@veave Let me put up a defense against your initial allegations. Its true that we both no each other offline but then nothing much is involved. If you know herzumpther well enough, she is so down to earth and yes she is older than I am by a couple of years. We are just close. I didn't even want it to get here cause I knew stuff like this would spring up and it has. As for her hooking a guy, its up to her. To be honest am not pained or angry, just thought to clear the air. |

cococandy: Get a basmati rice that you cook for 10minutes. The very thin ones. Tats what I used . Meanwhile , adjust your taste buds cos you might not like it the first time. It's like going from eating normal bread to cassava bread |

I noticed sommething. D scent leave u get from village farm is different from what we have in d city. Just a handful and ur tongue will be on fire. But now, scent leave is used as ugu still it doesn't taste like d village one. Will cook concoction rice very soon. Akwu is used. Enough crayfish.m Onions. Smoked/iced fish. Enuf scent leave and pepper. Tomato is optional. No frying. (has any one tasted this before?) Cook this with local rice u will hate fried rice, party jollof rice etc. D only side effect then was,if u happen to eat it at night, d next morning ur eyes will look like Chinese eyes(for some people o) I miss this. |

moca:Wow banga on my mind. In Lagos I still find original scent leave. The easiest way to know the original one and the one they used fertilizer on is by the size of their leaves, the original one is always very small, that's the type you find in the village and the agric one is always very wide and will look very fresh. When you see the natural one in the market they tie it very small for 50 naira and the agric will be much for 50 naira but if you know scent leaf well, on seeing then you will know the original one immediately. Yes I've tasted banga rice before, I cook it very regularly. Yes it tastes better than fried rice especially when pepper catch the food. anything banga needs pepper else after eating you will just be pouring saliva everywhere. It tastes really nice when prepared with dried fish as you stated above. now I'm hungry for banger rice. Moca see what you have caused? When you are cooking your banga (akwu) rice tomatoes is never added...(I don't know if some people do but I don't and I don't ever use agric banga, I go for native ). Tomatoes will make it too thick and you won't get the real taste of the rice( thats for me o) and yes no frying. Abeg no forget to call me when e ready o lol. |
