Then I bursted into a serious laughter even Dh came to join me in my supposed joyous state. Thereafter I eased out some Sclera cleansers . But I need experienced mamas to tell me how to use this Clomid effectively, being the first Clomid cycle the Doctor proposed. (don't Forget I have three cycles to take it viz 50-100-100).

One more thing, I want this cycle to be free of brooding in this my ttc journey. So I want the ever delicious catering mamas to teach me some new things that will occupy my time like: MEAT/FISH PIE, EGG ROLL, CAKE BAKING(i want to improve on it), SPECIAL DISHES AND anything at all. Pls am so serious about this so I don't develop hypertension at my age (My BP was 130/80 last month, compare to the normal 110/60). This month must NOT PASS without our Songs on this page. So I want to suggest that we announce our bfps and coments this month starting with our favourite songs on this page. Baby sawdust to us all (you know say when breeze carry this sawdust, even your throat sef go hear am)

@Deigs.... The reason for day 10 is to ensure you're not ovulating nor pregnant. Cos the Liquid that will be passed into your Uterus will surely interfere with these states and there may be untoward effects. Mine fell on a Saturday, and they couldn't do it for me, so it was postponed till Monday and I was strictly warned to abstain from bd from day 4 of my cycle till day 12 that it was done. So if you know when you ovulate and you're not there yet, then you can go for it. But if otherwise, pls wait till the next cycle so as to avoid any from of regrets. My little advice, ask your doc to give you painkiller or local anaesthesia before the procedure or (take some diclofenac like 30min before time.) it helped me a little sha

I did hormonal profile last year September n d doc said there was high prolactin,also did sonoHsg .I was placed on Dostinex a k a cabergoline for three months.I took d first bottle religiously for 1st month n I bought d second but abandons.I was thinking of resuming the dostinex after two months n then God gave me a surprise of bfp .May be d first dostinex did the wonders .But Almighty God is to be praised.

My dear, what were your dh's SFA figures? The idea of a ttc mum undertaking tests alone sometimes doesn't go well. You have to convince dh to start with you. This is to avoid, doctor av certified me ok, go for urs. I bet you, he'll never want to hear that as the first thought to him will be he's infertile. Pls ans pls, try convince him to see a doc with you for the tests. Men are still men and don't feel what the woman feels. But if you guess you av an underlying cause, then proceed if you're not able to convince him to start with you. In all, don't forget the Giver of children. @Redeemed 4cm is big, and in your case multiple? Please seek second opinion. It may not interfer with conception if outside the uterus, but will definitely interfer with pregnancy if you take in. That's why ttc mums with big fibroids are adviced to remove it to reduce miscarriage.

Some hospitals insist on cd10. But it can be done any time from once af stops to cd10. So if you've passed cd10, please wait for next cycle. Better safe than sorry.

@Apple19, didnt your Dr prescribe the clomid with other drugs. Some include metformin, trigger shots, baby aspirin (vasoprin 75mg) to clomid cycles. Other drugs like dexamethasone, progesterone etc could also be added depending on ur conditions & what ur tests say.

You can also add supplements like vit C, E, B6, folic acid, fish oil.

Hope you're tracking ovulation & following SME (spe.rm meets egg) strategy!
The recommended procedure for tracking now is TVS (transvaginal scan). This is most efficient, clear&accurate, & is associated with less anxiety when compared to other methods like using opk's, BT charting etc. It enables one to be exactly sure of what is happening with the clomid. Though its expensive, but most Drs now prefer to go by it. If one must go on clomid pls TVS is strongly recommended everyother day at least 2/3times, starting from 4days before expected O'day, then once after O'day to ensure the egg popped.
This would also help ensure against the development of cyst. If they find out clomid makes the follicles grow but that they don't pop, then HCG trigger shots can be added to the clomid cycle.
