Boring, boring, boring! Both sides are as bad as the other! Hurl insults and rubbish the opposition and whoever throws the most mud will win the election! What about actual POLICIES! A political party has MANY policies (or at least should have). I see almost EVERY thread on Nairaland being politicised with this election nonsense and insults being bandied back and forth! What about constructive debate? What about the policies? Jonathan seems to have done good economically - a plus. He seems to have failed to tackle corruption - a minus. Buhari seems to be saying good things for the future - a plus. He has a bad history of dictatorship - a minus. Balance these in a rational manner and make a LOGICAL CHOICE BASED ON POLICIES! I think it will really be decided on tribalism! I weep for Naija. 1 Like 1 Share |

I am apolitical but I think I need to comment on this . FFK needs to know that attacking personalities rather than issues would not make me vote PDP. He should concentrate more on what PDP would do better than APC. Though the change we need is not change of politicians/ political office holders but change of system, structures, ideologies . I don't see any reasonable change when somebody served 8yrs as a governor under PDP but had issues with the party hierarchy then moved to APC now wants me to vote for "CHANGE". Maybe his pocket anyway? 2 Likes |

An honest PDP politician, an honest APC politician and SANTA CLAUS were walking down the street in Lagos and they saw a 1000 naira note! Which one picked it up? SANTA CLAUS of course! Why? The other two could not pick anything up - they don't exist! 2 Likes |

Martins301: For six years, Boko Haram has been unleashing deadliest violence against Nigeria. Now it is turning out that Buhari is the main beneficiary from Boko Haram long war against Nigeria. Because much of Buhari voters next election shall be people worried that the government of GEJ may not provide them with security. For years, Buhari had expressed sympathy for Boko Haram. For example, Buhari said Boko Haram are freedom fighters that must not be fought against by Nigerian government. Boko Haram says it is fighting for a country friendly with the practice of Sharia criminal laws like stoning women to death for adultery and cutting off hands of petty thieves. And in Kaduna in 2001, Buhari said the same sharia criminal laws needed to be implemented in all of Nigeria. So unless you are an Islamic extremist, there is nobody in his right mind that would go for Buhari as president of a multiple-religious country like Nigeria. Buhari as president of Nigeria shall be a recipe for disaster in the country. 3 Likes |

Ogbeni ffk should stop pointing accusing finger, in the first place, GEJ never accept that this girls are missing, and to be frank, what took this long to declare war against BH. We Nigerians knew that they are politise our life for power, some time last yr, the security officer came out to tell the world that they had killed sekau, later this yr again, they had sekau in their custody, and also recently, they are working modality to arrest sekau alive, pls who is fooling who, GEJ should stop wasting wasting our life and resources cos of power. Let Nigerians decide who will govern them not by rigging election like that of ekiti state, is a shame on our leaders and the military personell. |

This is my first time ever, hopefully the last, im supporting FFK in the issue of APC, Tinubu and Lagos state. The reason im going for Agbaje in Lagos is something called change! Its not about APC or PDP-its about change. Lagos is bigger than everybody in it-including Tinubu just as GEJ is but a human being in Nigeria. Call a spade a spade. You guys can go an investigate the tax businesses in lagos pays and WHERE they actually go to! How long?! 3 Likes 1 Share |
