They'll likely do a jungle exercise this year, as they've previously done cold and mountainous in Lesotho, Desert in Namibia, sea and land in Angola.

Not much written is about the Angolan sf, during the boarder war they were used for close reccon.

Great vid but not impressed cuz I didn't see any low life fall from the 30mm or the twin explosion

The Chadians use MI-17 MTV-5, this is an MI-17terminator1SH. Not the same.

Yes, Angola is part of SADC.

The exercise took place inn Angola last year.

This is just glory hunt by the west. They didn't do any flintlock when BH was running riot, they refused us lethal weapons, now that BH is receiving a pasting these latter day converts want to parachute in and claim to be part of the success. This camping trip has NO impact whatsoever on the fight against BH, I am glad no Nigerian SF operators spoke to yeye CNN. Failure is an orphan but success has many fathers.

I don't think so. Infact, their government is just as bad as the rest of Africa in terms of photos released.

What happens is, military enthusiasts just like us on this thread, have powerful camera's with which they take photos with, either at their military bases or in the city.

Most of the SANDF photos in this thread are private photos.

They also have a good number of dedicated military news sites.

So for example, Exercise Obangame or the commissioning of 4 warships in Nigeria, instead of going with only a video camera, like our journalists do, they go with both a video camera, and a standard camera.
