Dude, are you in a village with candlelight and no CNN news?

Boko Haram is dead, caliphates destroyed.

Nigerian military defeated Boko Haram 40 times in 40 days in 40 towns....new world military combat record, American and British armies have not yet achieved anything close to Nigeria's new level. This week America announced plans to withdraw all troops from Yemen before terrorists cut American soldiers into pieces .

Israel, owner of the best army in the world is saluting Nigerian army for setting a new war record ......modern day blitzkrieg !

No, most African navies only conduct boarding exercises with their foreign peers nothing technical.

You're just being cynical why would they target him?

Ever read or heard about the US navy swarming boat challenge?

All militaries perform boarding exercise. They are a requisite naval technique. Nigeria and other big navies perform live fire exercises, so nothing new or out of the ordinary.

The boat was deliberately targeted as it was seen as a legitimate target. Yet your incompetent, poorly trained and poorly skilled sailors missed.

OLODO!!!

3 shells landed 15 meters from Anthony Day's boat. It doesn't mean only 3 shots were fired.

The ineptitude of the South-African Navy.

http://m.ewn.co.za/2015/03/27/SANDF-warship-accidentally-shoots-at-a-fishing-boat

Any other Navy would send that fishing trawler to the sea bed.

Lol!! Go to sleep.

Quote us a number of shots. U a very good at pulling numbers from thin air (e.g 9 Gripen pilots).

3 shots fired. Why doesnt Anthony Day say he hear more? This happened during the dead of night. Him and his crew would have heard multiple rounds being fired for miles and miles away.

Now you want to shove words down his mouth the same way Augustine shoves his member down yours. Lol.

No navy fights war by jumping into to ocean like Olympic swimming competitors. Naval men sail in ships and fight in ships.

When your navy gets into the ocean, they can abandon ship and go swimming so that sharks can eat them.

For South African navy, the world just found out your gunners are NOT qualified to use naval weapons on their own warships....

The world is now seeing a the real exposed äss of South African navy ! A coast guard will sink SAN, because your Hollywood navy cannot shoot straight shocked shocked shocked

Bro, I have always repeated it here !

Gripen jet, Hawk jet, Artillery, IFV, Rooivalk, riflemen, all SANDF inexperienced green horns firing weapons into open sand or empty bush, in Hollywood videos and photos posted all over internet, firing at no specific target and no enemy that retaliates to shoot back at them.....ALL NA WASH...WISHY WASHY WASH !

Wait till SANDF faces an enemy well armed with weapons to fire back, then you will see the leaking holes of South Africa as a military äss-hole gringringrin

These guys CANNOT face Boko Haram inside Soweto township, inaccurate shooting will wipe out 50% of the innocent women and children while the real enemy dribbles SANDF around like Rhino poachers do, always do gringringrin
.

Augutus

The SANDF shoots at specific targets - obviously

Second, during training, people shoot back - ever heard of the MILES training system?

In anycase - who said it was the SAN?

Your argument is based on the assumption that it was the SAN - who says it was them?

The Department of Defence’s 2013/14 annual report noted that the SAAF flew a total of 18 454 hours, or 87.65% of the planned flying hours for the year ending March 31. Of the targeted 6 300 force employment hours that were planned, only 4 471 were actually flown as “the requirements of force employment were less than predicted.”

Nobody needs to visit soweto as the scenario has already played out.

A fisherman was the target,
Anthony Day and his crew were in the boat,
SA navy sailors fired their 76mm,
SA navy sailors missed.

Anthony Day VS incompetence,
Incompetence triumphs!

1. Who said the boat was directly targeted?
2. Who said it was South African Sailors?
3. Who said they missed?
4. Who said they fired their 75mm?

Answer these questions please. Show us the facts you use to come to these conclusions.

We are not at war, thus we will have limited combat sorties.

Non-the less, Rooivalk flew combat sorties in DRC and Gripen deployed to DRC in order to cover units in CAR

R50 million is a very small amount - SAAF has a budget of R7 Billion. So they spend 0.007% of the SAAF budget on VIP transport

We have completed extensive flight training exercises in countries as far away as Angola (Operation Blue Zambezi) and massive air based exercises across the whole country simultaniuously (operation winter solistace)

Here is a list of other training exercises:

- Ibsamar
- Seboka
- Young Eagle: Airborne (Light) forces field training exercise for one Airborne Brigade (minus)
- EW Camp: Electronic Warfare (EW) Camp, providing Air Force pilots an opportunity to fly in a high density EW threat environment
- Pegasus: Combined air transport exercise involving the South African and regional Air Forces
- Oxide incorporating Bourbon: Field training exercise to develop and maintain maritime co-operation at the operational and tactical levels between the SA Navy and French forces based in La Réunion
- New Horizon: Air Defence exercise with Command & Control elements
- Red Lion: Annual Task Force exercise

The figure of 18 000 hours brings you much pain I see.

Reminder: 2 SAAF aircraft are in the air every hour of ever day of the whole year
