@Blackfase, was there any need for the name calling? It is not civil to call people names; we can make our points known without being offensive. The other three did.

That said, there is time for everything under the sun but obedience to our grand commander is an order we should heed in season and out of it.
I know we are in the flesh, feel pains, especially for our loved ones; I have lost a very dear one too. But, Christianity is not about what we see now; our kingdom is not here. If we truly believe that the Master has gone to prepare a place for us in his Father's house, then we should pray God's will in every situation. We are told the earth will wax old like garment.
Why didn't Jesus allow John and his colleague to call down fire like Elijah? He told them that they were yet to know the Spirit in them.

In the Old testament, they were permitted to unleash war on flesh and blood because, their inheritance was a visible one. But today, our inheritance is spiritual and so is our war.

For me, I think there is going to be a repeat of 2Chronicles20. The enemies of Yahweh and his Christ will help to destroy themselves. But then, some of them would still turn to Him at the appointed time.

I am sorry, I wouldn't respond to any messages on this again. But let every Christian realize that something more important looms. May Jehovah grant us understanding.

NB
The above was for those who believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel. So, the argument of whether The Almighty exists or not wouldn't be entertained.

Thanks for your pointer. The bloke was rude. People need to understand on issues such as this, any for that matter, opinions and standpoints are bound to differ and divergent. Its my belief too that Christianity generally abstains from violence but what happens if its being attempted to be annihilated? Im not very versed in the Bible but we do know David fought wars, Israel is still sucked up in it till the present day. Even the muslim world have all come to agree theres the need to confront these monsters head on. And in conventional law and warfare, self defence is legitimate so what are we talking about?

Dont mind the hypocrite, tryin to form holier than thou. He should take a trip to reality, not too far from him somewher the northeast to see the carnage these beasts are wrecking to appreciate people need to stand up and face them be it militant christians or nominal muslims. Out of his love for total submission to the tenets of christiandom, he can willingly submit himself and have his balls chopped off and thank them, because according to him, the bible abhors violence. Generalismo my bum.... Nonsense!

thanks so much.

Christian fighters voluteers arriving in Iraq to fight ISIS after the latest beheading of Egyptian christians. Read some of the comments below...aint it inspiring?

– ‘Foreign fighters’ battalion’ –
Acting as a recruiter, Brett says he wants to establish a “foreign fighters’ battalion”.
In his first week in charge, he brought in five volunteers from the United States, Britain and Canada, all of whom he says have military or contracting experience.
The foreign contingent is tiny compared to the thousands of foreigners who have joined IS, but interest is growing and Brett says he has 20 more volunteers already lined up to join.
Brett’s first recruit was Louis Park, a mild-mannered Texan who retired from the Marines in December.
“I did not adjust well at peace time,” he said with dipping tobacco tucked in his lip. “I wanted to get back out here.”
After serving in Afghanistan, Park says he was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder “and some other things” that barred him from combat deployments.
As early as October 2014, he began saving money to join the fight against IS.
Park says he travelled to Iraq to continue defending his country, even though Dwekh Nawsha — with barely a few hundred fighters in its ranks — sees little frontline action.
“I’m patriotic as hell,” he says. “If my government won’t fight them I will.”
The growing contingent of foreign recruits have a variety of reasons for joining Dwekh Nawsha.
Andrew, an older man from Ontario, Canada, came because he heard about “slaughterhouses” where IS allegedly cuts people up for organ trafficking.
There is no evidence that such places exist but the rumour has been widely circulated by evangelical and anti-Islam organisations, especially in North America.
A video showing the beheading of 21 Coptic Christians by IS in Libya released on Sunday and entitled “A message signed with blood to the nation of the cross” sparked a fresh surge of calls on social media for tougher Western action.

Remember the history of the Christain Crusaders or the Night templars. They chased islam out of Europe and crushed them in Jerusalem. In this new world, I see Nigerian and other African Christians joining in the New Crusade.
Re: Photos; Christian Militants Arrive Iraq To Fight ISIS by blackfase(m): 1:28pm On Feb 20, 2015
Im in total support. Much as I respect the muslims to practice their faith, some elements amongst them cant hide behind some obnoxious jihadism to coerce people to join them. Its hell absurd. With this new direction, things have to change.
