The national leader of All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has challenged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to charge him to court over its allegation that he embezzled the state’s resources. He disclosed this at the 14th Town Hall meeting of Lagos central senatorial district tagged: “Treading the Path To Prosperity,” organised by Senator Oluremi Tinubu on Wednesday. According to him, if they were feeling the pain of Bola Tinubu, they would not attack me. This is eight years I left Alausa as governor, they should go to court and prosecute me if I have embezzled the state’s fund. “They said I acquire Lagos funds, this is my stomach still flat. Afterall, I did not tell the electorates that I did not have shoe before I was voted in the office,” he said. The former governor of Lagos State said that this was time for PDP to leave the seat of power, saying thousands of graduates died in the name of fighting to secure job. www.Monitor9ja.com |

Abi, instead of them blackmailing his person. They are free to go to court. I think PDP and their members are all liers and hypocrites. .Many PDP governors were probed yet it is hard to probe Tinubu despite being thier worse enemy. Don't worry, you will be charged but there are more important issues to be tackled for now. On a serious note, GEJ can't charge any of them to court just like GMB has promised not to probe or investigate any past leader. Nigeria is more complex than these small children here crying change. You can't bring real change without going back down the history of Nigeria especially the civil war, you can't bring change without changing the constitution, you can't bring change when lawmakers and some tribal elements are envious of the PIB and as such trying to make sure it doesn't work. We need complete overhauling until then, we will keep having a situation where a presiednt uses the security institutions to witch hunt his opponents e.g Obasanjo and EFCC. |

If Tinubu was ready for transparency he should tell his stooge Governor Fashola to grant various FOI Requests by stakeholders so we can diagnose the ko-ko. How can you probe someone when the State Government has vowed never to cooperate with Federal Agency? How can you probe when there isn't transparancy?
