FYI..do not misunderstand the gathering of prostitutes to hospitality industry. Places as Calabar and Akwaibom are the real and genuine place for that.

Onitsha has a divers economy from industries to commerce and booming hospitality that comes with malls and 5 star/entertainment center, oil and gas etc. The city has the highest number of banks east of the niger and those and other professionals alike constitute very large corporate society in the city.

Again the only 5 star facilities in the East are the Agulu resort, Raddison blu Onitsha and Nike lake resort.

Not really. Most of those inner village roads have dual drainages and single sometimes. Only few are wiyhout drainages. Why I will not condemn it much is because village roads are like that in most parts of the world. Most of those condemning the roads are foing so because they support Jonathan and hence against Okorocha. Most federal roads do not even have drainages.

by now you should know I don't care about buhari and Jonathan issues as I hardly comment about them so would not be dragged into any argument concerning them..i am looking at the roads pic posted and from the roads I saw when I travelled there are lots of question marks..that some federal roads do not have drainages does not mean the state govt have to follow suit..we know our terrain and what obtains..try build a road around ihugbe axis without drainages and see how long it would last..another thing to look out is quality of asphalt..i agree that some inner village roads might have traffic hence quality of asphalt might be lower.
