(Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth among the People of the Scripture, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.) Therefore, when People of the Scriptures disbelieved in Muhammad , they had no beneficial faith in any Messenger or what the Messengers brought. Rather, they followed their religions because this conformed with their ideas, lusts and the ways of their forefathers, not because they are Allah's Law and religion. Had they been true believers in their religions, that faith would have directed them to believe in Muhammad , because all Prophets gave the good news of Muhammad's advent and commanded them to obey and follow him. Yet when he was sent, they disbelieved in him, even though he is the mightiest of all Messengers. Therefore, they do not follow the religion of earlier Prophets because these religions came from Allah, but because these suit their desires and lusts. Therefore, their claimed faith in an earlier Prophet will not benefit them because they disbelieved in the master, the mightiest, the last and most perfect of all Prophets . Hence Allah's statement,ا
[color=#990000](Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth among the People of the Scripture,) This honorable Ayah was revealed with the order to fight the People of the Book, after the pagans were defeated, the people entered Allah's religion in large numbers, and the Arabian Peninsula was secured under the Muslims' control. Allah commanded His Messenger to fight the People of the Scriptures, Jews and Christians, on the ninth year of Hijrah, and he prepared his army to fight the Romans and called the people to Jihad announcing his intent and destination. The Messenger sent his intent to various Arab areas around Al-Madinah to gather forces, and he collected an army of thirty thousand. Some people from Al-Madinah and some hypocrites, in and around it, lagged behind, for that year was a year of drought and intense heat. The Messenger of Allah marched, heading towards Ash-Sham to fight the Romans until he reached Tabuk, where he set camp for about twenty days next to its water resources. He then prayed to Allah for a decision and went back to Al-Madinah because it was a hard year and the people were weak, as we will mention, Allah willing.

I need scriptures that say the prophets prophesied about Muhammed and directed people to follow him.
Please don't quote bible passages that DO NOT speak about Muhammed to me.John 16 did not speak of Muhammed. The Comforter is NOT muhammed!

Qur'an 4:157
They said (in boast), "we killed christ jesus the son of mary, the messenger of Allah". But they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubt, without(certain) knowledge, but only conjective to follow, for a surety they killed him not.
In these Verses, Allah is talking about the misdeeds of the unbelievers, Read verse 156,158 too..

The Evil Accusation the Jews Uttered Against Maryam and Their Claim that They Killed `Isa

Allah said,

(And because of their (Jews) disbelief and uttering against Maryam a grave false charge.) `Ali bin Abi Talhah said that Ibn `Abbas stated that the Jews accused Maryam of fornication. This is also the saying of As-Suddi, Juwaybir, Muhammad bin Ishaq and several others. This meaning is also apparent in the Ayah, as the Jews accused Maryam and her son of grave accusations: They accused her of fornication and claimed that `Isa was an illegitimate son. Some of them even claimed that she was menstruating while fornicating. May Allah's continued curse be upon them until the Day of Resurrection. The Jews also said,

("We killed Al-Masih, `Isa, son of Maryam, the Messenger of Allah,'') meaning, we killed the person who claimed to be the Messenger of Allah. The Jews only uttered these words in jest and mockery, just as the polytheists said,

(O you to whom the Dhikr (the Qur'an) has been sent down! Verily, you are a mad man!) When Allah sent `Isa with proofs and guidance, the Jews, may Allah's curses, anger, torment and punishment be upon them, envied him because of his prophethood and obvious miracles; curing the blind and leprous and bringing the dead back to life, by Allah's leave. He also used to make the shape of a bird from clay and blow in it, and it became a bird by Allah's leave and flew. `Isa performed other miracles that Allah honored him with, yet the Jews defied and bellied him and tried their best to harm him. Allah's Prophet `Isa could not live in any one city for long and he had to travel often with his mother, peace be upon them. Even so, the Jews were not satisfied, and they went to the king of Damascus at that time, a Greek polytheist who worshipped the stars. They told him that there was a man in Bayt Al-Maqdis misguiding and dividing the people in Jerusalem and stirring unrest among the king's subjects. The king became angry and wrote to his deputy in Jerusalem to arrest the rebel leader, stop him from causing unrest, crucify him and make him wear a crown of thorns. When the king's deputy in Jerusalem received these orders, he went with some Jews to the house that `Isa was residing in, and he was then with twelve, thirteen or seventeen of his companions. That day was a Friday, in the evening. They surrounded `Isa in the house, and when he felt that they would soon enter the house or that he would sooner or later have to leave it, he said to his companions, "Who volunteers to be made to look like me, for which he will be my companion in Paradise'' A young man volunteered, but `Isa thought that he was too young. He asked the question a second and third time, each time the young man volunteering, prompting `Isa to say, "Well then, you will be that man.'' Allah made the young man look exactly like `Isa, while a hole opened in the roof of the house, and `Isa was made to sleep and ascended to heaven while asleep. Allah said,

(And (remember) when Allah said: "O `Isa! I will take you and raise you to Myself.'') When `Isa ascended, those who were in the house came out. When those surrounding the house saw the man who looked like `Isa, they thought that he was `Isa. So they took him at night, crucified him and placed a crown of thorns on his head. The Jews then boasted that they killed `Isa and some Christians accepted their false claim, due to their ignorance and lack of reason. As for those who were in the house with `Isa, they witnessed his ascension to heaven, while the rest thought that the Jews killed `Isa by crucifixion. They even said that Maryam sat under the corpse of the crucified man and cried, and they say that the dead man spoke to her. All this was a test from Allah for His servants out of His wisdom. Allah explained this matter in the Glorious Qur'an which He sent to His honorable Messenger, whom He supported with miracles and clear, unequivocal evidence. Allah is the Most Truthful, and He is the Lord of the worlds Who knows the secrets, what the hearts conceal, the hidden matters in heaven and earth, what has occurred, what will occur, and what would occur if it was decreed. He said,

(but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it appeared as that to them,) referring to the person whom the Jews thought was `Isa. This is why Allah said afterwards,

(and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture.) referring to the Jews who claimed to kill `Isa and the ignorant Christians who believed them. Indeed they are all in confusion, misguidance and bewilderment. This is why Allah said,

(For surely; they killed him not.) meaning they are not sure that `Isa was the one whom they killed. Rather, they are in doubt and confusion over this matter.

(But Allah raised him up unto Himself. And Allah is Ever All-Powerful,) meaning, He is the Almighty, and He is never weak, nor will those who seek refuge in Him ever be subjected to disgrace,

(All-Wise.) in all that He decides and ordains for His creatures. Indeed, Allah's is the clearest wisdom, unequivocal proof and the most glorious authority. Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that Ibn `Abbas said, "Just before Allah raised `Isa to the heavens, `Isa went to his companions, who were twelve inside the house. When he arrived, his hair was dripping water and he said, `There are those among you who will disbelieve in me twelve times after he had believed in me.' He then asked, `Who volunteers that his image appear as mine, and be killed in my place. He will be with me (in Paradise)' One of the youngest ones among them volunteered and `Isa asked him to sit down. `Isa again asked for a volunteer, and the young man kept volunteering and `Isa asking him to sit down. Then the young man volunteered again and `Isa said, `You will be that man,' and the resemblance of `Isa was cast over that man while `Isa ascended to heaven from a hole in the house. When the Jews came looking for `Isa, they found that young man and crucified him. Some of `Isa's followers disbelieved in him twelve times after they had believed in him. They then divided into three groups. One group, Al-Ya`qubiyyah (Jacobites), said, `Allah remained with us as long as He willed and then ascended to heaven.' Another group, An-Nasturiyyah (Nestorians), said, `The son of Allah was with us as long as he willed and Allah took him to heaven.' Another group, Muslims, said, `The servant and Messenger of Allah remained with us as long as Allah willed, and Allah then took him to Him.' The two disbelieving groups cooperated against the Muslim group and they killed them. Ever since that happened, Islam was then veiled until Allah sent Muhammad .'' This statement has an authentic chain of narration leading to Ibn `Abbas, and An-Nasa'i narrated it through Abu Kurayb who reported it from Abu Mu`awiyah. Many among the Salaf stated that `Isa asked if someone would volunteer for his appearance to be cast over him, and that he will be killed instead of `Isa, for which he would be his companion in Paradise.

Qur'an 5:47

Let the people of the Gospel judge by what allah hath revealed therein. If any do fail to judge by(the light of) what allah revealed, they are (no longer better than) those who rebel

Read from verse 46 to 48..............

Allah Mentions `Isa(Jesus) and Praises the Injil (Bible)

Allah said,

(and We sent...) meaning, We sent

(in their footsteps) meaning the Prophets of the Children of Israel,

(`Isa, son of Maryam, confirming the Tawrah (Torah) that had come before him,) meaning, he believed in it and ruled by it.

(and We gave him the Injil(Bible), in which was guidance and light) a guidance that directs to the truth and a light that removes the doubts and solves disputes,

(and confirmation of the Tawrah(Torah) that had come before it,) meaning, he adhered to the Tawrah, except for the few instances that clarified the truth where the Children of Israel differed. Allah states in another Ayah that `Isa said to the Children of Israel,

(. ..and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you.) So the scholars say that the Injil(Bible) abrogated some of the rulings of the Tawrah. Allah's statement,

(a guidance and an admonition for those who have Taqwa.) means, We made the Injil(bible) guidance and an admonition that prohibits committing sins and errors, for those who have Taqwa of Allah and fear His warning and torment. Allah said next,

(Let the people of the Injil judge by what Allah has revealed therein.) meaning, so that He judges the people of the Injil(bible) by it in their time. Or, the Ayah means, so that they believe in all that is in it and adhere to all its commands, including the good news about the coming of Muhammad and the command to believe in and follow him when he is sent. Allah said in other Ayat,

(Say "O People of the Scripture! You have nothing (guidance) until you act according to the Tawrah(torah), the Injil(Bible), and what has been sent down to you from your Lord.'') and,

(Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write whom they find written with them in the Tawrah(Torah)...) until,

(...successful.) Here, Allah said,

(And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the rebellious.) meaning, the rebellious and disobedient of Allah who prefer falsehood and abandon truth. We mentioned before that this Ayah was revealed about the Christians, and this is evident from the context of the Ayah.

(48. And We have sent down to you the Book (this Qur'an) in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it and Muhayminan over it (old Scriptures). So judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging away from the truth that has come to you. To each among you, We have prescribed a law and a clear way. If Allah willed, He would have made you one nation, but that (He) may test you in what He has given you; so compete in good deeds. The return of you (all) is to Allah; then He will inform you about that in which you used to differ.) (49. And so judge between them by what Allah has revealed and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they turn you far away from some of that which Allah has sent down to you. And if they turn away, then know that Allah's will is to punish them for some sins of theirs. And truly, most men are rebellious. (50. Do they then seek the judgement of (the days of) ignorance And who is better in judgement than Allah for a people who have firm faith.)

This Qur'an could never have been devised by any besides Allah. Rather it is confirmation of what came before it and an elucidation of the Book which contains no doubt from the Lord of all the worlds. Do they say, "He has invented it"? Say: "Then produce a sura like it and call on anyone you can besides Allah if you are telling the truth."
(Qur'an, 10:37-38)

Verily! It is We(Allah) Who have sent down the Quran to you (O Muhammad SAW) by stages.
(Qur'an , 76:23)

And this is a Book We have sent down and blessed, so follow it and have fear of Allah so that hopefully you will gain mercy. (Qur'an, 6:155)

Haven't the unbelievers considered if this was from other than Allah, they would find within it many contradictions?
[Noble Quran 4:82]

The Quran is from Allah (God) not Muhammad's story

Salam alaykum
The quran is not from the one true God,

Ponder this;

When you say Islam is true what you are actually saying is that your god sent the great "messenger" ISA, who was born of a virgin woman and performed countless miracles including giving life to clay (in your book), in the holy bible he gave life to the dead, walked on water etc.
And when the Jews/ pharisees get him and take him to his death, your god then tricks the Jews and Romans to believe that ISA was crucified (check this it is in your quran: for he was not crucified but it was made to them as if he was) and there by starting the great way of life/ religion which has helped countless people find true peace.

Do you see the paradox here. What u claim here is that your god could not preserve his own words in the injeel/bible (600 years after Jesus). And u expect the Koran to be preserved 1400years after Mohammed. This defies common sense.

After this your "all knowing" god then sends Mohammed to fight the Jews and Christians (a religion he helped create).

How can u believe this. How can your "all knowing" god create a religion and then send another man, Mohammed who performed no miracles to give commands contrary to most of his early "messenger" ISA.

This makes no sense.
Your Islam is just a mixture of scriptures from the torah, gnostics "christains" and paganism(worship of the moon good, the evidence is still on your mosques- the crescent moon and star).

If you look at it objectively you will see so many of the circumstantial "revelations" came at the whims of Mohammed's desires. How do u even explain the numerous abrogations(why does you god change his mind so often) and the fact that many western Muslims now preach that the Quran 's message should be reinterpreted because of those embarrassing verses.

crucify him, but it was made to seem so to them. Those who argue

God raised him [Jesus] up to Himself. God is Almighty, All-Wise.
(Surat An-Nisa', 4:158)
“He (the son of Mary) shall be a known sign of the Hour; so have no
doubt concerning it and follow Me.” (Quran 43:61)
His appearance will be followed by only two or three other
unmistakable portents. Among these are the appearance of the beast[4],
the wafting of the believers from the earth[5], leaving only disbelievers
behind, and the rising of the sun from the west.[6]
The ten major signs, among which is the second coming of Jesus,
are summarized in one hadeeth:[7]
“The Hour will not come until you see ten signs: the smoke; the False
Messiah; the Beast; the sun rising from the West; the descent of Jesus
son of Mary; the Gog and Magog; and three tremors - one in the
East, one in the West, and one in Arabia, at the end of which fire will
burst forth from the direction of Aden and drive people to the place
of their final assembly.” [/b]

That single verse only mentioned some part of the miracles of Jesus, there re other verses that mentioned his miracles...another example is...“When the disciples said: O Jesus, son of Mary! Is your Lord able to send down for us a table spread with food from heaven? He said: Observe your duty to God, if ye are true believers. They said: We desire to eat of it and our hearts be at rest, and that We may know that you have spoken truth to us, and that We may be witnesses thereof. Jesus, son of Mary, said: 'O God, our Lord, send down for us a Table laden with food out of heaven, that shall be for us a recurring festival, the first and last of us, and a miracle from You. And provide us our sustenance, for You are the best of providers!” (Quran 5:112-114)

"When a document is sealed, it is complete, and there can be no further addition. Allah declares the Quran as the seal of books(the torah, bible, psalms and others), and muhammad as the seal of prophets and vows to protect it..

Ifeann:
After this your "all knowing" God then sends Mohammed to fight the Jews and Christians (a religion he helped create).

Allah did not send Muhammad to fight them but to call them to the right path..It was only when unrest, mischief, bully, oppression and humiliation were being inflicted on them that Allah instructed Muhammad and the muslims had to fight back.

Ifeann:
How can u believe this. How can your "all knowing" God create a religion and then send another man, Mohammed who performed no miracles to give commands contrary to most of his early "messenger" ISA.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 2, Book 13, Number 55:

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

Once in the lifetime of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) the people were afflicted with drought (famine). While the Prophet was delivering the Khutba on a Friday, a Bedouin stood up and said, "O, Allah's Apostle! Our possessions are being destroyed and the children are hungry; Please invoke Allah (for rain)". So the Prophet raised his hands. At that time there was not a trace of cloud in the sky. By Him in Whose Hands my soul is as soon as he lowered his hands, clouds gathered like mountains, and before he got down from the pulpit, I saw the rain falling on the beard of the Prophet. It rained that day, the next day, the third day, the fourth day till the next Friday. The same Bedouin or another man stood up and said, "O Allah's Apostle! The houses have collapsed, our possessions and livestock have been drowned; Please invoke Allah (to protect us)". So the Prophet I raised both his hands and said, "O Allah! Round about us and not on us". So, in whatever direction he pointed with his hands, the clouds dispersed and cleared away, and Medina's (sky) became clear as a hole in between the clouds. The valley of Qanat remained flooded, for one month, none came from outside but talked about the abundant rain
.
Another miracle is splitting of the moon “The hour has drawn near and the moon has split asunder. And if they see a sign they turn away, saying, ‘Just more trickery!’ They call it deceit and follow their fancies, while all things are pre-determined.” (surat al-Qamar, 54, v.1-3)...And there re other miracles
Ifeann:
This makes no sense.
Your Islam is just a mixture of scriptures from the torah, gnostics "christains" and paganism(worship of the moon good, the evidence is still on your mosques- the crescent moon and star).

Its just a symbol the muslim countries uses then just like you christians use cross to symbolise jesus crucification..."DO NOT WORSHIP THE SUN OR THE MOON, BUT WORSHIP ALLAH WHO CREATED THEM." (Qur'an 41:37),
They ask you about the new moons. Say: These are signs to mark fixed periods of time for mankind and for the pilgrimage (Qur'ân 2:189)
So islam is not idolatory

Ifeann:

How do u even explain the numerous abrogations(why does you god change his mind so often) and the fact that many western Muslims now preach that the Quran 's message should be reinterpreted because of those embarrassing verses.
In every nation, prophets were sent to them to guide them with different scriptures all preaching the same oneness of God......God is not changing His mind. Where is the proof that muslims re now clamouring that the Quran be reviewed......Bring proofs not just talks my sister....And note that religion is not something you can just analyse on your own....you need to take a lot of researches my dear

That is simply a question of belief and a religion propagated.Muhammed was said to have seen an angel who revealed the quran(what proof)?
What proof is there that it was angel gabriel he saw?
Again, the complexity of the Quran is no proof of it's authenticity.Do you realise there are other religious books that have remained the same?Do you know there are books- occultic books that are complex?

See it's still not enough PROOF.

There re other books that has remained the same ? give me an example pls...............Angel Gabriel(Jibril) is the only one that brings inspiration................

Imam Ahmad recorded that `A'ishah said: The first thing that began happening with the Messenger of Allah from the revelation was dreams that he would see in his sleep that would come true. He would not see any dream except that it would come true just like the (clearness of) the daybreak in the morning. Then seclusion became beloved to him. So, he used to go to the cave of Hira' and devote himself to worship there for a number of nights, and he would bring provisions for that. Then he would return to Khadijah and replenish his provisions for a similar number of nights. This continued until the revelation suddenly came to him while he was in the cave of Hira'. The angel came to him while he was in the cave and said, "Read!'' The Messenger of Allah said,

«فَقُلْتُ: مَا أَنَا بِقَارِىء»

(I replied: "I am not one who reads.) Then he said, "So he (the angel) seized me and pressed me until I could no longer bear it. Then he released me and said: `Read!' So I replied: `I am not one who reads.' So, he pressed me a second time until I could no longer bear it. Then he released me and said:

﴿اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِى خَلَقَ ﴾

(Read in the Name of your Lord who has created.) until he reached the Ayah,

(That which he knew not. )'' So he returned with them (those Ayat) and with his heart trembling until he came (home) to Khadijah, and he said,

«زَمِّلُونِي زَمِّلُونِي»

(Wrap me up, wrap me up!) So they wrapped him up until his fear went away. After that he told Khadijah everything that had happened (and said),

«قَدْ خَشِيتُ عَلَى نَفْسِي»

(I fear that something may happen to me.) Khadijah replied, "Never! By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You keep good relations with your relatives, you speak the truth, you help the poor and the destitute, you serve your guests generously, and you help the deserving, calamity afflicted people.'' Khadijah then accompanied him to her cousin Waraqah bin Nawfal bin Asad bin `Abdul-`Uzza bin Qusay, who, during the period of ignorance became a Christian and used to scribe the Scriptures in Arabic. He would write from the Injil in Hebrew as much as Allah willed for him to write. He was an old man and had lost his eyesight. Khadijah said to him, "O my cousin! Listen to the story of your nephew.'' Waraqah asked, "O my nephew! What have you seen'' Allah's Messenger described what he saw. Waraqah said, "This is An-Namus whom Allah had sent to Musa. I wish I was young and could live until the time when your people would drive you out.'' Allah's Messenger asked,

«أَوَ مُخْرِجِيَّ هُمْ؟»

(Will they drive me out) Waraqah replied in the affirmative and said, "Anyone who came with something similar to what you have brought, was treated with hostility and enmity; and if I should remain alive till that day then I would firmly support you.'' But Waraqah did not remain. He died and the revelation paused until Allah's Messenger became sad according to what we were told. Due to this grief he set out a number of times with the intent of throwing himself from the mountain tops. However, every time he would reach the peak of a mountain to throw himself from it, Jibril would appear to him and say, "O Muhammad! You are truly the Messenger of Allah!'' Therefore, his worry would be eased, his soul would be settled and he would return (down from the mountain). Then, when the revelation did not come again for a long time, he set out as he had done before. So when he reached the peak of the mountain, Jibril appeared to him again and said to him the same as he had said before.'' This Hadith has been recorded in the Two Sahihs by way of Az-Zuhri. We have already discussed this Hadith's chain of narration, its text and its meanings at length in the beginning of our explanation of Sahih Al-Bukhari. Therefore, whoever would like to read it, it is researched there, and all praise and blessings are due to Allah. So the first thing that was revealed of the Qur'an were these noble and blessed Ayat. They are the first mercy that Allah bestowed upon His servants and the first bounty that Allah favored them with.

most Muslims believe Jesus did not die, he will come back and die again.

Where in the quran that it's stated that Jesus will come and die again?
Infacte quran5:117 record the following conversation between Jesus and Allah ;
After Jesus ascension;

Surah5:117
I was a witness to what they did as
long as I remained among them, and
when You did cause me to DIE, You
were the watcher over them. You are
the witness of all things. (W. Khan)

Study the wordings of this Qur’anic
passage very carefully. This Qur’anic
verse clearly shows that now in presence of Allah after his ascension to heaven, Jesus spoke of his death as already having occurred.

Allah did not send Muhammad to fight them but to call them to the right path..It was only when unrest, mischief, bully, oppression and humiliation were being inflicted on them that Allah instructed Muhammad and the muslims had to fight back.

In every nation, prophets were sent to them to guide them with different scriptures all preaching the same oneness of God......God is not changing His mind. Where is the proof that muslims re now clamouring that the Quran be reviewed......Bring proofs not just talks my sister....And note that religion is not something you can just analyse on your own....you need to take a lot of researches my dear

(Hey malvisguy212 pls take a read at another Muslim claiming miracles. )

I mean no offence but lmao.
Lol. These are so so easy to refute, I won't even bother. Apparently u depend only on what ur imam tells you. Lol I won't bother. How can u quote ur hadiths to support ur argument when I declear that even your quran is falsehood.

but there is one I will address, the miracles.
Do you know why I and many Muslims know that Mohammed performed NO/ZERO miracles, its because your Koran says so.
Read on,

Surah 17:59: “And We refrain from sending the Signs, only because the men of former generations treated them as false: We sent the she-camel to the Thamud to open their eyes, but they treated her wrongfully: We only send the Signs by way of terror (and warning from evil).” (Yusuf Ali)
As we can see, the word “Sign” in this verse denotes the visible and clearly observable miracle of Allah. The Sign or Miracle that Allah sent in this specific instant was a she-camel that was visible to the people of Thamud. The miracle was sent to open their eyes but they treated
the she-camel wrongly and killed her. After this incident, Allah decided not to send any more miracles in the future. What can we conclude by
the above words of Allah in Surah 17:59?
1. It shows that Allah has “stopped sending miracles.” This means that long before the coming of Muhammad, Allah has decided to stop
sending miracles. Hence, if the Qur’an is true, then Muhammad could
not have performed any miracle. Therefore, whenever you Muslims proudly
claim that their Prophet performed many miracles, you are at the
same instant admitting that Allah lied in Surah 17:59.

More than twenty Qur’anic passages show that whenever Muhammad
was asked by his contemporaries to perform a single miracle, he either
remained silent or said that he could not do so because he was no
more than just an ordinary human being. The most explicit of these
passages is in
Surah 17:90-93:
They said, “We will not believe you unless you cause a spring to
gush out of the ground. “Or unless you own a garden of date palms
and grapes, with rivers running through it. “Or unless you cause
masses from the sky, as you claimed, to fall on us. Or unless you
bring GOD and the angels before our eyes. “Or unless you own a
luxurious mansion, or unless you climb into the sky. Even if you do climb, we will not believe unless you bring a book that we can
read.” Say, “Glory be to my Lord. AM I ANY MORE THAN A HUMAN MESSENGER?” (Khalifa)

The one I find the funniest is when u say that he split the moon in half , usually a challenge to Moses splitting the red sea.
If he split the moon in half why isn't this astronomical event not recorded by other civilisations at that time.
??
Why did the narrations say he performed miracles is because as time passed more embellishment was added to the tales of his deeds. Research has been done on this. Never say this again because you clearly contradict your quran.

This has to be the greatest falsehood and manipulation I have seen.Jesus will come back as a muslim and follow Islamic traditions. Why didn't he do it when he was here earlier? He will die and be buried beside Muhammed's grave?
This has to be one of the greatest works of fiction.
lol... more

more and more questions will make us deviate from the purpose of this thread..... Jesus was not a Christian.... it was after Jesus had long gone that idolators termed people of the book as Christians.... Jesus never claimed to establish christianity...... he only preached oneness of God

You see the problem Muslims have with the Bible is that it cannot be presented in its original form (Aramaic)....instead it has bn edited and translated by man to English wch is wy Muslim questions its originality?
.
Pls mature comments, no mockery

Therefore will the Lord himself give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and shall bring forth a son, and call his name Emmanuel, which being God with us(Isaiah 7:14).This was a prophecy by Prophet Isaiah concerning Jesus.
This looks like it
thorpido:

The LORD said unto my Lord, sit thou at my right hand until I make thy enemies thy footstool..(Psalm 110:1)This was a prophecy by King David that also speaks about the divinity of Jesus Christ.

But this doesn't look like

It's the understanding that is missing and that is why muslims have an issue with Christianity.Jesus indeed did not establish any religion.Christianity is not a religion.Jesus came to give eternal life.No religion could give eternal life.Muhammed could not give it.He didn't have it.Jesus gave it and He said this commandment I receive of My Father.
As the Father hath life in Himself,so has He given life to the Son...(John 5:26)

To say Jesus was not a Christian doesn't make sense.Like I said,a will is executed after the owner of the will dies.He didn't establish a religion but brought eternal life which none of the prophets had. After He left the earth, the people who saw those who followed Him(you call them idolators) called them Christians-which means Christ-like.It was a description. It was not the name of any religion.

A lack of understanding is the reason why muslims argue against this thing.Christianity is not a religion(I know this statement is too big to comprehend with a religious mind).
I hope you can understand it.

If Muhammed said the bible is corrupted,he should have asked his lord to provide the original as proof. How come the Islamic world cannot provide the original Injeel?

The second scripture was a prophecy by David.Jesus interestingly raised the issue later with the Jews,He said if you say I'm a descendant of David, why then does David in prophecy call me Lord?
See Mathew 22:42-43

Ok good you agreed Jesus never claimed to establish christianity and not from God as well, wch means in other words you're following what was established(christianity) by men like you.

.
i don't understand what you meant by eternal life here
