Please @all, I had an evacuation @ 8 weeks, 6 months ago because the sac was empty, after the evacuation, I normally have stabbing pains on my left side during my periods, I knw it's not normal, my Doctor is not concerned, please what can I do? Been TTCing for almost 3 yrs. please help a frustrated sister.

@safe06, God bless u for replying and amen to ur prayers for me,I have done so many pelvic scans since the evacuation but notin has been found, dou I have a 2.4cm intramural fibroid, and about 4 doctors said it's not a prob, the major problem i have is that I am based in Ile ife, and we don't have much options as regards getting a good doctor, I am afraid there was a problem during the evacuation, pls how do I know if there is a scar on my uterus due to D and C?

@mummyelena u mean ovarian cysts/pcos? Der r imbalances in ur hormones dat make d follicles persist after maturation. Dey were supposed to melt away after a period of tym n slection of d best follicle. God wil see u thru...continue wit ur doc for monitoring
As for unmonitored clomid gosh! Really not gud in d long run.
Cos it thins out d uterine linning, making ferlized egg not to implant. So u need some breaks after 5/6courses to regenarate. Also clomid shld be taken wit some drugs dat counteract d uterine linning thinning

@ Beauty4ashes:- Please tell your sister-in-law not to worry herself going for surgery or taking anything for that matter. Functional ovarian cyst resolves on it's own. No cause for alarm at all.

@ Nazablossom, there's nothing wrong with you, it is just your hormones precisely progesterone kicking in and it's a part of a constellation of symptoms called PMS (premenstrual syndrome).

Wonderful mothers, good morning. I shared my bfp news recently, however a scan at week 10 cld not pick a cardiac activity,hence declared as a blighted ovum. I cld not even cry but very grateful to God cos it's the first te in 4yrs which confirms that it's possible and I am working with the faith that a better, viable one will happen.
My concern however is how to expel the sax from my body. My Dr. Has given 2 weeks to see of the body will expel it subsequent to which he will carry out a manual vacuum extraction. Pls any hints on what I can do, or do I just go for the extraction? Thx.

@ Chiclasweet, I am sorry for the loss of your baby, like the doctor has rightly advised, give your body 2 weeks to do it on its own, if it doesn't, then see your doctor. It is preferable if your body is able to extract it on its own, most times our bodies have a way of expelling it but not to worry if you don't expel it, just see your doctor and you will be well taken care of.
