, 2014 |
kinibigdeal: So in order to reduce mischief, Allah istructed muhammad SAW to subdue the unbelievers........Now to verse 29 Allah said, ﴿قَـتِلُواْ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَلاَ بِالْيَوْمِ الاٌّخِرِ وَلاَ يُحَرِّمُونَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَلاَ يَدِينُونَ دِينَ الْحَقِّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَـبَ حَتَّى يُعْطُواْ الْجِزْيَةَ عَن يَدٍ وَهُمْ صَـغِرُونَ ﴾ (Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth among the People of the Scripture, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.) Therefore, when People of the Scriptures disbelieved in Muhammad , they had no beneficial faith in any Messenger or what the Messengers brought. Rather, they followed their religions because this conformed with their ideas, lusts and the ways of their forefathers, not because they are Allah's Law and religion. Had they been true believers in their religions, that faith would have directed them to believe in Muhammad , because all Prophets gave the good news of Muhammad's advent and commanded them to obey and follow him. Yet when he was sent, they disbelieved in him, even though he is the mightiest of all Messengers. Therefore, they do not follow the religion of earlier Prophets because these religions came from Allah, but because these suit their desires and lusts. Therefore, their claimed faith in an earlier Prophet will not benefit them because they disbelieved in the master, the mightiest, the last and most perfect of all Prophets . Hence Allah's statement, ﴿قَـتِلُواْ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَلاَ بِالْيَوْمِ الاٌّخِرِ وَلاَ يُحَرِّمُونَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَلاَ يَدِينُونَ دِينَ الْحَقِّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَـبَ﴾ (Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth among the People of the Scripture,) This honorable Ayah was revealed with the order to fight the People of the Book, after the pagans were defeated, the people entered Allah's religion in large numbers, and the Arabian Peninsula was secured under the Muslims' control. Allah commanded His Messenger to fight the People of the Scriptures, Jews and Christians, on the ninth year of Hijrah, and he prepared his army to fight the Romans and called the people to Jihad announcing his intent and destination. The Messenger sent his intent to various Arab areas around Al-Madinah to gather forces, and he collected an army of thirty thousand. Some people from Al-Madinah and some hypocrites, in and around it, lagged behind, for that year was a year of drought and intense heat. The Messenger of Allah marched, heading towards Ash-Sham to fight the Romans until he reached Tabuk, where he set camp for about twenty days next to its water resources. He then prayed to Allah for a decision and went back to Al-Madinah because it was a hard year and the people were weak, as we will mention, Allah willing. |
Re: Nine Important Verse That Muslim Need To Explain To Us by dastranger(m): 6:22pm On Dec 25, 2014 |
Continuation of verse 29 Paying Jizyah is a Sign of Kufr and Disgrace Allah said, ﴿حَتَّى يُعْطُواْ الْجِزْيَةَ﴾ (until they pay the Jizyah), if they do not choose to embrace Islam, ﴿عَن يَدٍ﴾ (with willing submission), in defeat and subservience, ﴿وَهُمْ صَـغِرُونَ﴾ (and feel themselves subdued.), disgraced, humiliated and belittled. Therefore, Muslims are not allowed to honor the people of Dhimmah or elevate them above Muslims, for they are miserable, disgraced and humiliated. Muslim recorded from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet said, «لَا تَبْدَءُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى بِالسَّلَامِ، وَإِذَا لَقِيتُمْ أَحَدَهُمْ فِي طَرِيقٍ فَاضْطَرُّوهُ إِلَى أَضْيَقِه» (Do not initiate the Salam to the Jews and Christians, and if you meet any of them in a road, force them to its narrowest alley.) This is why the Leader of the faithful `Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, demanded his well-known conditions be met by the Christians, these conditions that ensured their continued humiliation, degradation and disgrace. The scholars of Hadith narrated from `Abdur-Rahman bin Ghanm Al-Ash`ari that he said, "I recorded for `Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, the terms of the treaty of peace he conducted with the Christians of Ash-Sham: `In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. This is a document to the servant of Allah `Umar, the Leader of the faithful, from the Christians of such and such city. When you (Muslims) came to us we requested safety for ourselves, children, property and followers of our religion. We made a condition on ourselves that we will neither erect in our areas a monastery, church, or a sanctuary for a monk, nor restore any place of worship that needs restoration nor use any of them for the purpose of enmity against Muslims. We will not prevent any Muslim from resting in our churches whether they come by day or night, and we will open the doors ﴿of our houses of worship﴾ for the wayfarer and passerby. Those Muslims who come as guests, will enjoy boarding and food for three days. We will not allow a spy against Muslims into our churches and homes or hide deceit ﴿or betrayal﴾ against Muslims. We will not teach our children the Qur'an, publicize practices of Shirk, invite anyone to Shirk or prevent any of our fellows from embracing Islam, if they choose to do so. We will respect Muslims, move from the places we sit in if they choose to sit in them. We will not imitate their clothing, caps, turbans, sandals, hairstyles, speech, nicknames and title names, or ride on saddles, hang swords on the shoulders, collect weapons of any kind or carry these weapons. We will not encrypt our stamps in Arabic, or sell liquor. We will have the front of our hair cut, wear our customary clothes wherever we are, wear belts around our waist, refrain from erecting crosses on the outside of our churches and demonstrating them and our books in public in Muslim fairways and markets. We will not sound the bells in our churches, except discretely, or raise our voices while reciting our holy books inside our churches in the presence of Muslims, nor raise our voices ﴿with prayer﴾ at our funerals, or light torches in funeral processions in the fairways of Muslims, or their markets. We will not bury our dead next to Muslim dead, or buy servants who were captured by Muslims. We will be guides for Muslims and refrain from breaching their privacy in their homes.' When I gave this document to `Umar, he added to it, `We will not beat any Muslim. These are the conditions that we set against ourselves and followers of our religion in return for safety and protection. If we break any of these promises that we set for your benefit against ourselves, then our Dhimmah (promise of protection) is broken and you are allowed to do with us what you are allowed of people of defiance and rebellion.'''
