When the hausa will say they are born to rule we will start ranting up and down. The crowd at each polling unit in the North will make you wonder if they are beeing paid in dollars to cast their votes, but come down to East (Onitsha to be precise) every household with their generators ON, watching telemundo and 'nkoli nwa nsuka'. Others prefer to go to the beer parlour to drink Origin and Nkwobi...(So annoying), but they want Goodluck to win..."How na?? Na magic??". You just need to go to main market, ochanja market. Relief market, infacts the crowd is so scary, go to Ariaria market in Aba just the same, yet Anambra and Abia could not produce up to 1M votes combined for Goodluck, haba!!!. The next you will hear is "my vote doesn't count, its has been rigged already" how na?? With recharge cards or voters cards??. Kano state has over 1.5M votes for APC only, do u think you watch television more than them, the sun intensity over there is more than the one we have here yet they left their Plasma and 3-D tvs just to deliver their candidates. Or maybe the Origin here is seeter than the ones in Ogun and Kastina states. With this attitude we are not going anywhere, we need to change the way we see things. So I will rather advice us not to argue next time we hear the Northerners saying they are born to rule, they deserve it because they work hard for it.

you just spoke my mind
it's so annoying
the thinking of an average igbo man in this voting matter is disgusting. they won't come out to vote who they want. just ask an average person here why, they'll tell you e no concern them, them don know who go win the election cos it has been rigged,if buhari or jonathan win na him go give them money to do their business?
mehn, i tire

Leave Igbos alone. Enough of all these threads, they are Nigerians and can vote for anyone. Leave them alone.....

When one considers the likes of Ngige and Rochas, I am not tempted to stereotype Igbos.

But more than often, the Igbos generally need to change their perception in Nigeria.
They are living in two countries. Biafra and Nigeria, until they let of the Biafra monkey from their backs no one will trust them and they will continue to loss significant value in Nigeria only Rochas I see as a sensible leader from that region

Same way you will be shocked to see to that Tinubu doesn't care about u either. He would alway prefer Ben Akabueze over one Mr Segun, who's a nobody. Naija Politrickians don't care about voters! Take a chill pill mehn

I'm very happy if Tinubu cares more about Akabueze to Mr Segun if that will unit Nigeria, you don't know how happy i was when I heard an Igbo man and an ijaw man won election in Lagos and pray quietly for a day a Yoruba man or hausa man will win election outside their own region.

So save me your tribalism and pray Tinubu care more for one Akabueze instead of Mr Segun while you too do your best to advice Mr peter Obi or Rochas to care more for Mr kunle or Mr Adamu than their own man.

Rochas is the only sensible person I see in the nearest future that has a strong shot at the Presidency from the Igbo tribe.

I am igbo, and I voted for kowa cos I believe their candidate was the most credible. I dint vote pdp because the have failed me for the past 16 yrs and I dint vote apc because most of those involved in failing me are among those spearheading the party. Those that voted pdp have their readons, likewise those that voted apc. That is politics for u, everybody with their interests. And no matter anyone's choice it dosent mean the other person should insult or start hating him/her. Some hausa's, yoruba's n igbos voted for pdp also some igbos, hausas n yoruba voted apc, I don understand why all this hate comments against the igbos? They voted for their choice and if their candidate lost so be it! The same igbos voted for obj n yaradua why r they now being verbally attacked for voting jonathan?

You don't get it and never will. Majority of Igbos voted for MKO in 1993 and didn't vote for their son, Alex Ugo, who was Tofa's running mate. Most Igbos voted for OBJ when most Yorubas didn't even though Ojukwu was running. Most Igbos voted for Yar'dua. How come they voted GEJ in 2011 and stayed home in 2015? GEJ is not who they thought he was. GEJ symbolized non performance!

Stop lying mjority of Ibos voted Bashir Tofa their Hausa ally in 1993. Not MKO

MKO got his result from the SW and North

SOme of us here followed the 1993 elections. Tofa won 3 out of 4 Ibo states

Dayo, Tomorrow you and your likes will still come out to say Igbos didn't vote Buhari because he is Fulani and Muslim, forgetting Tofa and Yaradua.
You say one thing when it suits you and say another the next.
The margin between Tofa and MKO wasn't really much in the South east.

WHen did I ever say Ibos dont vote Hausa? Historically Ibos have always voted Hausa over Yorubas? Only someone without the knowledge of history would say that

In 1960, Ibos supported Balewa a Northerner

In 1979, Ibos supported Shagari a Northerner

In 1993, Majority of Ibos supported Bashir Tofa

In 2007 majority of Ibos voted Yar Adua

More often than not, Ibos have always voted Hausas

but the Northern man doesn't think that way, he believes in his individual vote not even about the other person.
bros no matter how u see it,its hard to know who is a nigerian in the north, most chad n niger guys claim naija and speak hausa.democratically northern nigeria will always rule except they dont contest in unism.

if you are saying 'we' please clarify. Abu m onye igbo (i'm Igbo) and I voted Buhari because I want the best for myself and the best for my country. I will not just vote for a candidate simply because his name is Azikiwe (onye mara ma o bu eziokwu sef) or because he is a Christian. I voted for Jonathan in 2011 because I saw promise in him: a promise he woefully failed to deliver.

You are well sighted.I doff my Hat!
