Ohaneze isn't a political group. As you can read in the article, adopting a Presidential candidate was never part of the agenda.
Iwuanayanwu just brought it up from no where.
I laugh at those who dream of Igbos voting for Buhari.
you are actually the one getting laughed at. GEJ's base is gradually abandoning him and you are here saying trash. Do you know the kind of momentum a statement by ohanaeze endorsing GEJ would cause? I think they are just trying not to spell it out to him yet that they no longer buy his "azikiwe" tactics.

Igbos don't need a statement from Ohaneze to vote GEJ, you must be delusional to think that.
Ohaneze isn't a political group and have no business endorsing anyone.
By the way, I thought you guys say Igbo votes aren't needed, why all the fuss?
You better stick to your former calculations instead of fantasizing about some imaginary votes from Igbos.
You will be shocked.

The aim is to stop the magical 95% Turn out in the South East! Jonathan will win South East anyway, but the margin of the win matters! Remember Buhari is aiming at Landslide and not a close contest!

igbo votes aren't needed thesame way they aren't needed in nigeria's politics, they are the ones that need nigeria that's why their mentality is changing as they can now see that every other nigerian as join a moving train that might leave them behind.

The exact thing Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka said....That it is only during elections that Jonathan always remembers he bears Ebele and Azikiwe and after he will drop the names

It would have been a different case if Jonathan had performed resoundingly in Igboland.....He would have merited the adoption he is looking for but a situation whereby even the Man of God mentioned several federal roads which are in dilapidated situation calls for serious circumspection by Ohanaeze before confering any blanket endorsement on him

Shut up and face your business.
If Igbos aren't needed, then stop bothering yourself about them.
Keep fixating on Igbos while you aren't even sure of winning your own region for Buhari.

I concur with you

APC should do everything humanly possible to ensure that only the ACTUAL votes cast are returned most especially in the South East and South South

No one says GEJ will not win in those two regions but it must be with actual votes and not with allocated figures via landslide rigging that they are banking on

While at it, also make sure cows, goats, guinea fowls and children do not vote in the north.
Corp members should not be killed while preventing that from happening.
Anyway soldiers will be on ground to shoot at sight.

pls who understands this?

For accuracies sake, this is from the book of Daniel chapter 5;

25 “This is the inscription that was written:

mene, mene, tekel, parsin

26 “Here is what these words mean:

Mene[e]: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.

27 Tekel[f]: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.

28 Peres[g]: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”

Jesus on the cross uttered these words...
Mark 15:34
And at the ninth hour, Jesus shouted in a loud voice, "Eloi Eloi lama sabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

you're correct! I expect the votes from the SS and SE to be in the ratio of 6:4 in favour of Jonathan. Any attempt to rig in these regions must be resisted.

GEJ days are numbered
He is just living on borrowed time
You can see it in his actions
That's why he keeps moving from churches to churches to get the christian endorsement.

But, he has failed because we can see through him
He is a fraud
He has allows his cronies to loot this nation and we as a nation will stop that on Feb 14

We are getting there... Soon, only Bayelsans would be left for this man to lean on. He's done himself too much harm.

Very little work done and enormous damages inflicted on the psyche of his people. Always banking on religion and ethnicity to score political points, and now the ruse isn't selling anymore.

Indeed, the chicken has come home to roost!!

Oh please, no organisation can ever claim to be the mouthpiece of the whole Igbo tribe.

Even if Igbo are disappointed with GEJ it does not translate into confidence or trust in Buhari or APC.

Don't mind them, just few weeks to go, I'm surprise the unanticipated love from those that never wish us well, They thought they can hoodwink the Igbos to achieve their selfish ambitions. So APC when you where selecting your P and VP you never consider our voting block? You plans to divide or weaken our voting strenght will not work. When campaign start our leaders know how to moblize our people in every nooks and crannies of this country.

God bless them...he doesn't deserve any honour. He is insulted everywhere he goes for his ineptitude and corruption, igbos cannot bring themselves down to that level because of the promise of portage (second Niger bridge) that was he couldn't serve after five whole years...

Meanwhile, second Niger bridge is a must for any right thinking government. If Mr President was sincere, he would have done it like 4 years ago.

With or without him, it should be completed this year or the eastern states and delta collaborate and get a foreign investor to construct one and shame the non executive President.

First time a similar piece of news broke out, they said oh this is a small group. Who knows them? They were planted by APC.

Ok. Now Ohanaeze has said no GEJ 2015 as well. The excuse now is Igbos don't need Ohanaeze's recommendation or adoption.

GMB needs all Ndi-Igbos and their socio-cultural groups' endorsement.

The era of 95% votes as recorded (whether real or not) in 2011 for PDP is over.

By the way, I hope Ohanaeze is not eyeing the N21Billion.

GMB for President 2015.

One thing is expected from the month before any election is the silence, the very misleading mutters when cheque are exchanged and the account balance.

We have heard on nairaland how the focus of Buhari campaign have shifted to Ndiigbo, not becos he stands a chance of even 1% of igbo vote but for the propaganda benefit in attempt to persuade non-igbo votes.

Buhari has failed and destined to fail in Feb 2015.

1. The non-committal position of Ohaneze towards the re-election of GEJ is yet another confirmation that things have really changed for the WORST for PDP and GEJ. Compare this stance of Ohaneze and the UNANIMOUS support GEJ got from almost all the leaders and people of the SE region in 2011.

2. Another clear sign that GEJ's re-election dream is hitting the rocks emerged from Kaduna a few days a go, when his re-election campaign vehicles were left in Kaduna for days because no northern driver wanted to have anything to do with them; compare and contrast this with 2011, when Kwankwaso, late Yakuwa, Sule Lamido, Wamako, Nyako and other northern governors each provided hundreds of vehicles, drivers and active campaigners for the election of the clueless, who turns out to be such a big disappointment for all.

3. There is also the New Year message of Rev Father Mbaka of Enugu; if there are some DUMB supporters of GEJ who still think the people of SE would vote for GEJ as overwhelmingly as they did in the 2011, then such dumb people should just watch the Enugu priest's video, listen to his clear and poignant message and, more importantly, see the cheering of the crowd. Again, compare and contrast that atmosphere in a key SE state with what it was in 2011.

LOL, greed, too many egos and money thrown into the middle; what will you expect if not in- fighting - and that unfortunately will continue to be their undoing.

Meanwhile, just wait and see; GEJ only has to throw in a little more cash and viola - Bob's your uncle.
