Noviolence2015:there is nothing like federal shariah court anyehere sir. The north has Shariah court of appeal (state owned) and that is theor own type of custonary court of appeal which doninates the south, especially the south south with strong customs In the middle belt, you will find equal amount of sharia and customary courts of appeal. Federal govt has nothing to do with shariah courts or customary courts. It falls in the same region as our traditional institutions which are purely under state govts |

praxisnetworks: Buhari should account for $2billion missing while he was Minister of Petroleum Resources. Buhari should account for N27billion Naira mismanaged when he was chairman of PTF Buhari should tell us the source of money used to donate to the needy by his wife. This one curiously done during election period. Buhari should tell us what charity organization pays for his children's school fees in the UK. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Amina Lawal... Nigerians can't forget that she is a victim of the system Buhari is advocating for. In 2002, negative light was brought to sharia in northern Nigeria when Amina Lawal, a single mother in Katsina State, was accused of adultery and sentenced to death by stoning by a state Sharia court for conceiving a child out of wedlock; the father was released without conviction for lack of evidence. Lawal's conviction provoked outrage both in southern Nigeria and the West, with many national and international NGOs lobbying the federal government to overturn her conviction. In 2004, the conviction was overturned by the Sharia court of appeal, and Lawal returned to private life. 1 Like 1 Share |

It is entirely pathetic how screwed some youths in this country have become. What happened to "Buhari wept" and promised never to seek public office at the presidential level. Buhari is dangerous for the advancement of democracy in Nigeria. Opposition have a voice today because Gej created a level playing field for all. That in itself is advancing our democratic tenets. It only make sense to vote him back in so as to stablelise our democracy than taking us back to the dictatorial days of Nigeria. 2 Likes 2 Shares

Op stop been mischievous, GMB said shariah law is in same line with civil law which is restricted to some certain places, if someone wanna rule with shariah that means your are going to alter the constitution & the constitution is above both shariah & civil law, so the national assembly will folds it hand & pass shariah into law abi? besides GMB stated it clearly that he's going to rule in accordance with constitution. |

alaoeri: If the National Assembly is controlled by the APC and you have a President with the will power to implement sharia, would he not? Less I remind you that at local level sharia can easily spread across all states through the protection of Muslims fundamental human rights. Just as churches are everywhere, so do we have mosque built across the country even in the south east . What stops Rochas and his colleagues singing same song as the President? Sharia cannot be at the same level as customary law because it is monstrous and limits the freedom of a people especially women. |

Noviolence2015:Do you that some universities offer sharia law eg unilorin, there is a sharia court in Ibadan those that affect the whole of Ibadan? GMB have stated it clearly that he will rule under the guidance of the constitution & attempt to alter it national assembly will be involve, so you are now telling me SW,SS,SE & NC legislators even in APC will back the inclusion of sharia law into the constitution? haabaa. |

alaoeri: Keep calm and know that the constitution is always subject to review. Just as Jonathan did push for the local content act in the oil and gas sector and equally amended our electoral act Buhari can push for the amendment of constitution towards achieving his long held dream to islamatize Nigeria. |

senorova: Gej and GMB are not on the same level. The crisis we have in the North was duly promised to Nigerians and Gej by the Northern elites. Otherwise, Nigeria has thrived. You create Boko haram to kill your own people and you think you are undermining Gej, it yourself you are undermining. Buhari's records are ridiculously alarming in negativity to even been put side by side with President Jonathan's records. 1 Like 1 Share |
