Please when did you apply?

I applied online Nov 6th.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Joythah(m): 4:08pm On Jan 13, 2015
Pls house... Went to vfs today to pick up my passport but alas it was not stamped. I applied for trv for short term studies(2 months) and i believed i had a rejection proof application(i read and re-read this thread several times).
The reason given by the vo was purpose of visit. One striking thing was that my Sop, guarantors letter, sponsors letter, letter of intro from emminent personalities, accomodation booking, letter from school was not returned. Is this normal?
My pals are suspecting foul play from vfs i.e vfs did'nt submit those docs. Is this possible?
We are 3 in number going for the course and all of us have same complaints

Another common reason for documents to be held is that the visa officer suspects that they are fake.

all those docs have phone no's and emails attached plus official letter heads. It won't cost cic anything to confirm their authenticity.

If it needs to be preloaded its not a credit card. Only debit cards need to be preloaded, either they are tired to your account or they have a seperate account on their own.

I get you and believe me I knw how credit cards work but the cards are actually preconfigured to work as credit cards. Sometimes when I travel, I shop in certain places where only credit cards are accepted and the cards work just fine. All my other master and visa debit cards do not work in such places. Even on my Internet banking profile, it appears as a credit card. The only unique feature is that it is preloaded.

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by jaylinaaa(f): 6:00pm On Jan 13, 2015
You have absolutely nothing to be worried about. Some of us faced this same issue; We got a quick notification that medical passed and we had to wait about two weeks to get a passport request and finally got the passport about three days later.

Don't worry about it. Just make all possible arrangements, pack, do all the running around. The passport will come soon.

HudsonBanks:

No update at all. I'm really sick of this CIC folks, medicals have been updated since last week still no passport request. Nothing!
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by jaylinaaa(f): 6:03pm On Jan 13, 2015
I don't know about you but personally, I will not bother addressing the issue. It's not a big issue especially because your birth certificate and other certificates tally. My personal opinion is to let it be, do not complicate your application by bringing focus to a part that is not even visible. But then again, that's just what "I" will do.

@mrnilobrawn looking at your report its obvious you need to boost your acct. You're almost there. You've been a very diligent coordinator. I was really touched to see the delay. Go for it steadfastly. You'll get it by His Grace.

Thanks for the encouragement. My lady is already packed and ready to go, we are just waiting for the passport request. A little bit more patience on our part then.

I expected everything to be done by first week of this month so she could meet me in Canada and I could take her around to buy stuff and help her settle in but I guess God knows best. I myself left Canada two days ago back to England to continue with my masters.

Hope the weather isn't torturing you too bad and you settling in fast smiley I got back to England and I was like "I love this warm weather! ". I barely wear a jacket since I got back grin
