APC now come up with articles such as 'Buhari has never planned coup'. Yet he gave corruption and indiscipline reasons for overthrowing Shagari's government.

Is there corruption as bad as overthrowing a civilian government, the people's government? It is the greatest crime in any country of the world.

Would Buhari have been qualified to contest election if he was a Briton or American?

Candid opinions devoid of political allegiance.

George Bush committed grievous crime than Osama bin Laden.

Uhuru Kenyatta was having case of genocide at the International Criminal Court ICC when he became president.

Gen Muhammadu Buhari is a clean man in political arena. The gentle look on Jonathan is a facade.

In essence, there is no place on this planet where saints are ruling.

The beauty of democracy is that; it allows you to vote against anyone you don't want in government. All PPD extra curricular activities of the last four years about Buhari are not enough to tarnish Buhari's image. The man is still standing like a rock. If you have problem with Buhari being on the ballot, just go and vote against him on March 28. I don't want to hear the rant coming from you and your TANoid crew.

We're talking about coup d'etat here. I mean overthrowing a democratic government, walks free and still comes to seek presidency on the same platform.
Have you read America's constitution on such crimes? It has a higher magnitude than any corruption.

Political affiliation aside, speak the truth. I don't mean Jonathan is better.

YES
If FIDEL CASTROL can be elected as the democratic President of Cuba, then Buhari is more than worthy.

Nigeria's constitution is a replica of America's constitution. Nigeria's democracy was not mature then and the level of corruption was so high that the coup was a timely decision.

Could you imagine the then CBN governor saying: ''the problem of Nigeria wasn't how to make money but how to spend it?''

Shehu Shagari and Alex Ekwueme were too weak to rule an independent nation. The effects of oil boom, civil war and corruption was more than they could handle. The military was the only alternative we had then.

It can happen anywhere, Gadafi overthrown the Idris to become the leader of Libya.

And you're deeply convinced all these points of yours do justify the overthrow of a democratically elected government? In saner climes, GMB won't even come anywhere near!

Good point. But I hope you know that the worst democratic government is better than the best military government.

How can you proof that? The best administration we have ever had in Nigeria happened to be military governments (Gowon, Muritala and Buhari/Idiagbon regimes). I hate hearing that lie from some Nigerians

How can you prove that Gowon , Murtala , Buhari governments were the best in Nigeria? Were you born or how old were you during those regimes?

When the desirable is not available, the available becomes desirable. Had Buhari not come into the governance then Matacini would have finished Nigeria.

The coup of Gen. Buhari was never seen as a mistake by any well meaning Nigerian. Freedom is good but not everybody can manger it.

Ask those who were alive as adult in the 70s and 80s. I witnessed good governance during that time.

Democratically government indeed. Don't forget that Nigeria was growing then.

How old was Nigeria in 1983?

What exactly led to the civil war?
If you don't know, it was corruption. When another civil unrest was looming, Buhari nip it in the bud. We should all be grateful to the daring General.

Maybe not. Neither will a NOT OUR GENERATION
Asking me to vote for Buhari because of the
persistent insecurity caused by Boko haram
activities in the north east region of the country,
is like asking Americans to vote for Osama Bin
Ladento replace then President George Bush Jr in the wake of
9/11 bombing of the World Trade Center by the Al-queida terrorist group. You can't repay terrorists or their supporters and
sympathizers by voting them into power. The
happenings in some middle East countries where the terrorists groups of HAMAS & ISIS hold power is a
pointer to what will happen in Nigeria should
Buhari,a known supporter, sympathizer and possibly
sponsor of Boko haram becomes president
tomorrow. Guard your future jealously, do not
mortgage your children's future into the hands of
a terrorist.Nigeria open your eyes for your future to be seen.. holder without dissertation.

Don't forget that Fidel Castro's influence started and ended in Cuba. How many countries outside Cuba did he influence? Making Cuba a socialist nation did not make him the greatest although I enjoying seeing countries that resist western ( esp American) influence.

But with the fact that he drew international attention to Cuba and his resistance of the western made Cuba a political power when compare to Nigeria
