The truth is that I laughed in some places and almost wept for you in some places (broken plate applied to skin?) but all in all I can see that this is a serious matter and that you are very desperate.

So this is my advice for you.


Your skin is naturally black because of melanocytes. These are the cells that colour your skin and make you the colour that you are. These are also the cells you 'kill' when you start bleaching. Using all those gamut of creams has caused severe damage to your melanocytes and has affected your self esteem so much that you cover your body to prevent others from seeing it. Tragically, this behaviour of yours worsened your situation without your knowing because the Sun( and not artificial fire or burning your hand) would have been your saving grace.

The sun(any kind of sunlight but afternoon sun is better in this matter), is what will reactivate and multiply your damaged melanocytes. But because of the years you have stayed with this problem, it might take longer.

This is what you will do.

1. Stop ALL creams immediately. Stop everything.

2. Stop googling. Googling things does not make you a specialist on something , it just gives you a little knowledge. No matter how much you google you cam never become a dermatologist. Take it from me.

3. Your soap for the next one year will be dudu osun only. Dudu osun works in that it will help rejuvenate your melanocytes and take you back to your normal colour(this is why ladies that bleach hate it so much ).

4. Your pomade/cream for the rest of your life will be Vaseline petroleum jelly only. This protects your skin from the hazards that bleaching would have exposed it to. It is also harmless to your body. Let me explain. The bleaching creams you have been using have not only affected your skin but have been absorbed by the skin and affected other organs as well especially your kidneys. Dont be afraid, the treatment for that is simply to stop the creams like you are going to do and take a good amount of water. Vaseline will put a stop to the damage as well as help your skin retain water again.

5. Finally the hard part. You need to expose your skin. Sunlight will reactivate your melanocytes and repair your skin. Covering it up with long sleeves is what has been delaying the darkening process. Unfortunately facial skin is more delicate than body skin so the face might take longer to heal but the rest of your body should return to normal in about 2years time. So you better work on getting your self esteem back. Realise that people only laugh for a moment then move on to other things. The more you expose your skin the quicker it will heal.




And for those people who bleach their skin, this serves as a lesson for you. Boy or girl, don't do it. It usually ends badly on the long run.

Maybe instead of all of a sudden exposing your arms, try rolling up your sleeves a little at a time so people around you are aware of your skin discoloration. Don't forget to document your experiences in pictures, etc. Share your experience online so people know the dangers of skin bleaching. Good luck.

Vitiligo and bleached skin is not the same thing. In vitiligo the person has an absence of melanin from birth. Sadly, nothing much can be done about it. A person with vitiligo should not expose himself to direct sunlight especially afternoon sun as the melanin that protects your skin from the sun's rays are absent. This can lead to skin cancer. A tanning cream will be better with this condition.

I just don't understand why this Op cannot exercise some patience. 5minsmadmess has taken his time to explain your situation and also profer a solution but you are not ready to take a step by step procedure. Haven't you learnt anything at all from your experience?. You just wanna use anything recommended without carrying your own research. BE PATIENT dude!! Urgh.

You didn't become white overnight, so why would you wanna become dark overnight. For your own good, you better stop all these so called recommended products and stick with 5minsmadness posts. Also I have to join my voice along with others in warning you not to stand in hot sun deliberately because you want to get your skin black. Morning sun provides vitamin d which is good for skin nd other stuff in your body but the afternoon sun does stimulate melanocyte growth. That doesn't mean you should carry chair to the middle of the field and sit down under the hot sun for hours.
Simple exposure of the skim and going about your normal duties will be enough.

tanx i have really learned much 4rm u, if i tell u dat for straight 5 days now i have been sitting ontop of moulded blocks located at our backyard wen ever d sun comes up, i ll jst sit dere for hours, in 3 of d 5 days i ll apply shea butter to my muscle bcus i head it attracts d sun & increases melanin production & it ll make d skin dark, datz wat i have been doing for sum dats now

If u are very ready, I will advice you to see a trusted dermatologist to correct the issue! And you will get your skin back , or almost.. Try laserderm clinic
