Most of the ones living in Futa are Fulbe by culture now. This is the case for the Sarakolle or Soninke and also for the Maninka that have lived there for a long time.

Where sadly the larger ethnic group (in this case us Fulbe) absorbs the smaller groups in the region and often the smaller groups lose their culture/sub-culture. Well I guess it's better than them becoming Westernised. I don't mind if an African culture loses its culture to another African culture.
