more like you were cowed by the french government, the same french government that cameroon is now boldly defying.
your troops were slaughtered like babarians under the sword of rome by child rebels.seleka smote your paratroopers with the edge of the sword, leaving your soldiers running in wild panic under the umbrella of france.your troops failed, period.

Yet we killed over 600 of those child soldiers until they cried for their mommies.

What about Nigerian troops who have been slaughtered and even beheaded by these rag tag BH child soldiers?

BH isnt an army of rag tag child soldiers,it is an organised islamic terror complex supported by international allies and fielding trained guerilla fighters from the arabs and even france.

you are always backward with the current news and affairs or is it because you live in SA and seem to have forgotten about that small nigeria

NUNU RIBADU is a member of the rulling party

Chief!! that was just the same. That was a man who was directly involved in procuring those illegal, rusty and second hand weapons which were acquire from the back door in the black market. Surely, they should have got all the information from SA mercenaries.

I won't repeat same post 77 times, I posted world news report last month showing Venezuela still test fired their Otomat missiles very recently and they bought in 1980s same time with Nigeria. Otomats don't expire short-time like you imagine, they are expensive high grade missiles with very long life. Some missiles last 45 years. Saudi Arabia too still uses their Otomat mounted on ships, they have not been test firing because they don't have to.

Otomat Mk 1 range is increased to 80 km when you fire two in salvo, it's an extra-ordinary kind of missile :

Source Harpoon Databases, I posted that here many times last year, I wont repeat it

https://www.nairaland.com/415620/strongest-military-africa/945

There is no such citation on the page you claim.

Otomat range: 60km

Over 200 units of SANDF Olifant tabks have ancient RHA armour from 1970s vintage, the tank itself is of 1960s origin with 1940s capability grin

5 units of Nigerian army T-72 with ERA armour will eat up all your 200 units of Olifant ancient tanks.....repainted Centurion grand-father tanks
.

Is the Olifant the same as the Centurion?

It was not my explanation, it was the manufacturer's technical operation mechanism of Otomat missile explained on Harpoon Databases.

I am tired of repeating old posts on this thread because you Southies are just fvcking liars and frauds filled with inferiority complex, you make me leave this forum and watch TV instead.

I posted it here July 6th, 2014 with weblink source and photo screen image of the webpage, PROVED BEYOND ANY DOUBT ON PLANET EARTH !

https://www.nairaland.com/415620/strongest-military-africa/948

"The Otomat is an unusual missile. The four double-delta wings are each mounted on an air intake and are tipped with a datalink antenna.. Between two of the wing pairs are a pair of solid rocket launch boosters which are jettisoned after four seconds. A radar altimeter is fitted to the underside. The jet engine is to the rear along with the cruciform guidance fins. The missile comes sealed in a fiberglass container that needs maintenance only once a year. Launch is via the MM/OJ-791 operator console.

Inbuilt missiles internal datalink allows two Otomats stagger-fired to “cooperate” and extend their maximum range from 35NM to 43 ¼ NM or 80 km range." SOURCE : Harpoon Databases.

It shocked everybody on this forum last year, so shuut up and live with the fact, Otomat MK 1 range when two missiles are fired in salvo is 80km and it beats the 70km of your weaker Exocet missile. tongue tongue

.

How are you going to fire the exocet?

It is wrong as usual, does not include Nigeria's new weapons purchases in hundreds, T-72, BTR-4, RM-70 MRLS, BVP-1, CH-3 Missile Drones, CS-VP3 MRAPS, Spartan MK III, Igirigi 23mm x 2 cannon, New night combat Alpha jets with PGM, Puma armed helicopters, Gazelle armed helicopters, NNS Centenary, NNS Okpabana, NNS Sangbama, Mi-35 Hind E, Mi-171 armed Terminators, too many including weapons SANDF has never dreamed of in their lives[/size]

..

Nigeria does not have most of those weapons.

- t72 = trash
- BTR4 - badger is better
- RM-70 MRLS - you dont have it
- BVP-1 - you dont have it
- CH-3 - you dont have it
- MRAPS - wow, MRAPS what a game changer (not)
- Alpha jets - not a gripen
- Puma - not armed
- Gazelle - you have one
- Ships - lightly armed police boats
- Helicopters - inlfated numbers and obsolete airframes impress no one

First you said last year that Nigeria has NO SINGLE T-72 tank, now you say we have less than 26 units....why did you change your foolish mind ?

Secondly, Nigeria is proved to have over 100 units of T-72 tanks already in service, and when Ukraine delivers the delayed units, we will have about 200 units of T-72 tanks.

Thirdly, we have T-72 tanks from 3 different countries, the new batch delivery from Czech republic alone was 58 units of T-72 tanks.

http://ftr.wot-news.com/2015/02/01/czechs-sell-tanks-to-nigeria-to-fight-boko-haram/

SANDF has only 26 units of modernized refurbished re-welded repainted Olifant tanks with fairly good passive armour, all the rest of your Olifant tanks are ancient versions with ordinary RHA armour that Nigerian T-72 tanks will eat for breakfast with 125mm gun tongue tongue
.

Why cant you post a single citation to prove your numbers?

I have seen a few photos and I estimate your numbers to be around 5

Are you blind? I just posted the weblink and you are still asking the same foolish question, thou d.ullard of Gauteng society grin grin

The source above quoted 58 units of T-72 tanks landed in Nigeria from Czech. Add Ukrainian sales and the 3rd country.

"Vile islamist barbarians from the Boko Haram sect will have their lives get a bit harder soon. Czech company Excalibur Group, led by a former armorer Pavel Strnad, managed to acquire as many as 58 T-72 tanks (T-72M1 variant) from Hungary to sell them – with other heavy military equipment – to the army of Nigeria, locked in a savage conflict with the brutal sect."

False, large majority of your weapons were acquired as second hands and illegitimately as even confirmed by Nigerian military. They even tried to acquire them illegally from SA, remember.

1 gripen= thousands of drones

1 ingwe= 1 T72, MRAPS, BTR, etc.
dude there is no morality in the international system. Nations get things done, achieve their policies and meet their goals by some of the most ridiculous means you could ever think of. only an infant in international politics would look on this with surprise. when you see leaders and ministers of two nations signing deals in public, shaking hands in fancy suits you feel diplomacy or interstate relation is a nice open business, not knowing the details of the activities that have gone down. All you need to know right now is that the Nigerian government is procuring equipments for its Army by all means necessary.

Seleka is not important. The life of an SANDF member is more expensive than that of Seleka and Nigerian soldier. If an SANDF soldiers are killed in action, the media will run after the developments until their final days when they are finally laid to rest. Nigerian soldiers are not important at all, they are just like Seleka rebels who are buried secretly in one single shallow grave.
