Karleb: No such thing. Any app claiming to boost your internet is just a placebo. Even the apps on play store give a disclaimer to that effect. 1 Like |

FOR THOSE THAT USE ADAWAY. it's a great app that helps in blocking all those internet ads that hijack your browsing session. But the basic block list was made for specific websites outside Africa. Attached is my block list complied over the span of 5 months.download it, then go to the " your list" option of the app. Click on menu, select import list, navigate to the downloaded file and import it.

Kash007:INSUFFICIENT STORAGE SPACE/STORAGE RUNNING OUT ISSUES Its simply because of logs and cache files written every time by most used apps on your phone and unless you clear them as often as possible, you will continue to experience the hiccup. one of the requirements is that your phone must be rooted as most of these files are in the root of your device. One of the apps that is needed is ROOT EXPLORER, just download from Google play and once you have it, Holla at me. |

IMEI Replacement Method This method involves the use of MTK droid tools and is only applicable when your SIM cards are detected but IMEI is invalid or null. To do this: 1. Download MTK droid tools 2. Download PdaNet 3. Enable USB debugging on the phone then connect it to the PC (don't enable mass storage) 4. Install PdaNet on the PC with the phone connected; you should get a message saying drivers installed successfully. 5. Extract then launch MTK droid tools on the PC (still with phone connected to PC) 6. MTK droid tools should detect and display your phones details 7. Click on IMEI/NVRAM 8. Supply the IMEI(s) then click replace 9. Restart your phone if it isn't automatically restarted 10. Your IMEI issue should have been resolved NVRAM Restore Method * Note that you need a working phone of the same model to backup NVRAM first 1. Download MTK droid tools 2. Download PdaNet 3. Enable USB debugging on the GOOD phone then connect it to the PC (don't enable mass storage) 4. Install PdaNet on the PC with the phone connected; you should get a message saying drivers installed successfully. 5. Extract then launch MTK droid tools on the PC (still with phone connected to PC) 6. MTK droid tools should detect and display your phones details 7. Click IMEI / NVRAM 8. Click Backup 9. When backup is complete, open the MTK Folder > BackupNVRAM to confirm that backup was successful 8. Connect the phone with Basebrand / IMEI error to the PC still with MTK droid tools open 9. Still under IMEI / NVRAM, click Restore 10. Select the appropriate files from the windows that pop up 11. Reboot the phone once the procedure is complete |

Jay14:Steps to root you android phone without a computer: Step 1: Download the Framaroot app from the link provided to your phone or computer. Step 2: Copy downloaded Framaroot app from your computer to your internal storage or external SD card. (follow this step only if downloaded to computer) Step 3: Enable ‘Unknown sources’. Go to Setting >Security and then check the box next to ‘unknown sources’. Step 4: Install Framaroot app from the apk file. Step 5: Open the Framaroot App and Select “Install Super Su” Step 6: Select an exploit. Every phone has a different exploit so don’t worry. First, try the first exploit. It will work for 90%. If you fail, don’t worry. Your phone has not bricked. Try the other exploits. Step 7: If you see a “Success … Superuser and su binary installed. You have to reboot your device” message then you have successfully rooted your phone. Step 8: If you see “Failed … Try another exploit if available ” message, don’t worry. Your phone has not bricked. Try the other exploits. If none work then your device is unsupported . Step 9: Once rooted (and rebooted), you can install a root checker, such as Root Checker , to verify whether your phone or tablet has been really rooted or not. Step 10: You will also find a new ‘SuperSU’ app icon (see screenshot). This will manage any ‘Superuser’ privileges that you grant to any apps (which is a fancy term for being able to access the root folder and other root functions) . This is mainly done automatically: many apps will detect that your device is rooted and request Superuser privileges, or will do so when you try to access functions that require root. You can manage these Superuser privileges from the SuperSU app (see screenshot). Step 11: If you need to access or manage your root folder, there is a FREE file management app, ES File Explorer but you will have to configure it for root access as detailed below (see screenshot). What happens if all exploits do not work? Will it cause any damage? No, it will not. Nothing, will happen except that your device will not be rooted . I tried to use ‘Framaroot’ to root my friend’s Lenovo A850+ unsuccessfully and moved on without changes to his device. You can install the app in your android device and check out if it works, the app won’t brick your phone as it does not touch your kernel, nor flash anything. |

Samtobh: He has a Samsung phone... Except the phone has a MTK chip which I doubt. All those ^^^ would not work. Possible his EFS Partition got corrupted. |
