That Rooney/Mata argument no be for here o, Mata has proven to be better than Rooney in terms of control and passes infact I'm always rest assured whenever a ball either long or short is coming towards Mata, that apart Mata doesn't play the make eno spoil for my hand football. In the last 5 matches, the edges Rooney has over Mata are goals, occasionally long ball and of course his Captain band.

That is why you have to commend Rooney. Moreoever, Rooney was to maitain position in midfiled and not in final third. Gaal even changed the formation with Mata's introduction.
