Since your SOP is addressed to the VO it is normal for the VO to retain it. Since you have the copy you don't need to panick just refire. Good luck kennybravo1: |

Akin26:I think you and @WESTERNCR should first let's have the documents you submitted and also the timeframe between your submission and delayed period. That is the way it is done. Your info helps and you will definitely get help here. |

Compliment of the season y'all. Glory be to God for the good news of medicals and Trvs. I wish you guys all the best. As for the rest of us waiting on the Lord for good news, let's take a chill pill, we will all be given visa. I applied for a one year pilot training study visa on the 18th of November, I want to ask those that have applied for a year PG program and have been granted visa this question, how many years visa will be given to those going for a year course and are we eligible to work as other undergraduate and diploma student? |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by myownlife(m): 10:04pm On Dec 26, 2014 |
Akin26:Anyway, I expected you to have read the previous thread before this (part 6) and also to have at least started this from the beginning. From your list, SOP (statement of purpose) /LOE (Letter of explanation) is missing. You are expected to harmonise/defend all your document and intention in words to convince the VO that you are a genuine student. This is necessary because trv is granted without physical interviews. So all you need to when you fire back or that you should have do is to address the refusal reason in doc and with convincing and provable explanation that must make sense without contradiction. Samples of the trv winning SOP are flying around and @pchax SOP link is even on about 4 or 5pages backwards. Best of luck bro. 1 Like |

What's the deal with sop/loe? Is it now compulsory to submit it? because wen I was applying I neva saw the need for it, heck it wasn't even stated in the list of documents at all. Police report or any other kind of school result too wasn't required. Or is it just for people applying by paper? anyway I applied since july and hav been in Canada since september ending, university of new brunswick, fredericton. There anybody coming this direction? As for those facing delay in call for passport submission after medical, I also faced the same back wen I applied.the most annoying thing was dat dey neva replied all the mails I sent them.and even wen dey eventually called me to drop passport can u imagine that d visa started counting frm d 29th of august, immediately after my medical result was uploaded but they called me to drop my passport on the 15th September? My point is u most likely will get the visa don't be worried as long as u passed the medical. Just keep ur supervisor/sch up to date abt d challenges u r facing wit d application and try to find out the least possible time u can resume. Don't worry abt d registration deadline, u can always pay a late registration fee and register much later. |
