The leadership of the Ijaw nation yesterday rose from a meeting held in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, declaring that unless Jonathan was allowed a second term in office as, there will no longer be a “One Nigeria.”
Besides, the people also warned that any further attack on the President by hoodlums would be effectively retaliated.

This position was made known at a meeting facilitated by the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, Kingsley Kuku in Yenagoa which had in attendance the state’s governor, Seriake Dickson, his deputy, Rear Admiral John Jonah and top government officials.

The former Ijaw warlords at the meeting included Chief Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo; Alhaji Asari Dokubo; General Boyloaf and Gen. Young-Shall-Grow.
In their speeches, they made it clear that since the oil produced on their land was the unifying factor that brings the nation together, they were ready to stop the oil from continuing to flow if the President is not allowed a second tenure.

Asari particularly charged the youth to be battle ready, “if need be, as nobody can frighten or intimidate us anymore.”
“There is power in Ijaw nation. We are going to war; everyone of us should go and purify himself,” he declared.

Also speaking, Boyloaf said: “There is one Nigeria only because our oil brings us together. Today, they are intimidating one of our own. I, Gen. Boyloaf, I am ready for them. We own the resources, yet they say we do not have the right to rule. Then, we must collect our oil back. If they say they want to take the power from us, then we will take our oil back. We are ready to match them bumper for bumper.”

Boyloaf insisted: “Gone are the days when you intimidate people with guns. We are ready. The Nigerian Army cannot police the pipelines from end to end.”

Summoning up the decisions of the leadership, Kuku made it clear that the Ijaw nation would no longer tolerate the continued attack on the President in the north, especially after the Ijaw people and nation had extend a hand of friendship to their son when his campaign train came to Bayelsa.

“We will not take lightly again what has been happening to the President in the North. We will no longer accept it anymore. For this country to remain united, they should treat our own as we have treated theirs,” he warned.

Speaking later, Dickson said he would take the message of the people to appropriate quarters, adding that he has a fair understanding of all the issues involved.

OKAY. WE REJECT GOOD LUCK JONATHAN.
So Mr Boyloaf put all your money in the bank, get back to the creeks and prepare for another round of war. You are too small to make us disenfranchised and vote for your candidate. The oil sef, God has liberated us from it this year but he wants to punish all you militants that is why you guys are making this mistake now.

They are ready for war. We all can remember that Tompolo acquired 2 warships recently. Jonathan is trying to divide Nigeria.

If GEJ wins (which is not realistic) he can continue. If Buhari wins, GEJ should go back to Otuoke. This is democracy. They should stop ranting.

This is the way forward. We cannot continue to tolerate this born-to-rule mentality from the Hausa-Fulani oligarchs as well as continued betrayal from some of our brothers from the western side of the country.

They are not speaking for the Ijaw nation, they are speaking for the PDP members in Jonathan's good book. I can assure you that the Ijaws are not foolish people. They said Buhari will be rejected in Ijawland, he came to Bayelsa and we all saw the reception he got. Same in Rivers State. These same group of people said Amaechi cannot to to Okrika, that he will be stoned, we all saw how Amaechi was received by Okrikans. He even danced publicly.

Let me assure you and mark this quote, Jonathan is a goner, the good people of Izon will move on with life and enjoy the benefit of President Buhari! Call me a coward if it turns out that Ijaws resist Buharoi....

There is too many grievance and injustice for Nigeria to move forward. Those who have subjected others to internal colonialism are at it again. The truth is gradually dawning on us that our system only understands violence.

just tell your people not to follow the militants in beating the drums of war, cos their population is not even up to the amount of lives wasted during the nigerian civil war.

You begin to ask yourself, who are these people? It is like political thugs issuing statements and media attributing same to an entire tribe. Who are these people? They are thugs! How many intellectuals listen to them? How many Amayanabos listen to them? Those people are the same political thugs recruited by PDP in 1998. We know them very well, they are hyped disgracing the good people of Ijaw nation. We have leaders like Briggs, we have leaders like our respective Amayanabos and Alabos, we have a leading group like IPA and INC. These are groups that though have collection of different politicians, they still maintain the Ijaw interests on some issues. We shall live to see post May 29. I assure you that nothing will happen. Trust me!

Bros, you should know that this is all PDP politics of propaganda. Forget about drum of war or no war. You only hear this from PDP recruited thugs like the names above and PDP members. Is Timpre Silva not Ijaw? Is Mrs Ibim not Ijaw? Is the LG Chairman in my LGA not Ijaw (he's APC), is Tam David West not Ijaw? Is Peterside not Ijaw? Can't ppl see their scheme? Is all scheme... GEJ will lose more votes in Rivers and Bayelsa states against their propaganda. Just watch as it unfolds.

And I think your weed has too much Alomo Bitters and Orijin for you to have said this. Instead of blaming and cautioning those who first beat the wardrums up north, you're here hallucinating. Let me tell you the bitter truth: the Ijaw are ready for Buhari and his minions like you. The future shall tell. Bet me. The day Buhari is declared a winner, which is quite impossible, Nigeria may not cease to exist, but the creeks will boil again. And to those who think it would only affect Ijawland, I think your uneducated and myopic brains would understand what is stake once the operation commences. I don't support violence but neither do I support injustice.

For me they should divide this country, we are too big to be called a nation. I will still say it again, Christians and Muslims are not suppose to be in same country because our believes are totally different. As for Jonathan he must and will complete his tenure. GEJ till Nigeria divide.

Hausa have produced more President than any other groups in Nigeria. Only the Northwest where Buhari hails from, have produced 4 that died in office.

If the Ijaw First President and probably the last for the next 70 years or more is not allowed to conclude his tenure then chaos is the least Nigeria should expect.

The Ijaws are today in a better position than yesterday to collect all their oil wells from Northerners and their accomplice by fire and force.

Nigeria in 2015 will not survive another civil war. No country survives two civil war.

What is wrong with our country?

Some group of touts would just wake up someday and plan something that, if achieved, they'd be endangering a whole tribe. This is trash.

There are lots of innocent persons out there who are ignorant about the state of our country. The Ijaw tribe as far as i know, are alone on this. Or should i say those persons issuing this threat.

These guys should pay attention to their intentions, they wouldn't wanna start something they can't finish.

I know Jonathan has a plan that is why he has been funding those militants and has refused to arm our own military.

No one should tell me he is funding the military with billions, he put his own man there as the head, he can as well get whatever amount he wants from the money released and they can use the funds for whatever pleases them, If the money is used for it's purpose it should reflect on the ground

I say this and I won't offer apology to anyone, only some IGBOS on the forum will openly back this propaganda. We know them, they are pro-Biafrans. I will gladly engage ANÝ Ijaw that think otherwise. If you are not Ijaw, don't bother to quote me and challenge my position, because I will ignore you.

Meanwhile, a disintegrated Nigeria will produce a Niger Delta Republic, just as it was proposed in 1966 by Sir Isaac Adaka Boro before it was crushed. QED....sai Buhari
