BetaThings:

Unfortunately people don't take rational decisions
The journalists can afford to take him apart on issues that many cannot reason about
Jonathan said Buhari did not buy a rifle in 1984-85 and people applauded forgetting that in 1992 - 95 or so we spearheaded Ecomog war in Liberia and Sierra Leone

Let me give you an example

A Buhari critic wrote this
"I watched in horror when he said he would ask our able-bodied men to embrace Agriculture. So primitive"
Yet he was not horrified when Jonathan said virtually the same thing in Kebbi and Sokoto and went on to call himself the President's farmer in Benue
Was he not talking to able bodied men or can superannuated people be expected to drive a sector that is the largest contributor to GDP?
The more reason he should go with determination and clear the wrong notion that people have about him.A man is known to be tall when he can stand strong before his enemies. The novel he "stoop to conquer" comes to mind.

They want a neutral media... As if d word "neutral" will shield them from been buy able,

If Jega resigns today and GEJ choose a new inec chairman? Will they shun the election
They knew there balloons of lies will get busted by d pin of truth at the Debate
All they have to discuss are kworruption, security issues and unemployment

Industrialisation? D qovt is too corrupt

Fiscal federalism? Unemployment rate is alarming
Transportation? We will do some about it

Health? Pay 500 per year as if hospital and equipment will grow by its self

If we can be true to ourselves,in both PDP and APC ,which of them does not have a good number of corrupt individuals?Your guess is as good as mine.
I am not blind to honesty
APC wll still tell you we will fight corruption
But PDP does not even hide their love for corruption

I will not take people to jail, I will set up systems to forestall corruption
Has Jonathan ever done anything without a committee?
If he is sincere, where is the committee to structure the corruption-prevention system?

I support the reasons for shunning this biased debate. GEJ must have received the questions already, PDP are very desperate right now with their N21b.
BON, NTA, FRCN and AIT are all strong members of the NERD and also strongly allied to the incumbent GEJ which will end come FeBuhari14 with or without a debate.

After all Obama won the election after messing up in his own debate.
We don't want debate, we want change in Nigeria. #SaiBuhari
How do we expect this country to grow with people who reason like this?? If Buhari is worth his onion he shouldn't run away frm this debate

Am i getting something wrong here? How can a debate be biased? Would the journalists stop him from answering questions accurately? Would they prevent him from providing well articulated answers to questions raised? Would they stop him from airing plans he has for Nigerians? Would they stop him from defending himself once and for all of all accusations that the PDP have been leveling against him? heck! even if his opponent have seen the questions before hand how does it affect his abilities of answering his own questions correctly and convincingly? Do you runaway from an exam cos your classmates have seen the questions before hand? Is he scared? I thought he should be happy for finally getting an opportunity like this sef?
Thank you. This is all I'm saying!!

Elections getting interesting by the day, I must confess I'm having n catching fun from the various news that's been trending about campaign for a while now, different bombs and RPGs being thrown from one political camp to the other..at least I can say that people are getting more inclined and exposed politically by the hour.

However, big events to me like the upcoming debate shouldn't be handled with hands of levity by way of trying to shy away from the debate by giving us unreasonable reasons why a candidate can't participate, for crying out loud, this is an open debate that Nigerians are longing to watch live from the corners of our rooms, we want to hear from the horses' mouths.

Regardless of whoever organised the debate or however it is being organised, GMB should come out and participate in the debate, I want to believe the judges would be fair and unbiased.

Mai vote still goes to GMB though, bur we need you to add some swag to your strategies and addresses..we just can't afford another 4yrs of dulling..

They won't be fair, they are the same people smearing his image for weeks now, two things will happen at the debate

1. they will shield Jonathan and all his clulessness
2. they'll bring their Name Smearing business on Buhari to climax.

I don't think it's hard to setup neutral media, if they want a proper debate let a non-partisan media handle it shikena!

So Jonathan stepped down in 2011 because of debate?

Let me repeat
2011 Mr PhD holder, come for debate
No I want to chill with my friend D banj

2015, he wants debate
Jonathan does not do anything that is not arranged
He ensured that nobody contested his PDP presidential primary this time
That is first in the history of PDP
Presidential election was fixed since a year ago and is to come first. now he wants it postponed
He has been fighting tooth and nail to get Buhari disqualified
was it not the same Jonathan that had a media chat and not a single caller got through? which network did they use?
When ordinary Nigerians were calling themselves and talking about it
This debate is rigged otherwise Jonathan would be talking to 2face on that day
