So,apparently, one of the reasons Boko Haram was frantically sustained has been delivered to #Nigerians tonight.

It is clear that this postponement decision, by @inecnigeria ,was forced. This has a lot of implications regarding #NigeriaDecides

It is strange that security agencies have a timetable for combating insurgents that coincides with the exact period planned for elections

This government has basically said they'd combat insurgency successfully over the next 6 weeks. Setting themselves up for more failure?

There will be reactions, hopefully peaceful and lawful. I think INEC's hands were forced by a dictator who needs more time to dance naked

There will be attempts, over the next few weeks, to disqualify @thisisbuhari and send Prof. Jega packing ahead of his full term in June

Let it be on record that even though Nero fiddled and IBB annulled an election that actually held, a worse coward has bared ugly fangs.

Change isn't something that can be postponed or delayed, it can only be accelerated when the time has come. For Nigeria #ThingsMustChange

A king that is afraid to face the battle that will end his reign is one that only defers -- and accentuates -- his coming disgrace.

Writing on the wall ,אנמ ,אנמ ,לקת ופרסין Mene, Mene, Teqel, Upharsin God has numbered the days of your kingdom and brought it to an end!

It is safe to say Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is behind the Boko Harram insurgency in #Nigeria by refusing to deal with terrorism until election .

Fellow Nigerians, Lets shun violence and peacefully March4Buhari

This Country is finished, the postponement of the election is all about fine tuning their rigging method. No way will Buhari be allowed to be president, their is to much at stake for these bandits to conduct a free and fair election, by the time they open the floodgates of Ghana must go bags, it's a done deal not with the greed and selfishness of the average Nigeria including me and you reading this. I am going to make a prediction, GEJ will be re "elected", and he is going to spend the next 4yrs shopping for a safe candidate to handover in 2019 whether from PDP or the opposition party, no way they going to allow GMB be president.

The question of the day for Proffesor Jega: 'what if the security situation of the north east does not improve or go worse, are we going to shift election till may or June again if the military can not assure inec of staff's security'.. Prof says we should keep hope alive that the situation will Improve... Now it is so obvious that we are running a millitary controlled democracy in Nigeria ,the exact system proposed by General Sanni Abacha in his vision for Nigeria

its a tough decision but I think its worth it...inec can use d time to perfect all other necessary electioneering process....
BT pls Gej should not try to sack jega or ask him to go on terminal leave...DAT could be suicidal...
God bless nigeria
This postponement is to enable fayose, obanikoro, mimiko, the army perfect ekiti-like rigging.

It still beat my imagination how somebody will come here and support this callous and barbaric election postponement by this inept and clumsy administration. Even a dolt knows that their reasons are too wishy-washy to accept. They did not fight boko haram since Yaradua, now they want to extirpate them in 6 weeks. I whimper for this country.

28 is the power 14 multiplied by 2. March 28 = FeBuhari 14 enhanced twice as more
#March4Buhari
#NoMoreLoss

First it was JANUARYBUHARI, then FEBUGARI, now MARCHBUHARI. It seems PDP is actually trying to send APC supporters back to,primary school to recite the months of the calender and then get their certificate. Lol

No peace in the North East No election in Nigeria. If Buhari and Apc want Election they should support GEJ to fight Boko Haram. GEJ till 2019. PDP : Power to GEJ

How on earth can someone be as ignorant as you are in 2015? Are you not aware that if presidential election was not conducted before the expiration of his tenure, at least 30 days before, there's will be an interim government which will see him back to Otueke faster than he himself imagined? Ignorance and ethnoreligious bigotry are dealing with you badly.

The more reason any responsible nigerian has to vote gej out. My jegas reason for postponement of this election, one can deduce that we ve a president that ve failed in the primary duties of protecting life and property. As the chief security officer and comander in chief of the arm forces, he has completely rediculed the image of our nation. brother politics is bad oh

power in the hands of a good user. he will be unstoppable

HINT: the inec chairman will be given a three month terminal leave letter

the calculation is now that.. they will appoint an acting INEC chairman while JEGA step down for a NEW person

Info: did u people notice that the President looks relax and seems not to be in a rush??
while APC people are rushing and desperate

the arrangement and calculations have been done since last year 2014.

@ all dont wast your strength....Politicians plan months in advance for all they do

funny do..APC will spend more money this period which many supporters dont like

I see the PDP goons celebrating this postponement, not realizing that the imminent and inescapable electoral defeat that awaits the clueless is ONLY DELAYED by some weeks, but will certainly come.

We are ready to see the PDP attack dogs, Okupe, Omokri, Abati, Clark, Dokubo, FFK and Fayose coming up with their worst negative campaign against Buhari within this extended period, but like all their previous smear campaign and character assassination, whatever they come up with they cannot stop the change momentum.

Nigerians HAVE DECIDED to end this incompetent and clueless adm.
