What nonsense, so these blockheads didn't make defeating BH their priority prior to the election? GEJ needs 6 more weeks to perfect his election rigging I guess. What a bunch of fools. If he likes postpone the election to quarter to rapture, he's leaving the seat of power. GEJ get yourself a copy of P.Diddy's song and start singing to your people "I'm coming home, coming home....tell Otuke I'm coming home...)

When Goodluck goes dancing in kano after Boko haram slaughtered hundreds of nigerians, they say insurgency cannot stop governance, now they are telling us because of insurgency they want to suspend election

For the Imminent postponement of this elections, I just got
another reason why I should not vote Jonathan. A president
who makes Nigeria look silly, unorganised and confused in
the eye of the world. Now he has coerced the security agents
to say they can't take part in discharging their activities,
because they want to use 6weeks to fight bokoharam. What
they couldn't do in 6 years. Indeed Nigeria has become a
banana republic, and the government make the citizens look
like fools! Where has it been heard that a serious minded
country postponed its election.
Indeed, There was a country!

So if in 6 weeks they are not able to contain the insurgency we should postpone again

Since when did the military start having constitutional rights?

If the INEC had stated the reason as 'threat' to voting in some parts of the country, it would have been understandable BUT for him to say Service Chiefs lobbied him under pressure to postpone the polls only goes on to show that retardeen had no control over his armed forces abi no bi president be Commander In Chief again? undecided

More reason why we want the elections to remove the inactive C-in-C

PDP and GEJ @ work!!! It is the responsibility of the security agencies to ensure the safety of lives & properties at all times.election period is not an exemption. So unbelieveable, an incumbent pushing tooth and nail for postponement of elections.

WHAT A SHAME!!!

I wonder o, anything is possible in that jungle. GEJ's cake is like a horrible student who failed an exam and he's hoping the release of the exam result will change his result; too little to late.

It seems Jega is proving to be the servant who knows more than his master. When those corpers were killed in the North in 2011, due to inadequate guaranteed security, what did he do or say,

security agencies that their concerns now is to defeat the Boko Haram insurgency and not to provide security for elections.

We can as well wait for another 4 years until they defeat Boko Haram before conducting election.

As predicted by OBJ and others, GEJ is bent on destroying this country.

Apart from being the most divisive Nigerian president ever, the Nigerian armed forces and other security units have never been so politically compromised, and in such a dangerous way, as they are today under his government.

But GEJ and PDP should know that THEY CAN ONLY DELAY THE INEVITABLE; the majority of Nigerians HAVE DECIDED to send the clueless packing, whether the election is held on Feb. 14 or on a later date.

The only question now is HOW BIG the inevitable defeat is going to be.

For the uninformed PDP urchins who are still incapable of understanding how GEJ has ALREADY lost the coming election, this is how:

1. Buhari is set to get even MORE millions of votes in the North than he got in 2011

2. The SW, for the FIRST TIME EVER, is now safely locked down for the people's general.

3. He (Buhari) is SURELY going to do MUCH BETTER in the MB, SS and SE than his performance in 2011.

4. While Buhari is going to IMPROVE on his performance of 2011 by getting MORE votes in his strongholds and and making inroads into all the other regions, GEJ on the other hand is going to do LESS WELL in his SS/SE stronghold than he did in 2011, and is also SURELY going to get MUCH LESS votes in the MB, NW and NE.

5. Besides all this, it is also a FACT that those who want to see an end to the clueless and incompetent adm of GEJ IN ALL THE REGIONS (including the SS/SE) are FAR MORE MOTIVATED and MORE COMMITTED to collecting their PVCs, and ENDURING all the hassle and risks of COMING OUT TO VOTE, than those who support the clueless and his PDP.

6. The greatest undoing of GEJ this time around is his CLEAR LOSS of the SW; only a person of pathetically low intelligence would fail to understand this.
power can only be retained here in d south or be broken,, power wil neva retturn 2d north, incase u dnt kno, ppl've fully prepared 4 war,, d north most get ovadoz of woteva dey need dis tym,, we're in power simple,, dey shuld accept dat fact or go & die! Jega is a traitor & stickinly corupt!

I guess it finally dawned on the presidency that this isn't an inter-party contest as it is made to seem but a conspiracy by the HAUSA/FULANI stock to return power to themselves.

JEGA has been comprised obviously and is no longer an unbiased umpire judging from his decision to assign 21,000 polling units to the North and 9,000 to the South. His blatant show of bigotry gave him away.

We thought Maurice Iwu was partial but Jega has proven to be worse.

Nigerians with their problem..... when the minister of education warned that the Borno state government should relocate the student from chibok for security reasons, stead they insisted the student remain their.. all the blames came to Gej after their kidnap... now the security chiefs are asking for the postponement of the election cos they can't be fighting bokoharam and same time protecting the citizens while election is going on..

Now same citizens are shouting election must hold.. should incase the unexpected happens, what will Nigerians do? blame Gej again?? we have to be security concious and stop this APC/PDP issue.. life first. and beside those politicians clamouring the election must have taken their children outside the country and would want to use ppls head here to achieve their selfish quest.... for all I care for is peace.. Jega, if you have been advised by Security Chiefs of this nation to postpone the election without it having any effect on the handover date, you better do so. I believe life of the electorates are more important than any individual selfish interest. For any person, group of persons, or party, going against the postponement, because he or she, they or their party felt that it will be of their advantage of winning the election, without putting into consideration of what the post-election violence that will erupt due to INEC inability of distributing uniformly the PVC to all State of the federation, without putting the life of the electorates in the North - East of this country, which our security agents had made it known to Jega that their life will not be guaranteed except ample time of 6weeks is given, does or do not wish this country well.
what if the security situation don't improve in 6 weeks time? There is no guarantee that the security will improve in 6 weeks time. Nigeria should not let boko haram hold the country to ransom because that is the plan of boko haram and it will be a victory for boko haram.
