the undercurrent of Nassarawa's politics is not in favour of maku as a christian. The challenger to the governor must 1st be moslem then have a strong platform. Agabi is stronger in the strict politics of it! PDP all the way! Just like a moslem can't win in plateau. I am born andd bread there and I understand it too well!

In as much as I agree with on Gej not influencing the selection of party candidates but it down on me that GEJ is just too dumb and clueless and can't dare any guvnor/party chairnab not to talk of imposing a candidate.

I think Obanikoro is more useful to GEJ as Lagos population is a huge determinant of His returning to Aso Rock compared to Labaran Maku's State. That is why GEJ provided another means of settling Obanikoro after he failed the primaries and Maku was left on his own.
