Thanks guys, lemme explain wat I mean. M single, I have 3 siblings, all togeda we re 6 (mum, dad nd myself). Altho my sis is married nw. What I wanna knw is if my family size is 6? Sorry if the question seems stupid. I need to know. GOD BLESS. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by labiz001: 12:46pm On Mar 08, 2015 |
vicross: Not silly though but your family size is 1. If your Dad is the applicant then is family size is 6 and also those married can still be taken off is neck when considering settlement fund. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by hmnnn: 2:51pm On Mar 08, 2015 |
vicross: Its only you that can apply, what they mean by family is your dependants, e.g your wife and children. Your siblings would have to apply separately |

Just read today complains from some people who are already in the pool but suddenly got a message earlier today i guess, that they are not eligible, has anyone here got same? Some others got the message that their profile has been updated but, the people in question didn't see any change. We don't know yet if it's a system glitch. We pray no bad news for anyone o, in Jesus name |

sevule: Wow, That is pretttty fast. Now you have awaken my curiosity/excitement/anxiety which has reduced since I got my PER. lol. My application was received 3rd of Nov and I got my Per 29th of Jan. Now I feel like I might be getting the same news too. heheheh. Pls, whats your NOC and also is your visa office Accra? Do you know if they reached out to your employer(s)? I am excited for you though, Congratulations.... |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by sevule(m): 9:59pm On Mar 09, 2015 |
Lenta: @Lenta Thanks for the kind word. My NOC is NOC 2172 (Database Analyst and Administrator) and my visa office is the one in the US because that's where I currently reside. To the best of my knowledge I do not think that they contacted my employers but I may be wrong since the last time I spoke with my ex-boss was when I needed to get the work certificate. Surprisingly they didn't ask for any additional documentation after they received my initial application. I do hope your letter comes in soon. Keep your fingers crossed! |

Hello great people. please can someone help with the following 1. Is the novia scotia nominee program NSNP still on going? 2. While sending NSNP application, should one go to CIC website and pay fee instantly with credit card or download and attach the Fee Payment Form[IMM 5620] and give credit card details for deduction. God bless you all. |

Biadroit: Sadly,it looks like you are out of the FSWP race. It's confusing though that your relative in Canada who works with CIC is giving you a false hope/assurance. You will need to gain reasonable assurance that your relative is giving you the information correctly. As at the last check, the maximum number of 25,000 cap for 2014 FSWP has been reached.

skidmarkz: @Skidmarkz I haven't been issued the visa yet. I first have to do medicals but I do believe that the PR visa lasts for 5 years and it is renewable |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by skidmarkz: 10:51am On Mar 10, 2015 |
sevule: Hi bro Sevule, I understand about the validity of 5 years once you land in Canada. My question is that once the Canadian embassy in your country issues you with an initial visa (arrival visa), how long do you need to come to Canada before you become a PR there? Please let us know later once it has been issued. Thx |

@Solomomwis, Regarding Biadroit's issue, if the maximum number has been reached, why would he be issued a UCI? Don't you think his UCI counts towards the maximum number reached? Cheers. |
