Now i truly und the main ideology behind THINGS FALL APART by chinua achebe(rip).i can see clearly now that we have no leaders but mere psychopaths in power. I see the leaders putting thier selfish interests before the need of the masses,i see another form of democracy being practise in this great country. I see our leaders causing hatred among all ethnic groups,i see them destabilizing oir economy to favour the few. I saw all of these nd decided to vote in president Goodluck jonathan in 2011 cause i felt He understood what nigerians were going through nd moreover since he had NO SHOES,he was the only person that could ve been in abject poverty nd knew the struggles nd sacrifices we nigerians faced daily.i voted for him. After 4 yrs in power, nothing ve changed mr president.i know you are a good person but the people that surrounds u re really crazy.i wept when i saw my freinds under the sun during the immigration exercise nd i became bitter when sme of dem lost their lives. My perspective about nigeria changed when APC chose gen muhamdu buhari as the party flag bearer for the presidential postion.i had to dig back into history to knw who that personalty was.what i noticed about this man was that he was know to be an incorruptible personalty.i felt that was interesting but nevertheless i still insisted on voting for president goodluck jonathan come February 14.but CHANGES started to occur, your campaign team had failed you and nigerians and also made ridicule of my beloved country. I saw the hatred being showed on gen muhammad buhari then i asked my self why your presidency is scared,i mean gen muhammad buhari had contested over 4 times but why is this time so different?definitely u nd your cohorts are really scared of something and i dont knw what that could be. I intend voting for president goodluck jonathan this election not until i saw the derogatory documentary your campaign team had made and reedited.at that moment,i knew who i wanted to vote cause i could pinpoint each loopholes nd fallacies made in that documentary. Although i still had a little respect and love for the president not until the initial postponement of the genral election, initially i thought the elction was gooing to be postponed as a result of unavailability of pvcs across the country but the inec chairman made his stance known by saying all pvcs wuld be circulated across the country before feb 14. I felt the election would still hold not until the military gave a silly excuse that security would not be guranteed for the elections then i knew the president has an active role in cohersing the miltary to make such statement. Yes sir,you want six weeks, you ve been given. Can u eradicate the insurgency in 6 weeks?u look confident.now i ask u mr president, for the past 4 years when the insurgents had been terrorizing nigeria,u looked CLUELESS but suddenly you sound confident i must say. Mr presiden,do u really think we nigerians are dumb?this is my take,if bokoharam is eradicated in six weeks i can declare publicly you are the the main sponsor of bokoharam.BOKOharam is a very small group but lagely funded.if u think you can exterminate bokoharam so easily in 6 weeks then i know you nd your cohorts had brought bokoharam to destabilize nigeria nd make it seem like it was brought by the opposition party and later eradicate to make it seem like you are the HERO of the day.nice play mr president. I and my family shall march4buhari as he is the only credible person i know.life is not all about GOODLUCK,it is about hardwork, sacrifices, prayers and integrity and CHANGE IS CONSTANT 5 Likes 2 Shares |

spott: Many prefer to be forgetful but we will help their memory about Buhari on Boko Haram: Buhari faults crackdown on Boko Haram www.nairaland.com/attachments/2035028_buhari_jpeg124530d5bd433c751b175a8e21349689 And to confirm his knowledge that Boko Haram will disappear IF he gets to power, the retired General has NO plan whatsoever on fighting Boko Haram: I’ll meet other generals to draft anti-terror plan – Buhari Meanwhile in 2012 when Boko Haram wanted amnesty negotiations, Buhari would not get involved => Boko Haram wants talks …picks Buhari as mediator, Saudi Arabia venue …demands ex-gov’s arrest, compensation Thief'nuibu cabal's "expired" leader obviously did not want his cover blown open. It did not matter how many more of his fellow citizens will be butchered by Boko Haram before he gets a chance at a fourth failed attempt to apply for our nation's top job. Just as it did not matter how many of our youths on national service and other innocent civilians will be killed due to his hate-filled and inciting statements. www.nairaland.com/attachments/2090417_buhariviolence_jpegdc58400e6e7e56c3714cccdb8f4338bf 3 Likes 2 Shares |

@madjune has made a valid statement. If Good luck had done one thing that was spectacular, just one thing, we the people would have been the one begging to re elect him. he would not need to campaign. Lagoshians practically begged Fashola to run for a 2nd term. Tinubu campaigned when he ran for 2nd term, but he didn't have to. He was always going to win because people could see the effect of his leadership. Because of their successes as governors, Ambode would likely win LAgOS state even though in my opinion, Jimi Agbaje might be the better candidate; but that's the sign of a good leader. A lot of people have said that they wished Fashola was running for president. Because he did his job well as a governor. GEJ'S strategy to win this elections is obvious. 1. Cash in on our two biggest fears about buhari, the first being that voting for him would open the doors to the northern rule that we fought so hard to get out from, the second being that buhari might turn out to be the next gadaffi. 2. Potray himself as a common and simple man and elicit our sympathy and through that our votes. 3. Use backroom Tactics and a series of smear campaigns to destabilize buhari and at the same time highlight his flaws (both real and imagined). If Jonathan had a spine, he would focus on the real issues, the relevant issues like buhari has done through this campaign. If Jonathan was not so clueless, he would campaign with verifiable facts like buhari has done, instead of calling those things that be not as though they were. The truth is that GEJ cannot base his campaign on the real issues, because They would highlight his incompetence so his only tactic is to say "hey, I may be a corrupt, good for nothing, spineless, clueless leader, but look at my opponent, he might be a religious dictator; at least I look harmless" I say we vote a man that is a potential leader, not a man that has proven himself to be a sorry excuse for aone a leader. boytie: GEJ is d dictator smh!!!, wat strategy will they implement in 6 weeks that they cldnt hv done in 3 weeks, abt 3 weeks back the nsa had been spreading this rumour and call for election shift he first sighted number of pvc collected, hw these nw turned to security I wonder. they hv turned it to security intelligence, what intelligence? where and what? we deserve to knw as nigerians. or are they planning to recruit or buy new weapons in 6 weeks? what, what will change in 6 weeks that cant happen now, I hv always believed when there is a will there is a way, they didnt want to provide security because the power dat be have demanded a shift. I can assure you tis country wont be any safer in 6 weeks, it just to buy room for them to go back to the drawng board and plan rigging. Also since wen did the military become important in elections, military are only used for wars or national conflict as terrorism, ususally it the police and civil defences dat are used, it is only during gej soliders do all manner of things, market taskforce nw use the navy to arrest hawkers, wat a shame. that why they hv become weak. In my evaluation INEC has been compromised, it shd e changed from INEC to NEC. |

It really funny that nigerians don't know that Jonathan. Has been planning these bokoharam since to give room for not conducting election in North East be cos he knows definitely that is d strong hold of opportunity for north to win election. D real bokoharam has been destroyed since.those remaining are Jonathan weapon to destroy d north.period. |

dynamitee: Our president has done more than one good thing. He has done many good things. https://www.nairaland.com/2117791/achievements-jonathan-sambo-administration-pictures in addition to having elections that are more free & fair than under OBJ. However, the Thief'nuibu cabal has been very successful in rubbishing all that good work with persistent personal attacks on the president that has worked on our mostly gullible fellow citizens. Those who can remember will recall how a similar strategy was used against Fashola in 2009 until he had to BEG the JagaBandit to secure his second term. www.nairaland.com/attachments/2071670_amobodelagostreasuryintinubuspocket_jpeg76c650e7b4da72f386d60fc93b8843c5 1 Like |

Yorubas March4Buhari...... It is so obvious that the polity of this country has very dangerous tribal shades of all sorts of irresponsible considerations and reasons. All of a sudden security does not matter to thus folks again, all they want to do is vote even if the atmosphere smells of impending violence and chaos that will need the full efforts of the security agencies. Why is it so important to the APC that elections must hold on February 14th, unless they are up to something then I see no reason why this should raise so much dust especially in the face of the violence and obvious lack of capacity by the INEC to effectively distribute PVCs. I will always say this, Yorubas play politics of parochial interests, it is so obvious that very little number are in for it because they want a better Nigeria, they are doing all these because Buhari is being propped up by the Yoruba political elite and has promised to concede some degree of political control, power, interests and influence to the people of the region. It is not about corruption or any positive change for them. But the fact still remains, either way, Nigeria is bleeped, I won't be surprised when the militants in the creeks starts their own problem which usually is more damning than BokoHaram killing a hundred poor northern villagers. It is a painful fact though. 3 Likes |

After yesterday's pronouncement by Prof Jega, I have decided to be actively involved in this Election issues. I just reactivated my account and you will hear more from me till GMarchB becomes president on March4BuharI 28. As for me and my households, my nuclear and extended family, my neighbours and colleagues, and friends and loved ones, we have just decided to VOTE for GMarchB. We have decided to send GExJ back to Otueke on March4Buhari 28. We have decided to VOTE for GMarchB until GExJ realizes that Mama Patience need to go back to school. We have decided to VOTE for GMarchB until the World knows that certificateless (as they claim) GMarchB is far more intelligent than PHD Clueless. We have decided to VOTE for GMarchB until GExJ acknowledges that waiting 6Weeks for Change is more endurable compared to 6years of waste. We have decided to change the plate numbers of our cars to March4Buhari. 1 Like 1 Share |

I'm not a block head. And I'm not illiterate. When you talk like this though, you come off sounding like one. It's an election. that buhari has more of an accent than GEJ does not make him any less educated. But Jonathan has had 6 years to show what he is made of, and in those 6 years, we might as well have left the post vacant after Yardua died. If an illiterate can do better than a PhD holder, then he should be given a chance to prove himself. I dont think that is the reasoning of a blockhead or an illiterate. If you want to score e-points, base them on real issues. Don't call millions of people blocheads or illiterates because they don't agree with your point of view. I have discovered that only block heads, illiterate people are supporting their illiterate brother,Buhari.Birds of feather flock together. 1 Like |

first of all, we have been fighting this same war within our territories for years. the war hasn't ended in 6years of GEJ's rule, it is unlikely another 6 weeks would make a difference. Secondly; correct me if I am wrong, but GEJ'S title is "Commander in chief of the armed forces of the federal Republic of Nigeria". As a leader, the military cannot and should not be able to tell him when they want to do their job And perform their sworn duty. Thirdly, GEJ has had 6 years to make good decisions when they would have been most appreciated, the reason why the electorates (note that I said electorates because even a common person like me thinks those elections being postponed was a stupid and inconsiderate move) question his "good decisions" now is because he doesn't have a track record of making good decisions. In my opinion, Putting the elections in February was a bad decision On its own. Postponing it to march is another bad decision. I'm waiting for his next one.[quoteauthor=zeusdgrt post=30531945]All i saw on the twitter are bunch of foolish northerners and some western guys.if a country is fighting a war within its territory it is nt possible to hold an election in dt same atmosphere and besides the military said they can't and wunt provide protection if the election goes on.Is said to see dt every good decision our president takes these days is seen to be for vote which is wrong it just show how APC pple are so clueless and dull to the fact dt he is working[/quote] |
