I want to share this experience, i don't really know if only the Nigerian government know what to do best is to create laws, but to enforce law is a very big deal. ... '' i went to this party this certain evening, the disc jockey was enthusiastically flicking the wheels, everyone was stupored to the influence of alcohol and displayed various dance styles(rocking actually). Then, i noticed that there was a cluster of females opposite the main dancehall, they were like four in number. Actually, they secluded themselves amongst the action and started dancing amongst themselves, not just dancing but erotic dances. a short dark girl was seductively twerking for her fellow girl and the girl was like smacking her backside. When guys noticed this fun filled action they encircled them and wanted to dance (rock) with them, they stopped and disengaged like 'a place where a police man threw tear gas' and they went to sit down. When the guys left, they started and did twice what they did before, some even kissed amongst themselves and the guys were like indignantly suprised some started labelling them 'lez' (which they apparently proved)'' ... What they did is illegal in Nigeria. The law against same sex marriage specifically prohibits public show of affection among same sex. Therefore kissing by the women is an offence under that section and is punishable by ten years imprisonment. |
