Pele just try not to eat plenty food at a time. eat in bits and don't wait till u r super hungry before u eat. this helps you not to get too filled up and your body is also able to metabolise the food faster. instead of eating 3 times a day u can make it 6 times or take fruits in between the meals and then eat 3 timesbut don't heep the food like say tomorrow no dey.

u can keep d st louis and still get d huggies.Wots ur sis reason for using huggies in d first month. Me i didnt o, and my baby did very fine. The truth s dat there re plenty good and affordable diapers in d market. So d choice s urs

To the best of my understanding, the dull menstrual pain is a sign that your uterus is expanding. I had it too and now i'm 24 wks gone. It's normal.

Epidural is been done at Roding Hospital at 400K plus. It's located at Bode George, off Ajose Adeogun V.I.

Also at Gold Cross Hospital at V.I of the same cost stated earlier.

You've to indicate this option when you are registering for your antenatal, so that it can be specified on your file.

Hello mamas,I'm so happy as i finally saw my little cutie 2day. went for my scan 2day o,baby was jumping up n down...The result says baby is in breech position,placenta is posterior not low lying,pls wat does dat mean? And again base on my LMP I'm 17wks+2days but my scan says GA=15wks 5days why? Finally,wat is d meaning of BPP=3.21? Thanks in advance.

Posterior placenta means its lying to the back,which is no cause for alarm,its when its low lying that is an issue(placenta previa).
On the GA,the differential should not be a bother cos it isn't much, BPP I know is about fetal wellbeing test but don't know much about its technicality, nurse Kaffy go explain better.

Your scan result is very OK, ALL babies at this stage lie in a breech position,they even do a lot flips cos there is space enough to dance azonto and etighi. they turn down between 6.5/7-8mths, posterior just means backache fit dey small.

the placenta is ok,then the baby is not laying facing down but not to wori it'll still turn,thats all I know sabi mama's make una come help out

Welcome,For optimal care,you should go to a standard govt hospital with EXPERIENCED midwives and obgyns.. Asokoro District Hospital is the closest to nyanya. There is no good hospital around there unless you want to settle for a private one..

Use a cold compress, such as a cloth wrung out from iced water, to relieve the pain around your bottom.
Gently and thoroughly clean the affected area after you've done a poo. Wiping with moist toilet wipes can be more comfortable than using toilet tissue. Pat rather than rub yourself dry.
Try pushing the piles gently back into your rectum with a clean finger when you are having a bath or shower.
You can also sit in a bowl of warm water. That relieves the pain fast

The following tips will help you to avoid piles, as well as ease the symptoms if you have piles:
Eat a high-fibre diet, including wholemeal bread, cereal, wholewheat pasta and brown rice, and plenty of fruit and vegetables.
Drink between six and eight glasses of water every day, and avoid caffeine, so you don't become dehydrated.
Try to exercise regularly, even if it's just a short, brisk walk.
Go to the loo straight away when you feel the urge, as waiting can make your poo harder and drier.
Try not to strain while on the loo. If the poo isn't coming easily, take your time, or try again later after you've had a drink of water, some fibre, or had some exercise.
Try putting your feet up on a stool when doing a poo. It may make opening your bowels easier.
You could apply pressure with your fingers to the muscular area between your vagina and back passage (perineum) while having a poo. This stimulates a reflex that increases muscle tone in your rectum, and may make having a poo easier.
Do pelvic floor exercises daily. This may make having a poo easier, and prevent piles from developing by increasing the circulation around your bottom, and strengthening the muscles in your vagina, perineum and rectum. It will also help you to give birth and speed up your recovery afterwards.
