TOPCRUISE:
Jega was Forced to such a decision, since the presidency, PDP stalwarts, security chiefs aided by the commander in chief of armed forces are doing and have done everything possible to frustrate the February election. They just wnt to gather steam to frustrate the opposition since all they have used against the opposition are not yet enough to carry the day. Their antics against buhari will be enough for that 6 weeks they clamour for

They first sent someone to London to fly the Kite regarding postponement. Then they sponsored some elements to protest in Abuja. The rented protesters were later seen sharing money. When keen observers saw the "voice of Joseph and hand of Esau" in the unfoldong drama, the clueless government denied being behind the secret move to postpone the elections. Even INEC claimed that elections will not be shifted. But we knew that they will, as it were, put a gun on INEC's head to shift the date. Then the Senior Special Assistant to the clueless one mustered courage to tell us why postponement is essential, thereby owning up and confirming our suspicion that the clueless govt was indeed behind the underhand moves. And now they have equally succeeded in arm-twisting and intimidating Jega to change the election date.

We are watching!

Take it or leave it, it God that put them there.

Sometimes when I read post of people insulting the President and some leaders, I feel so disappointed with Nigerians, we vote for them but it God that put them there, if you say is not God that put them there that is to say God it not with us, people call the president names, insult him even post some insulting kind of pictures of him on internet forgetting that people from other country are reading and watching, Nigeria is not as bad as other countries, Nigeria is more better than some countries, we never insult ourselves when we fail but we encourage ourselves, let pray for God's help and wisdom, not insulting our leaders, the day we insult our father that is the day we bring course to ourselves.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Life is a continuous process my friend, no one doubt that its God that put them there. Is it not God that put Abacha there before this recent democracy? Sebi some Nigerians agitated for what this president and his cabal are enjoying today, he will soon meet his Waterloo.
Let's condemn it if our leaders are going astray because of the unfavourable consequence of their action on the populace. It is now glaring to all to see that they are insincere to the nation and not fit to be on the seats they occupied. The problem of Nigerians is TRUTHFULNESS, we all hate it and we will continue to reap whatever we sow.
God bless Nigeria!

you are so ignorant and am worried about the state of our youth's intellect. I have been to several international forums and you can't even compare the level of their reasoning to their Nigerian counterpart. We really are in deep trouble in this country. So, these cowards have blackmailed INEC & Nigerians (using security) into postponing the elections.

These incompetent lot had more than 1 year to restore normalcy in the Northeast in preparations for the elections, and yet (typically) they failed miserably. Now, suddenly these baboons want Nigerians to trust them to do their job in 6 weeks.

Ok, so now PDP & GEJ have got their wish - sufficient time to perfect their evil agenda. But contrary to their expectations, things will play even more favourably into the hands of #TeamGMB.

One way or the other, come March 28th, this inept government MUST go! Change isn't something that can be postponed or delayed, it can only be accelerated when the time has come.

Its so clear to even blind person to see and understand the reason why PDP/GEJ is pressing for postpone the election. Bokoharam that you can not end for the past 309 weeks that you are in office, so, you now need only six week to end the insurgency so that election can hold. GEJ can you tell nigeria again that your gorverment is not behind bokoharam. What you postpone is a history day where sitting president is defeate and disgrace. Come march 28 will be day you wii send back to zoo where you belong. Haba, cant you see that nigerian are tired of you and your killing gorverment. GEJ go go go go ooooooooooooo.

So,this is really true after all the speculations. My view is slightly different.

emotions apart, it is better to have elections we are fully prepared for than to conduct haphazard polls that will make the world laugh at us again.

Right now, Nigeria's international reputation is at its lowest, we cant afford a further dip.

INEC might also be trying to avoid court cases that would truncate this democracy.

Any of those states in the north east can prove in the court of law that they were disenfranchised.

What if buhari or Jonathan has one short of the mandatory 25 percent in two thirds of the country and then the loser approaches the court that he would have had the full two third if elections held in the affected states.

By the way, I would prefer an election held in April with relative security than one held next week where we hear boko haram has bombed voters.

Most of us want change. Lets demand change with common sense.
those place that you talk about have received above 70% of their pvcs, so how did they get them, how com bokoharam did not stop them from collecting them. We know what's going on
