IYANGBALI:I ASSUMED THAT YOU ARE FEMALE, BECAUSE YOUR COMMENT SOUND DUMB AND EMPTY, SO WHAT YOU ARE SAYING NOW IS THAT THE REAL NIGERIANS ARE THE NORTH AND SOUTHWEST? AM VERY SURE THAT ALL YOUR LIFE YOU'VE BEEN LIVING UNDER MAMAS SKIRT? THESE PAST ELECTION IS NOT ABOUT PERFORM, IS ABOUT POWER BEEN RETURN TO THE NORTH, MIND YOU I RESIDE IN THE NORTH I CAN HEAR ALL THE RUBBISH THE HAUSAS ARE SAYING DURING THEIR JUBILATION like (thank GOD the power as return to the north, ALLAH ya kore KAFIR THAT GOD AS DETRONE THE UNBELIEVER) IF YOU PEOPLE ARE SAYING THAT JONATHAN DID NOT PERFORM, THE NORTH CREATE THE SITUATION AND THE SAME NORTH USED THE TELE-GUARDED CONSEQUENSE OF THE INSTABILITY TO CAMPAIGN AGAINST JONATHAN WITH THE CONNIVANCE OF THE MUSLIM YORUBAS, ONE THING THAT WILL SAVE THE SITUATION IS THAT THE INCOMING HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SHOULD NOT MISTAKING TAMPER WITH ALL THE BENEFITS ACCRUE TO THE NIGERDELTANS (as in 13% derivation, niger delta ministry, oil producing funds e.t.c) BECAUSE THAT IS THE AIMS OF THE HAUSAS AND THAT IS WHAT ASARI AND HIS PEOPLE ARE WAITING FOR TO TRIGGER UP THEIR AGITATION. THE INCOMING ASSEMBLY WILL DETERMINE IF BUHARI IS GOING TO LEAD SUCCESSFULY. Mind you, i am a full blooded YORUBA residing IN THE NORTH FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS, SO IT GIVES ME A CLEAR VIEW OF WHAT IS HAPPENING AND AM SAYING THIS FROM THE UNBIAS POINTS OF VIEW. 4 Likes 1 Share |

RedBenson: Dont be a sore loser. Do you expect everybod in SW To fall in line because Asari threatened. OBJ didnt get as much support as GEJ got in SW. Maybe you should go and deal with Okorocha, Ngige, Amaechi for campsigning vigorously for GMB. You insult the SW Continually yet you want them to support your cause. I for one supported GRJ against Osinbajo from my state. If SW voted like SS/SE, GEJ wont get 2 Million votes from SW. The most untribalistic tribe remains the SW. They are also the deciding factors. Those 2 Million votes from SW Was about the margin GEJ lost by. Next time tell Mr And Mrs. Asari not to insult an entire region stupidly. I am a supporter of GEJ and will always be. Some of us were insulted and called Bastardon this forum because we preffered GEJ over Osinbajo 1 Like |

Pls which igbos is this maudafurker talking about? The same igbos that him and his fellow Niger deltans where insulting or another igbos? If Gmb is the change we need for this country to move on, then so be it. We may have giving gej 60% of our votes but that does not mean we will go to war because he lost. I don't think any responsible person from the SS will listen to asari talk more of an igbo person.. The biafran revolutionary force are not blood tasty and will not engage in any kind of terrorism just to make a point. And massob is far more mature and advanced to listen to the likes of asari. A minority. Politically we igbos are lacking behind. but we are far to unique and mature to go to any kind of war because somebody lost an election... Asari should pls go and die. 2 Likes |

Mopolchi:When will you guys learn. when will you all REALISE that Yorubas are not as sentimental as the rest of Nigeria. Our culture dictates that leaders must perform, this is ingrained in our DNA. Did we not criticize OBJ? Have you all forgotten how his own ppl treated him When he failed to perform? And during the Yaradua saga did the Yorubas not pressure the north this making way for the prisms boy. We even voted for him when he sought his first term. if the rest of Nigeria were as pragmatic as the yorubas then this nation would have long been a great nation. To my ignorance peeps who keep hating on the Yorubas, you're doing so at your own demise. Stop the infatuation and move on. Should Buhari fail to perform then we'll find an alternative in 4 years. instead of fuming on Nairaland for the next for years start fielding an easterner candidate that can do a good job as president and trust me the Yorubas will judge him/her by measure of his/her mandate and not where he/she hails from. Stop already, a thread like these for the next for years is unhealthy. Cleanse your mind of the anti Yoruba sentiments and God will bless you. 2 Likes |

Obolo people The Andoni people of Rivers State , of Nigeria , are a part of the Ijaw tribe and are also considered as a distinct ethnolinguistic group by others, and a people closely related to the Annang , Igbo, Ibibio and Efik people of Akwa Ibom State and Cross River State in Nigeria. Like these people, the Andoni people refer to God as Awaji or Owaji. [1] Historically, the Andoni (Idoni or Indo) before the colonial era had commercial contacts with European traders and with other Ijaw clans, such as the Bonny, Okrika , Kalabari , and Nkoro . The Andoni frequently fought wars with the Kingdom of Bonny. The Andoni people speak Obolo as the only native language. Obolo language is a combination of Efik, Ibibio, Annang, Igbo and Ijaw. Andoni villages and towns are situated on islands. Thus, Island I comprises Ngo Town, Ikuru Town, Unyeangala, Agana, Egwede, Ayamboko Town Agwut-Obolo , Ilotombi, Ekede and stretched to Oyorokoto , the largest fishing settlement in Rivers State. Island II comprise Asarama Town, Unyeada , Egendem and other small villages and Island III has Ebukuma Town, Okoloile, Agbalek-Ama(Agbalama), Ama Ubulom, Ama Ngere Nkpon, Otako, Okorobo- Ile ,Down Below, Asuk-Oyet , Ama Esuuk, Ama jaba, and several other smaller villages. In fact, it is believed that Island Three stands at the centre of Andoni as it is the link between Island One and Two. Island Four includes four major communities - Dema, Ibotirem, Samanga and Ajakajak, Dema being the largest. Across this stretch of land are parts of Ogoni. Other towns of Andoni that are situated on Island includes, Ataba Town and its many villages, Oron-Ijah, Egbomun, Ajakajak, Ibot-Irem, Isiodum, Iyon-Oron, Asarama-ija and many smaller fishing ports. Aerial view of these island display a sort of shattered constellation on the surface of water. There is a historical link between the Okrika and the Andoni people. The Andoni people are the fiercest warriors in the Niger Delta, they have fought many wars with the Ogonis yet they are the best of friends. The Andoni (Obolo)also migrated and settled in various part of Nigeria including Ohafia and Aro (Arochukwu ) in Igbo land, Eastern Obolo , Ibeno -Eket and Oron in Akwa Ibom states and Andoni, Kala-Ido and Ogoloma in Okrika and Kalabari in Rivers State. The Andoni people are very cultural, among the key towns are Ngo (Gogo), Ebukuma, Ikuru (Ama Ikwut), Ataba, Ekede, Agwut-Obolo, Okoromboko , Okoroete , Iko, (Eastern Obolo axis), Asarama, Unyeada, Dema and Ilotombi and so many more. The Nwantam masquerade of Andoni celebrated every first January is one of the highlights of Obolo festivities, which they share with the Opobo, Nkoro , Bonny and Ndoki Ijaws. Their ancient practices includes a writing system known as nsibidi , ofiokpo cult and the war dance which both the Ohafia and Arochukwu clans still retain despite loss of original language. Some parts of the Andoni tribe can be reach by roads and all can be reached by sea. It is rich in Wildlife (Elephants, Monkeys, Species of Pythons, Tortoise etc. and Mineral resources. It is a growing tourist location in Rivers State. cc @ anyaekekehinde had to go goggle it for u thnk me nw |

lastpage: Your military couldn't defeat BH without other African nations involvement Your military couldn't defeat Biafra without other African and western nations involvement Your military couldn't defeat Mend militants without your president offering amnesty. The only time no foreign nation wanted to get involved in your disagreement, Nigeria forfeited a portion of it's land to Cameroon without a fight Yet you are here boasting of a weak@ss military. Abeg waka. By the way, Lmfao. Is it not ND oil paying for everything you import. Without income from ND, how do you people except to feed yourselves? Even when GEJ supposedly witheld a portion of oil wealth or so you people accuse him off has you guys protesting left and right out of hunger. You better know whose feeding you. And is it only north that has lands to farm? Mtchewwwwwwwwwwwww for your mind No, oil does belong to all Nigerians. During your cocoa wealth, didn't your people hug it up? During groundnut wealth, didn't the north hug it up, now all of a sudden, "oil is for all". Like I mentioned, since the north saw GEJ as an "infidel unworthy to rule them" therefore, the wealth from ND is also "infidel". Let them use the groundnut and agricultural to fix the destruction they did in their lands simply because an "infidel" was their president. End of story! 1 Like |
GEJ ruled for some 5 years no development in the Niger delta apart from making the likes of Asari billionaires. The people of Niger delta have remained as poor as we have always been, environmental degradation still continued unchecked under GEJ,gas flaring still continued under the outgoing president and he is of Niger delta extraction. You now come here to say becos a fulani man has been elected by other stake holders in this project called Nigeria there is a gang up against you. Guy grow up and act your age.To think i once admired your ways of reasoning. I am from Niger delta and that is where i reside.

It is palpably clear that these socalled compatriots in Igbos and Igboids(Deltans) have no interest of the nation at heart since independence. They always work against the nation and effort of well meaning Nigerians. I think it's time to eschew sentiments and pay this ignoramus back their worth. The last election shows that Igbo are indeed evil people and never mean wells. They pervade themselves all over the country in other peoples lands with their Rat mentality sucking parasitically on the resources of other peoples land to the detriment of the indigenes only later to ungraciously claim the land the are guest in is no mans land (Lagos) that they are more than the indigenes. They end up producing children that are poorly trained and educated like rats add no value, that they claim they do, to their host communities. Instead they bring their vices from the east with them; 419, kidnapping, dealing in fake and low quality products, get rich quick syndrome, ritual killings, Drug peddling worldwide, eroding achievements other well-meaning Nigerians in foreign lands, the list is endless......I think its high time this people are moved back to their unclave of Biafra before the really devalue are collective franchise, Nigeria which them alone have been able to singly give bad names to, all over that world. There is no single good in these people with exception of very minute insignificant few of them that have grown up in civilised society or the society did not allow them to practice their evil trade as they would love to. |

baysol: So the oil money is now Igboid as well, right? Guy, if you can't compete with 'foreigners' in your land, that is your problem and not theirs. A lot of these comments sound bitter and jealous. Igbo people aren't just in Nigeria, they know of their names in Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Congo, South Africa and so on. Somebody's industriousness shouldn't be a thorn in your flesh, it should encourage you to enter a healthy friendly competition if nothing else and study and train such a group humbly. All this other shit is nonsense. People are talking about the presidential election now as if Buahri will elevate the northern people at anywhere near the standard of living of those in the south east, which is not going to happen, so the best thing is for the rest of Nigeria to study south eastern Nigeria. There's no aspect of human life that isn't better in south eastern Nigeria or among people from the delta, so I don't know where you're getting your idea about low-quality education from. 1 Like |

Rexnegro: We Ndigbo are everly ready to burn zoological republic, come to Igbo, every young man is listening to Radio Biafra, we have our own identity now, ND militant big wigs joined the IPOB two years ago and I know u don't know what Army of Biafra is, weapons and ammunitions production are being financed by Igbo and ND people all over the world, u need to hear people enthusiastic about coming down home to burn this zoo once and for all. People from all careers are volunteering to all sections of the army, I am at the Engineering section, and am so proud, man dies only once. And this time we have diplomacy, think AU member state position, think hundreds of Biafran embassies all over the world. We have learnt the lessons of why our first struggle failed. Our ND have learnt their lessons too. NDPVF are waiting for us to say "it's time". We are putting final touches to this movement, diplomacy first, if it fails, we take the war to monkeys and baboons. I will reiterate again, by the time we are through with this zoological republic, the world will hear the scores. if u are from Biafra and u are afraid don't quote me and yan nonsense, I have no time for cowards, u can be in the same country with terrorists, cus I know Biafra only and Biafra is my country. Development..aside from North, SW is the least developed region in that country. Next time you want to open your mouth to yarn rubbish make sure your entire region is not a piece of sh1t filled with high poverty, high crime rate and developed instead of brown roof and ugly street everywhere with uneducated touts and agberos running around.
