aisha2:It's not just about money even though money is a challenge. Let's assume for example the cancer has spread to 3 vital organs, it would be a challenge for doctors to completely remove the cancer cells since it's claimed to be aggressively spreading. The body can only withstand so much surgical stress as well as being exposed to so much radiation. Phew... Only God can guide us to be honest |

Re: RIP DJDOLA- We Will Miss You by jaybee3(m): 7:59pm On Jan 18, 2015 |
alutacontinua:There is nothing confidential at this stage Sir. The report we got on the 12th is that "he has stage 4 cancer of unknown source and it has spread and there really isn't much that can be done but to improve his quality of life. The only way to identify the source is through a laparotomy which they are uncomfortable to put him through hence the chemotherapy suggestion that will be targeted at the affected parts" |

] Caracta: Cancer is cancer nothing spiritual, its just sad it was discovered late, if it was earlier he would have had a better chance hence the need for us to take our health and check up seriously. What we should all pick from this thread is to stop taking panadol for everything and go to the hospital for routine check ups regularly so things can be found early and treated, turning this into a spiritual issue when it is an identified illness will be counter productive. Early detection saves lives 3 Likes |

Hmmm. Aisha2 has explained well. Errrm...but we still need to know. Why are they not comfortable with laparotomy? Is it the cost or is it deadly seeing he is in stage 4? Aisha2 or doctors in the house, what can you say about chemotherapy? That seems to be another option we have. |
Re: RIP DJDOLA- We Will Miss You by jaybee3(m): 8:15pm On Jan 18, 2015 |
aisha2:That's the koko. I'm just angry at the fact that something can be allowed to get to this stage just because luth wouldn't treat/investigate him cos of lack of funds. It's just pathetic really that our Government don't provide the facilties to treat emergency patients. 2 Likes 1 Share |

olu4life: If it has metastasized, it's possible that they see the secondary sites, but not the primary site. Most especially, if the ct wasn't done towards the primary site. E.g. if an abdominal ct scan was done and the primary site is in the lung, they might not really be able to see that from the ct. Jaybee, which organs have been affected? 1 Like |

jaybee3:Are you sure this report was not taken from a Nollywood movie script? You guys have two doctors on the panel and accepted this?...and are suggesting that these people steer the way?...and carry out "targeted chemotheraphy"? Bro...even if is stage 4 cancer...to India he must go and not for chemo...chemo is a no no. |
