RESIGN NOW For Dereliction Of Duties, Wamakko To Service Chiefs, IGP by 1LRNZH: 2:23pm On Feb 08, 2015 |
Sokoto State Governor, Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko, on Sunday called on the service chiefs and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. Suleiman Abba, to resign immediately for orchestrating the postponement of the February general elections. Wamakko made the call following the postponement of the Presidential, National Assembly, governorship and state assembly elections to March 28 and April 11 for security reasons. Speaking with newsmen in Sokoto, Wamakko averred that all the service chiefs and the IGP should resign now for failing to perform their duties. He maintained that they had failed the nation and Nigerians and as such had no reason to remain in office. "The service chiefs and IGP should, therefore, honourably resign as they could not guarantee the elections as their statutory and civic duties," Wamakko said. The governor emphasised that the postponement of the election was uncalled for and not the required plausible solution to their phobia. According to him, the elections should have gone ahead on February 14 to allow Nigerians to elect the candidates of their choice in line with their quest for change. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/wamakko-to-service-chiefs-igp-resign-now-for-dereliction-of-duties/201273/ 1 Like |

Wamakko for your mouth? These janja-governors don't even think before they talk. He wants the service chiefs to resign because they raised genuine security concerns about why elections cannot hold? or because they were responsible for the disenfranchisement of over 30million southern voters by Jega in conjunction with the bloodsucking northern elders? Infact, these stewpid governors need to start getting a bit of curses people rain on GEJ. Wamakko is as clueless as an average almajiri. |

Bayswater: The only takeaway from your post is that you agree GEJ is clueless and you want to drag Wammako to his level by all means. 2 Likes |

LRNZH: LRNZH, 1LRNZH? I can see you janja-rats are already planning to take over nairaland through the backdoor like you always do. For your janja-mind, you don apply logic be that o, you need to stop attending arabic school Your sense of reasoning seems dodgy. |

kestolove95: Because most of the curses you APC goons direct at him should have gone to these under-performing governors in the first place. If the northern state governors have been doing their bit in ensuring every northern child has proper education, maybe we would not be talking about boko haram and insurgency today. There won't be need for GEJ to build almajiri schools for them. We need to start directing blames and curses to the right quarters. |

LRNZH: Yes...they are total failure....and only in Nigeria will service chiefs agreed to have failed in their primary assignment of protecting the territorial intergrity and sovereignity of a nation and the C-I-C will still retain them....and even keep patting them on the backs.... 1 Like 1 Share |

Ther Service Chiefs are an embarrasmment to their profession, and should be sacked. You had 6 years to correct the suituation and could'nt do anything. Chad and Niger came into the picture and within weeks are dealing with the Boko-Haram. It fuels speculation the army was compromised in the fight against Boko-Haram to maintain their budget which increase quadrupled after 2011 and when the Boko-Haram menace started. |
