Ngwakwe:Just like Doyin Okupe said in one media chat, time-honoured trends invariably play out in politics. There are pundits and analysts who have been in this game for so long. We don't bandy words with the vociferous crowd but rely on the fact that the future/events always vindicate the objective. This piece mirrors an earlier expose' I did on the likely outcome of the election in the South West. As is expected, I was barracked and called names. |

integralng: Your welcome. As you can see, Most of the so called experts on how the Yorubas will vote avoided your post totally. When facts are presented, Junk and half baked Isi ewu analysis will be shredded to bits. I feel sorry for Jonathan if he is pinning his hopes on the OPC. Any armed illiterate OPC miscreant that tries to interfere with the voting process will be severely dealt with. Enough said 6 Likes |

Missy89: Lol. You've got time to waste on an obtuse illiterate, with pay-as-you-speak conjectures induced by asinine rhetoric. I'll like to read Uncle Gbawe's analysis (since Pukkah, the big Uncle eGuerilla, and dapper don Kats aren't regulars anymore). Not some vacuous oaf who just started learning how to put words together a few months ago...and had to beg for protection over his redundant opinions on a faceless forum. 7 Likes |

barcanista: Why are you lying carelessly like this?? Below is a FB post of a very prominent Ogun state indigene about GEJ visit to Awujale....just like in Ogun state, many of these PDP leaders in various states in SW are mostly deceiving GEJ. The Oba pointedly told him that before any discussion at all he should first reimburse Amosun for the cost of mobalufon flyover-bridge done by Amosun across the Expressway....a bridge the Ijebus see as a life and time saver which no previous admin ever thought of doing until Amosun did it. Never and never you put popularity contest of Amosun and GEJ on the same page in Ogun state. Tell me a strong grassroot mobilizer working for GEJ in Ogun Central presently now...even Caterpillar (bankole dad) prefers Amosun to continue. In Ogun Central...Buhari will win...Ogun East...Buhari will win as their son is on the ticket ( Kashamu can barely do nothing ) and in Ogun West...GNI factor is completely negligible as the people don't really connect with him since the see his coming as the return of OGD... All in all....APC will coast home comfortably in Ogun states in both the governorship and Presidential elections. I will advise you to stop discussing the politics of the SW....doing so will only keep exposing the level of your ignorance about the undercurrent of politics of the region. 6 Likes

Rilwayne001:I've met a lot of igbos and Niger Deltans that don't share the GEJ/PDP sentiment too. People are becoming fast aware that there's no perfect govt but they're certainly better options. Just taking a long good look at the current PDP members, their utterances and actions makes my skin crawl. I used to think all Politicians are the same but this current PDP crop are beyond despicable. 4 Likes |

ilugunboy:I had a conversation with a lady whose boss was part of those that recieved the dollar rain from GEJ. He settled them an mandated them to go campaign on GEJ's behalf. She really complained a lot on the hostility she received......and she isn't even going to vote GEJ in the first place. 2 Likes |

ba7man: What an unfortunate sweeping comment coming from supposedly susuper - intelligent Albert Einstein! Till death, I will favour humility over intelligence. The zenith of knowledge and intelligence is modesty in one's assessment of their abilities and limitations. So, next time, do not try to present yourself as someone that's smarter than all the millions of people supporting GEJ. Good morning. |

Descartes:Yes. I also do same on market women and the aged people around me who always listen to "koko N'inu Iwe Iroyin", "Oro Po", "Eleti Ofe", etc. Those are Yoruba versions of newspaper review in all the Yoruba-speaking states, including Kwara and Kogi states. Don't forget, in all of these states the APC controlled governments have their state-owned radio stations. In Ondo State which is not APC-controlled, there is Adaba FM situated where Ekiti State can also receive signal. 1 Like |

slimmy05:I hardly reply comments from loosely trained brat like you...If I decide to spend my whole day campaigning for whom I love, there is no harm there. It is my funeral.I did the same for him in 2011 when doing so was not that popular in Lagos here.I used my personal funds to do more than 100 campaign T-shirts,souvenirs etc for GMB in 2011.More than 1000 friends of mine on facebook started supporting GMB for this election because of my long-standing support for the man.I feel more relaxed campaigning this time than in 2011.I conducted a mock presidential poll on my facebook on the 14 Feb 2015 and I received 100% affirmation for GMB.This is a pointer to how the election will go considering the background of array of friends I have on facebook. What I do is not for any pecuniary gains but for the overall interest of this country.I want a country where my children will be secured...By God's grace I can eke out a living for myself...Since 2006,I have been running my independent company. And I thank God for his blessings. What I need from federal govt are basic:security, constant electricity and viable economy. That is all... 4 Likes |

dein77:Its open knowledge that GEJ is unintelligent and highly crude and unexposed. "Ordinary stealing is not corruption", "People are buying private jets so the economy is booming", "Chibok girls are not dead because their bodies haven't been lined up in Boko haram videos"...............I mean, how daft can one get Before we add his wife, the National situation and his official hanger on's to the list. Forget it, GEJ is daft and those that line up with him have warped logic (My opinion). 4 Likes |

barcanista: Dude where do you get your facts from?? Seriously you just sit whatever you are and just spew these things. I'm from there, there's no week my dad doesn't go home and you're here saying what you don't know. It's not about APC or PDP, I don't care to join any party even though I've been offered. I'm leaning APC because I believe they're a better option right now. I don't need to twist facts, I don't need it for anything believe me. I have APC contacts, I have PDP (Agbaje) contacts so at the end of the day, I'll be fine but I just want the best for my country. I don't come on Nairaland to talk just because. You come and say Buhari is not being talked about, are you kidding?? This is where you fail. You sit down here and talk victory for GEJ like it's smooth sailing meanwhile he can't sit his bottom down in Abuja, he has spent more time here than in any place. How many times has he been to Ogun and Lagos?? Why's he not spending all that time in Enugu or Anambra his pillar or whatever he said?? Please ask for a refund from whoever is giving you information about Ogun State. 4 Likes |
