Hello @justwise and everyone, I went for my interview on the 9th of Jan and submitted only photocopy documents. I later found out people are submitting original docs, I hope it won't affect my application and how long before am called for collection. Thanks

Ukba specifically asks to submit originals of your credentials because they are checked for authenticity.

The only prayer is that you should be called to produce the original documents. However, you may want to attempt calling them just in case they have any suggestion for you.

Did my interview on the 30th, just go a mail from tpcontact.co.uk saying they've made decision on my visa application. My people, will I wait for a mail from teleperformance abuja for when to pick it up/ or can I go to their office tomorrow

I applied for dependant visa for my wife and baby to join me in the UK on 22nd Dec 2014 in Abuja. We are yet to receive a response till now. I tried contacting the visa office and I was told my baby's application has been referred to another authority for further enquiries. I don't know what that means. Any thoughts?

Letter signed by my wife stating our baby will be under her care during the travel to the uk (we were told to include this at the VAC)

They may try to verify the 3 items in bold, if all are legit then you got nothing to worry about, let them carry out their investigation.

Ok. But from indication, they are satisfied with my wife's documents and the bank statement because it was my chid's application that was said to be awaiting further enquiries. The interesting question now is how do can/will they verify a national population commission certificate issued by a local government secretariat?

That is not a problem, its what they do on daily bases and pretty good at it.

It's hard for a new person to use those. I think Google who be far easier to plan the journey.

Search direction from your London postcode to your destination postcode. Use the public transport section of the map you'll see
