Of course, you have nothing to celebrate in South-Africa.

The Nigerian Navy is well suited to carry out it's present and future threat requirements.

We have multiple capital vessels that are suited to provide extensive and the obligatory protection of our EEZ.

We cannot say the say for SA with it's mismatched assets.

Factually speaking, Nigeria has ZERO capital vessals

Factually speaking, Nigeria has ZERO vessals configured for conventional warfare

Congratulations on the formation of your coast guard, the SAN (between training for high intensity warfare) salutes you!!

Of the 4 vessels.

2 of them are new builds.

NNS Okpobana is also as good as new, as the Navy spent 8.5 million dollars on refurbishment.

While prosperity is a training ship.

What was stolen fool?

Still waiting for you to show us which one is a warship

And well done on spending that money... but need I remind you " a well polished turd, is still a turd"

Looks like your Engineers forgot to include emergency brakes for parking or stabilizers. If you need 6 rocks to stabilize the Rookie-kat, what will happen when it is on the move?
South African Army (SAA) = Stone Age Army(SSA)

Keeping rocks for emergency use! Your new name is the SAA (Stone Age Army)

If Zuma hasn't been diagnosed with dementia yet, then someone please take him to see a doctor soon!

This idiot actually had the audacity to say that the decision to combine seven existing forces to form the Sandf (South African Defence Force) at the end of Apartheid has now made South Africa’s military a force to be reckoned with on the African continent.

Hahahahahahaaaaaa. Hahahahahahaaaaaa........

Not sure what his Songoma has put in his smoking muti, but he either needs to lay off the crack pipe or go retire.

In reality, the current military in South Africa couldn't even fight off a few rebels in the Central Africa Republic in March last year, where 13 paratroopers were killed. They got their asses handed to them, and ran home with their tail between their legs.

And here's Zuma trying to re-write history - as good Communists do - and tell the world that the army today is better than it was under Apartheid.

Really?

Is that why you lot of chimps sat outside the SA border in your Qatro camp, raping and killing your fellow Blacks out of boredom? Is that why you had to resort to blowing up innocent people at train stations and in restaurants to cause panic, because you couldn't form an army even if we paid you?

We took down the Communist invasion in Angola with a few White boys and some clever generals. We had a couple of thousand against tens of thousands, and STILL you commie terrorists couldn't break into the country.

Bunch of amateur losers.

What we had was traitors within our own government selling out our country to a bunch of murdering communist Black terrorists. Period.

You won nothing Zuma, you intellectually challenged nincompoop.

And today, this buffoon named Zuma gives out medals because his big, brave military managed to run a funeral for the Dead Terrorist:

"The president also says the Sandf’s management of Madiba’s funeral and several memorial services has demonstrated its capacity to deal with major events."

Wow - what accomplishments! No need to win battles these days, just as long as the military can deal with "major" events like a few funerals and memorial services - you get medals for free!

What a pathetic joke this president is.

What an utter, utter embarrassment.

Nigeria has 51 capital vessels in service.

So much for training for "high intensity" warfare with your SUB spending 7 years at the Docks, or with your A109's spending more time grounded in 2014, and of course, your 9 Gripen pilots for 26 planes.

"You're actually very well prepared."

On the other hand, the Nigerian Navy has built a comprehensive security architecture which allows for a comprehensive surveillance of our EEZ using long range camera's, satellites, ships and air-borne assets all connected to the wider RIMPAC network using a series of data links.

Can we say the same for SA........ NO!

South African army is worse, about 230 units of Olifant tanks in SANDF, only 26 units have modular armour and it is not all round protection, only the vital areas have modular passive armour, the other parts of your re-welded and re-painted 1970s old generation tanks have ordinary welded steel RHA armour that Boko Haram will penetrate with HEAT warhead shoulder carried RPG.

Over 200 SANDF Olifant tanks are still having the ancient 1940s invented steel armour....your tank force of those 200 will all be k.illed by 5 Nigerian T-72 tanks with ERA armour in 30 minutes.

You should look well at your obsolescent army arsenal before you talk, get it ?

Yes, the business of the sea arm of your armed forces is not to fight at sea. But to patrol.

Valour frigate is NOT an OPV for constant patrolling and you already ruined 3 of them with engine fatigue grin

I proved Nigeria's Otomat missiles have not expired, other navies who bought Otomat same time with us are still test firing theirs very recently or still have them on board their warships like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela.

Show us war and we will revive NNS Aradu with Otomat missiles, it's range is superior to your Valour frigates overrated Exocets

Nigeria has no threat of any hostile navy vessel, all we see are criminal pirates, so we can afford to reserve NNS Aradu and sail around in OPVs, a navy fights the war it sees, not the video game war it imagines.

On monday after the battle ended on Sunday General Shoke(CSANDF) held a press brief, telling South Africans the troops are still on the ground and that the military was awaiting further instructions from its political masters.

This while Gripens, Rooivalks, a battalion and more systems were being deployed around CAR so is the president said "Go" Seleka already mauled would be wiped in hours.

What was shocking? South Africa for the first since withdrawing from Namibia deploying its combat aircraft outside its boarders? Yes shocking!

Also the troops fought from Friday to Sunday! No running away. Unlike some whom run out of ammo within 2 hours of a battle.

Fact is your soldiers desert pure cowards! No command and control!
