I cannot even reasonably conceive the miracle that PDP/Jonathan will perform to win this election.

It is going to be a landslide for APC/GMB. I predict 60% or 65% for GMB to 35% and 40% for GEJ.

You know that PDP is done and dusted the moment Okupe released a prediction of how they will win and such prediction includes the following ridiculous figures like: Jigawa - 60%, Borno - 50%, Kogi 70% and 60% across Lagos, Oyo, Ogun and Ondo.

PDP will change their tune and tone a day to the election when the reality is dawning on them.

GMB all the way.

For the record, the following states (18) are APC assured:
Kebbi, Niger, Kwara, Bauchi, Sokoto, Kaduna, Zamfara, Borno, Yobe, Jigawa, Katsina, Kano, Nasarawa, Osun, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo and Oyo.

PDP assured states (10) are;
Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers, Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa.

Battleground states (eight) are:
kogi, Plateau, Adamawa, Benue, Gombe, Edo, FCT and Taraba, Ekiti

The Punch analysis puts the victory btwn PDP and APC at 50:50 chances but here I see desparate APC slaves claiming to win the day with that old scrawny grand father of 73. This can only happen in a dream land.
What you don't know is that God alone will decide who wins this election and not man!
One thing is certain, the blood of innocent souls killed in post election violence of 2011 will surely appeal to God for judgement.

The Punch analysis is realistically what should happen in the presidential election on March 28, 2015, if there are no electoral malpractices.

The APC will win convincingly.

It's very obvious that the forthcoming election will be worn by Mr Buhari. Apart from the results of formal polls conducted by various media houses which have been mostlt in favour of GMB, even the trend observed online has also been in his favour. Going through people's comments, likes and shares of online reports of issues having to do with the either or the two of them, it will be observed that the numbers of comments, likes and shares in favour of Buhari always surpass the number of those in support of Jonathan. Observe for yourself. For instance, start from the very beginning of this thread and see the likes in support of Buhari and those in support of Jonathan. Which is more? Also, count the number of comments in support of each one of them and compare.
Sometimes, some people do a sort of polls and ask those in support of GMB to like a particular post while those supporting GEJ should share the post or vice versa. I'm yet to see any one of these informal, online voting-like contests won by Jonathan. They have all been won by GMB. You can show me any if you have seen.
The same thing happens on various online media, especially, on websites of media houses, when issues about the presidential contest is raised.
Let's see what happens again.
If you are for Buhari, click SHARE.

If you are for Jonathan, click LIKE.

Saraaaaaap!!!!!! Is Buhari yet qualified to contest the election?

You do not know: your votes to Buhari shall be like votes thrown into the Atlantic Ocean.

Buhari needs to show his O'Level qualifying certificate in Court to convince anybody that he truly passed through secondary school.

Or you believe we shall wish away the fact of Buhari's huge academic problems?

Buhari in 2011 with 32% on a CPC platform against GEJ can not make anything less than 50% this time around for the following reasons:

1. APC party structure and vibrant campaign

2. No heavy weight northern candidate to share his vote like Ribadu or Shekarau did in 2011

3. The PDP structure present in NW in 2011 has been weakened , due to; (a) incumbent NW governors not seeking second term (b) one decamped to APC in sokoto (c) PDP lost Zamfara in 2011.

4. GEJ's poor performance with the economy made him lose considerably goodwill amongst the populace

5. APC made in roads in to the SS / Se, by capturing Rivers and Imo state.

If you are still sitting on the Fence, join the winning team now. If you are planning to waste your votes on GEJ this week saturday, STOP, vote APC !

In 2011 Jonathan got 22mm representing 58% while Buhari got 12mm votes which is about 31%. That is despite the massive rigging by PDP. In 2011 proper election did not hold in South south and south east and this cannot happen in 2015 even though Buhari cannot win a single state their but PDP may not get half of what they got in 2011. South west voted overwhelmingly for Jonathan in 2011 and is very obvious the reverse will be the case in 2015. Just like is practically impossible for Buhari to win any state in South south and south east is equally true that Jonathan can never win a single state in northeast and northwest with exception of probably Taraba state. Here we are talking of almost 30mm votes. Now north central is where votes may be shared. In North central PDP may have plateau and probably Benue. Kogi is going to be 50 50 while Nassarawa, Kwara and Niger PDP cannot get even 20%. Victory for APC is very clear

The same punch newspaper that predicted a landslide victory for Fayemi in Ekiti state?. If their statistics doesn't prove right in just one state, then no reasonable person should trust their national predictions.
However, this statistics isn't about winning but a mind game targeted at Nigerians cause in reality they know GEJ is the winner. This prediction is more about claims in preparation to support the "parallel government" which they've vowed to form immediately GEJ declared winner by INEC. They just want to get their foolish followers ready to fight. Be warned!.

When 7,000 pastors go to pray for buhari in Lagos, u people approve of it. Then it is not a crime to bring in God into politics. Pls let's not sweat it. In few days the winner will emerge. I don't see how a party that has, to the full glare of the entire world, tried to frustrate the conduct of this very elections every step of the way (via its Jega must go campaign, anti-PVC/anti-Card reader campaign) can now boast of winning it, even against all evidences pointing to the contrary -- Jega is still in office, card readers and PVCs will be used for the elections.

Nigerians are not fools, they know that if the PDP had its way this elections would not even hold in the first place based on their recent antics.

But Nigerians will respond loud and clear come next saturday. March 28 can't arrive early enough.

apparently this analysis is defective. For instance, the impression given here about kwara is totally wrong. The truth about kwara at the moment is that the hate for Bukola Saraki is so tick that he may not have the privilege of seeing the four walls of Senate after this election. Unfortunately both Bukola and GMB are standing election same day. I see hate for Bukola further rubbing on GMB. That 70%-30% prediction in favour of Buhari in Kwara is a farce.
And if the punch prediction about kwara is this defective, I wonder what the situation is about other states.

That will also be a twist in this whole political debacle.

There are 10 massive law suit against Buhari with regards to his eligibility to contest having presented not too favourable credentials.

On the 24th, the hearing I guess will commence. I stand to be corrected on this. But I think it is the hearing. Anyway, whatever it is, the judiciary is about to be tested in a make or mar case.

The allegations against Buhari are very strong cos there are facts in BLACK n WHITE that may indict him. Except his team of lawyers are smart enough to wriggle him out. Otherwise, he may go in for it.

And that will lead to his disqualification.

Most people don't really understand the rules of engagement when it comes to filling and submission of documents.

No room for errors and alteration especially when it is sensitive in nature such as this.

No wonder they usually write a foot note that looks like an oath when you fill some very important forms---you seal the oath with your signature which shows that whatever information you have filled is binding by you and also can land you to jail.

No man is greater than the laws of the land.

Please let's leave the sentiment of Politics and critically analyse the suits against Buhari.

Its no joke at all because the outcome of this case is going to show to us if the so called CORRUPTION will be addressed properly or not.

The outcome of the case also will determine in the future what happens to similar cases and hence determine if the judiciary is a formidable arm of government or not.

Lots of people are blinded to the facts in the case and they are so excited with the election especially the APC people.

There are chances that the case will turn so many things around.

Let us keep on watching.....its a case of massive corruption.
