I don't think it will be down after election considering the weak naira and weak economic situation but also the return can be little compared to other investment portfolio

It will take exactly 91 days after ur first bid before ur 200k will be credited to ur account. That's when u can use it for another bid. After the first bid, only 5k, which is 10% of 91 day tenor of 200k will be left in ur account. You cannot participate in next bid unless u fund ur account.

Interests are annual. The investment was not for 1yr, but 91days (3 months), so divide that 10% by 4 (i.e 12months/3), and your interest is 2.5%. That gives you N5,000 for the 20,000.

You can only talk of true yield if you reinvested your interest. Why the true yield is higher is simply because your interest is paid upfront. Regular buyers of treasury bills in the house will tell you that at 10% for 91 days, what you get is 5,000 and not 5,500.

Calculating the true yield PA it will be (20,000/180,000)*100 = 11.11%.
Recall that you divide by 180,000 because, it's a discounted interest.

Any amount you have provided it is above 100k. Even if na 100 million Naira, you are game.
