All you need to do is to discuss with the market women that sells tomatoe\onions. Tell them you want to supply them onions or just tell them u have a bag of onions for sell. Before doing that dear, do your market survey. Find out the cost of a bag of onions in the major big markets in your location.
As for the profit margin, you have N2000 naira or more on a bag depending on the market or location.

I know sir. Like I said in one of my post that whenever my husband travel home, he usually buy plantain, palm oil, yam flour and garri to sokoto to sell. I sell them to the market women, return his capital and keep the profit. Also whenever I'm leaving lagos to sokoto, I do buy roasted panla fish (sorry I dont know what its called in english), I sell the fish immediately.

If you are in lagos, go to iddo terminal and ask to speak with the station manager. They load from there to Kano.
